Our server was horrible. When she came to our table to get our order she made a face when all we ordered was coffee and a slice of pie. I get it. She was probably upset that she would not get a big tip since we’re not ordering a whole meal. Well she just guaranteed an even smaller tip with that face and attitude. Then after five minutes of having our coffee and pie she walks by and drops the bill on our table like we were finished or something. The nerve of her. She never came back to our table to offer more coffee. Finally after about half an hour we decide to ask for more. Luckily we did get refills. After we were finally near finished she comes by our table and says«I’m waiting for you because I want to go home.» Again I understand, you’ve had a long day and you would like to go home and get some rest. But that is not something you say to a paying customer. A simple«We’re closing now» would suffice. It’s experiences like these where I wish we as customers could write citations on the business owners for having poor service like this. I feel bad for any of her future customers expecting at least a pleasant dining experience. And Mr. Business owner, please regulate this behavior.

Food was just ok. I brought my mom for breakfast. I had french toast and sausage with OJ that came in what equates to a shot glass. Service was just ok. French Toast was good but not as good as I expected. Wouldn’t go out of my way for this place but I wouldn’t refuse to go. Prices were a little lower than the average diner.

Great place for breakfast and anything else. Seafood dishes are a little pricey but the food is always good and the staff is very nice.

so I call this place and they say they stop serving food at 11:45 … I get there at 11:28 and they refuse to serve me … I show the owner my phone indicating I called at 11:15 asking what time they close the kitchen … he won’t own up to answering the phone … I tell him that’s bad business to lie to your customers and that’s why they are completely empty… he follows me outside looking for a fight/argument… he gets in my face yelling at me in Greek… I show him my phone again saying«did you or did you not say your were open» .: he calls me a piece of shit… I tell him my uncle is a Yonkers cop and if he touches me I’ll call me the police.: mind you he’s almost nose to nose with me.: he calls me a piece of shit again and tells me to go fuck my mother and goes back inside .: wtf happened to this place … plz don’t go here they are full of it and don’t seem to want business… they used to be open 24 hrs now they aren’t due to the decline in business … I wonder why.: and I am a restaurant manager.: don’t give these animals your money … go to the raceway.: argonaut or Eldorado instead

Food is gross here. No effort, just try to serve you as quick as possible. I ordered a grilled cheese and they put one slice of cheese on it. Just lacks quality.

I love a good diner breakfast and I was so in the mood for one today. Strange that this was a mix of good and bad. On the good side the potatoes had a nice layer of well done ones on top and I didn’t even have to ask for this like I usually do. And the«diner toasted bagel,» was just perfect(it’s different from a great bagel store bagel). Unfortunately with all this good, the bacon omelette was very dry and a little cold. And, as for the service, well suffice to say when I have to ask for more water. Please!

Awesome food, attentive service, entertaining and polite waitress(Maureen) who could easily be a stand-up comic, and reasonable prices!

The true embodiment of the term«average diner». Average service, average ambiance(I know diners shouldn’t necessarily be judged on this standard), and very average food, especially breakfast. I’m not much of a fan of diners to begin with, and I only come here because it’s a convenient meet-up spot for getting together with my father and brother. Otherwise, I’d never bother. There are definitely better diners to choose from in Lower Westchester.

I had breakfast there this morning with my son his wife and two toddlers. The waitress who served us was working like a demon and was extraordinarily efficient and kind. we were there for a late breakfast, and we ordered different dishes which were equally attractive and delicious. I had two eggs sunny side up with turkey sausage and bacon with rye toast along with a side of corn beef hash. My son and daughter in law had omelettes, most delicious. Everything was excellent and done perfectly. This was this was despite the waitress obviously having a great deal to do in a short time. My compliments to the waitress and manager.

This used to be our go to diner, but the service has dwindled since it came under new management! I think this is our last visit for some time. We’ll start looking for a new place now.

