Only open in summer time. Its in the Buffalo National Park. It has a spectacular view. The fried chicken was awesome. You get a trip to the little salad bar & fries. Fried cat fish had too much breading. The only draw back was that the place needed better ventilation. My clothes smelled greasy when we left. We were shocked at how good the chicken was.

Great meal after a few days camping. The had the chicken fired chicken with Jo Jo’s potatoes and is the best! Others in our group could not stop raving about how good the fried chicken was. Very friendly people and the view of the Buffalo River made it even better!

First time visitor today, Memorial Day 2011. The restaurant is located within the Buffalo National River Park near the Buffalo Point Campground, overlooking the river. The view of the river far below is magnificant. The restaurant is fairly small. I would estimate it can seat about 30 – 35 people. The menu is not large, but the selection I ordered for lunch was great. They have burgers, sandwiches, chicken, fish(trout or catfish), chicken fried steak, hamburger steak, appetizers, small salad bar, and about 10 different kinds of pie. Service was friendly and moderately efficient. Prices were certainly reasonable(I was expecting higher prices since it’s at a tourist location). Even if you’re not staying at the campground, it’s definately worth a drive there to enjoy a nice meal if you live anywhere in the area. I think it’s only open from like Memorial Day Weekend to Labor Day Weekend.
