Powder & Sun Mountain Outhouse

While the shopping experience seems straightforward and easy, I can’t say I’ve been impressed with their customer service at all. I had ordered an Arbor snowboard, and wanted to try and modify or possibly cancel the order. I tried to get in touch with these guys via email multiple times AND by phone, but had no success in any of my repeated attempts.
With that being said, unless you are buying in-​store, make sure you know exactly what you want – no buyers’ remorse allowed with these guys because their indirect communications just flat-​out suck!
On the bright side of things, the snowboard was pretty nice and their pricing was attractive.

I’m so glad we stopped by and walked out with a great deal on a new board and bindings. Staff was super helpful and totally nice– not douchey like many shops I’ve been in. Will be back next time I’m in town.

Super cool store! the guys here are very helpful. Brent helped me out buying my first board with bindings and boots. This guy is very helpful and knowledgeable. I walked out with a bad ass kink board ready to ride. I wouldn’t go anywhere else to buy anything for snowboarding needs.

Just a great shop overall. They don’t oversell you like most shops. Rather than leading you, they prefer to give you options and have you make the choice yourself. They pricing is fair and they have a great selection. Definitely a highly recommended shop.

During the summer, we picked up some great items on sale here. The owner was trying to clearance out some items before his Fall/​Winter clothing arrived and was selling several racks of really nice clothing out in front of the store.
I found a couple of great hoodies for my stepdaughter and a really cute t-​shirt and sweatshirt for myself. My husband also loaded up on some sweatshirts as well.
Now that it’s starting to get cold up in Wrightwood, and we decided stop by this store to get some gloves for our son. We finally understand why this place is called the «Outhouse». This place is so tiny! Filled with jackets, glove, and hats, we found exactly what we needed to keep our son’s hands warm. There may not be a huge selection at this store, but the clothing that’s here is really nice.
The customer service is also very good. When we were here a few months back, we found the owner to be really nice. The young man who worked here this weekend was also friendly and helpful.
Although the prices are a bit on the expensive side, we’re so happy that they had what we needed in a pinch. The good customer service is a wonderful bonus.
