Dr. Kamer is the man! He definitely makes any clients day enjoyable even if they are dreading their eye care appointment.
I will not leave him because I know I can trust him. He’s been treating my eyes well for over 10 years. Although as I said in my previous review, when the time comes I will have the lasik procedure to correct my vision. As of now, the procedure is not in the books until I can afford it. I’m not scared of it because I’ve wanted it for a long time and talked to other patients who have had it as well as the doctors so I’m prepared for what’s to come.
Recently, the office got all updated equipment which can scan your retina and do exams more thoroughly. I like it because it’s a 3D lens that takes pictures of your eyes and tells you what’s going on there.
In addition, I am grateful for Dr. Kamer’s staff because I didn’t have vision insurance for a year and they made sure I would have plenty of contacts to last me until I can come back!
Still recommending Dr. Kamer to anyone looking for a good optometrist. Him and his staff are all friendly and explain everything very well to you. You know your in good hands when you come to this office!

My son and I had our first appointment here today and I am very impressed. It’s a small office and they allowed us to do our exams together, as my son was a bit apprehensive. The doctor found a somewhat serious problem with my son’s vision that hadn’t been previously identified. Something that could’ve caused his vision to deteriorate over time if left untended.
Both of our exams were very thorough and I felt like the doctor really took his time with each of us. He was super friendly and explained everything in plain terms without talking down to either of us. He couldn’t have been better with my son. My son actually asked if he could come back twice a year like the dentist, lol!
The office staff explained our insurance benefits and we discussed what was covered before I was charged. They were very transparent. Seriously, this visit could not have gone better. I also want to add that at almost 39 years old I still have perfect vision! Okay, that’s just bragging but, whatever, I’ll own it!
