This review is for the Pizzeria portion of Silvio’s, not the formal restaurant.
Ordered the beemaster– large pie with onions, peppers and garlic. Not skimpy with toppings at all which was pretty solid! Came out nice and hot and fresh with great customer service. Overall, good and satisfying pizza.
On the other hand… we literally had a crackhead (not kidding) walk right up to our table and stare us down. The owner did a nice job of getting her out of the door pretty quickly, buttttt definitely the last time I’ll be coming here for a while unless it’s takeout.

Had mass at the church of Fatima next door, so stopped here before for a casual dinner. Silvo’s has a take out portion and a separate dining room. Their wine selection is pretty much nonexistent, yellow tail is their main option? The Chilean sea bass was a bit salty, the meatballs were too hearty, but the seafood linguini hit the spot. Juicy lobster tail, shrimp and mussels all mixed over linguini for an amazing price. The lasagna was pretty good, but then again it is lasagna. The cannoli was nothing magical and they really need to speed up their food delivery time, over 40 minutes for pasta is a little excessive.

This is the first time I’ve had New York pizza and finally understood what all the hype was about. Killer place, killer food, and a genuine New York pizzeria feel. For this Texan, I didn’t feel stuck in a tourist trap, but I felt like I was getting an authentic New York experience. Fantastic food and fantastic experience. Highly recommended.

I’ve had pizza here a bunch of times but I finally sat down for dinner in the restaurant section and it was great. I took advise from a Unilocaler and tried the clams casino… Amazing!!! We also tried chicken a pasta dish. Also great! The service was also great. Unfortunately, I don’t remember the names but I will be returning for more than pizza. Very satisfied.

This is a hidden gem. We traveled from Washington Heights in Manhattan. My husband attends church in Yonkers and suggested Silvio’s for dinner on a Saturday night. I was initially skeptical. Boy, did my attitude change. This place is excellent! We will return!

I Always try to put in a good word for mom and pop stores, but these guys cant even get 2 slices of cheese ready in 20 minutes. And they want $ 4.50 a slice.
Its mediocre pizza and the only reason i stopped there was its convenience. Never again. Im calling dominoes next

Fabulous caprese salad, best in the area. Pasta fagioli soup had just the right hint of garlic.
Portions were more than enough for my meal and I took home a doggie bag. Have gone back several times for excellent take out!

Solid not fancy Italian neighborhood pizzeria/​restaurant. Prices are reasonable and portions are not family style but alittle larger than average. Most items i have tried on the menu do taste fresh. Sauce is above average for typical Italian restaurants in the area. Heros are great, pizza is thin crust and great and pasta dishes are good. Street parking right in front is usually easy to find as well.

My last review turned out to be a «tip» so I’ll post again. My husband raves about their clams casino. He says they are the best he has ever had — I must agree. We eat here quite regularly and have had numerous family events in their catering hall upstairs and the wine room downstairs. We have never been disappointed. The food is fresh and delicious in perfect portions. The staff makes you feel like part of the family. And free parking in the Post Office parking lot not even a block away.

I didn’t give Silvio’s 5 stars only because I ordered about 3x so I wouldn’t say I’m such an expert on this place but so far, it’s a real gem in Yonkers. Incredibly delicious Penne Alla Vodka w/​Grilled Chicken. They’re certainly not cheap with the meat and the sauce isn’t overwhelmingly greasy like other Alla Vodka dishes.
The staff is really accommodating. Everyone there talks to you like they’ve known you for years. Truly a great spot on South Broadway
