As someone who’s worked at 6 pizzarias in their life, I know pizza. Recently I tried Luciano’s again, and under the new management, the pizza has absolutely blown me away. I’ve tried the old pizza from the previous owner, maybe it was bugger but it was never anything special. However, I now cannot get enough of this place. Each slice seems to have so much effort put into it, everything that should be on it, is. They go above and beyond with the pizza and certianly have a passion for it that shows.

These other reviews must be from when they had just shifted owners — I’ve been coming here since November 2014… this place has the best pizza and pasta in the area and the owner is genuinely caring. That combination makes this place my GO-TO Italian food stop

Under new management explains it. This used to be a very good place, Now it makes prison food seem like a Michelin star restaurant. We had the the pizza. At least that’s what they called it. It was cold cardboard with a little cheese and Ragu sauce. We also paid for some toppings that you needed a microscope to detect. We were also overcharged by 20% based on the 6 month old menu we had. Even if it was free I would never order there again. Right now I’m just hoping not to get food poisoning. ANYONEGIVINGTHISPLACEMORETHAN1STARIS A SHILL!!!

Under new management. Place used to be great. New owner snapped at me when I complained the eggplant hero price doubled. Sandwich not too bad, but I give this place until the end of the year. I will NOT pay $ 14 for a sandwich.

I work right down the street from Luciano’s, so my co-workers and I order from there a lot. After tonight, that ha changed. We ordered an individual sized calzone and and whole chicken parm hero. According to the menu(and what we’ve been paying every time we ordered these items) the calzone is supposed to be $ 6.95, and the whole chicken parm hero is $ 8.50. I walked into the restaurant, and found nobody behind the counter. About a minute later, 3 employees came up from the back, one of which was carrying our order. One of the employees rang up my order, which came to $ 25.57. Shocked, I told him he rang it up wrong and repeated my order. He double checked the piece of paper hanging up which said«Temporary Prices», and assured me he had rung everything up correctly. According to the sheet, a whole chicken parm hero is now $ 14.95(a $ 6.45 increase) and a small calzone is now $ 8.95(a $ 2 increase). I told him the price we have been paying, and that the new prices were absolutely ridiculous. He agreed that they were high, but told me that he was just the delivery guy and he had to go by the list. The sandwich was good, but not the best chicken parm I’ve ever had. It was a bit longer than the previous owner had made it, but definitely was not worth almost doubling the price. My co-worker’s calzone was much smaller than the previous owner made. He said it was pretty good, but it’s hard to mess up a cheese calzone. We will definitely not be returning, and have already warned our other co-workers about the ridiculous new prices. There are plenty of other better and cheaper pizzaria/Italian restaurants within a quarter mile radius.

Like other reviews upset about the new management I too need to add some comments. The pizza is now worse than subpar. The onions weren’t cooked. The salad was mediocre. We had been going for years. Had a great rapport with John. He always made sure everything was ok. Not sure what exactly happened there but the place is now terrible. Not only will we be not going back but we also recycled the menu. So unfortunate.

Heard the place was under new management. They have to step it way up. Got a Sicilian slice and a regular slice. Cost over $ 8 and was the worst pizza I ever had. Greasy and tasteless cheese.

I’ve been going to Luciano’s for a few years and it’s always been great. Called in a steak salad to go for lunch. When I opened it i was shocked to see what I believe was a steak em shredded over the lettuce. I tasted it and it was awful! I threw it out. When I came back to the office I found one of my co-workers had a similar experience and then told me they were under new management. My wife picked up eggplant parm with spaghetti a few days later, which was actually ok. I told her of my experience so just last week we ordered the eggplant Parm w. spaghetti again. It was terrible! It wasn’t cooked and the sauce was absolutely tasteless. We ate ½ and threw the rest away. This saddens me because it was such a great place and now I have to find another pizza place. I definitely won’t be back.

We ordered off of their menu online and come to find out, they are under new management and are currently revamping their menu. We got 3 pizzas: 2 thin crust cheese and one wild mushroom. Well one cheese was great. The other was burnt, and the wild mushroom wasn’t right. When we called, they responded RIGHT away. We got 2 replacement pizzas. They were so nice about everything. And, the pizzas are delicious. What a great place!

They never fail to DISAPPOINT! On my latest visit, I was quickly reminded why I stopped ordering from here. Although the food is definitely above average, their kitchen operation and lack of customer service are right out of a kitchen nightmare episode! I ordered for delivery on a Friday evening and was told it would be an hour. I asked how soon if I picked it up and was told 35 minutes — I said I’d pick it up. Got there 45 minutes later and waited at the counter for 25MORE minutes! During that time, I was not the only one growing impatient. At least the comedy behind the counter kept my attention — people bumping into each other, not knowing who ordered what, confusing pick ups and deliveries, etc etc. when my order finally came up, it was wrong and had to be sent back. And not one apology for the wait!!! I think that was my last visit. Good luck to you and thanks for reading!

Great pizza, and fast delivery. I really like the Buffalo Chicken Pizza, it’s a must try. Also, they have a few small tables inside if you’d like to eat a quick slice there. Definitely one of the best options when ordering pizza in the Wyckoff area.

We live in Wyckoff and though there are many other pizza places in our town, we wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else. We love Luciano’s. Our kids love Luciano’s. Their thin crust pizza is the best. The sauce has just the right amount of spice and zing to it. We’ve also sampled the margarita, and chicken parm. pizzas as well. I love that they have some of the more unique combinations available by the slice so that you can try without commitment. Next up is the deep dish. I’ve heard it’s pretty awesome.