I’ve been here hundreds of times over the years. We usually have no problems at all, but the other night we had a Nasty waitress who was annoyed(she said she was tired, who cares. Don’t take it out on the customer) because I had to send my food back 4 times(eggs Benedict made wrong, gave me Canadian bacon I didn’t want, the egg was over cooked then the regular bacon was raw then they gave me Canadian bacon again) .Then my sons burger was charred then came back raw! They better shape up their kitchen staff and servers if they want my business .,

OK food. The most unfriendly staff of people, including the owner that you could ever meet. The waitress walked away from my table mid sentence to answer another tables question — was very rude and nasty about it. She kept forgetting orders and the food was just average. Also the owner walking around the diner, was nasty and demeaning. Told my friend that she is wasting her time going to Westchester community college and another friend that being an art major is going to get her nowhere in life. Is that the way staff is supposed to engage in conversation with their customers? I think not. The food is overpriced here but decent which is why I gave it two stars. However, the service alone is such a turn off because of their rude personalities. However — if you are going here I recommend trying the cheesecake and engaging the least amount of conversation possible with the people that work here.

My reviews for this place are like the stock market… they go up and then they go down. What is going on with Mont Olympos? Down again just like the DOW. Ordered Bluefish special only to find out 10 minutes later that they ran out of bluefish. So settled for broiled flounder because our behinds were already in the booth and it is kind of awkward leaving although I was tempted. Next, bread was put on the table. How nice! Nice if you have sharpened your teeth so you can break through the dryness and crustiness of the bread. And I don’t mean crustiness in a good way. I asked someone on staff why the bread was so dry. Simple answer. It was baked the day before. So let’s see if I understand this. I am going to spend at least $ 17 each plus tax and tip on an entrée and it’s ok to give me day old bread? Is this some kind of discount bakery you have going here? The flounder entrée was preceded by Matzoh ball soup. So tasty that hubby literally opened up the pepper shaker and dumped it in the soup. He said it didn’t really have«character» or flavor. I love it when he hates other people’s soups. That makes him appreciate mine so much more. Sometimes we cooks are taken for granted and it takes a place like Mont Olympus to remind them of the time, effort and love we put into every drop of soup. So the Flounder comes out and it is super tasteless. How can flounder be tasteless? It is a fish that usually has a stronger taste to it. Could it be that it was frozen when we ordered it and they soaked it in hot water to defrost it? I don’t have the answer, just theories. How do you screw up flounder? Baked potato was fine only because there is no true way of messing up a baked potato other than to over cook it.(Over night perhaps since they are clearly not using the oven for baking fresh bread.) The broccoli was nothing special. Steamed but no flavor. How about springing for a clove or two of garlic and making that broccoli taste like something. I had the pork souvlaki which usually has onions but this had none. It’s ok. The better for my breath to smell, my dear. The pork was a tad overdone but at least I didn’t have to withstand the torture of tasteless fish. The«greek» salad was small but I was glad to have it. The french fries were done as I asked and they gave me plenty of them. There wasn’t a smile from my hubby’s face throughout the whole meal. He said it was one of the worst meals he ever had. On Saturday, a long lost cousin is coming to New York from Boston and we planned to eat at a diner. This won’t be it.

If you stick to typical diner food you should be in good shape here. The food is a bit inconsistent though ranging from very good to just alright.

It’s a diner. We had a large group(8) which required 3 separate checks. There were a few mistakes — some people got the wrong food, wrong toast, and an item was added to one person’s bill, but all was quickly fixed. Food was ok. Not spectacular, just ok. It’s a diner, and not an outstanding diner, but they do have room for large groups and that’s what we needed. Service was good since they did address all the issues. I wouldn’t go if I weren’t meeting friends, but it’s ok.

I go here a lot for breakfast and sometimes lunch. You get seated quickly and waited on quickly. Sometimes the food comes super fast and sometimes you wait a short time. Typical diner. The food is good though. Wait staff is friendly. The restaurant is clean. I’m a fan for sure!
