Sam’s Club

Sam’s Club Optical is fantastic. Shoba consistently goes above and beyond every time I need assistance — whether it’s to tighten my glasses, refill my lens cleaner or pick out a new pair for the season. She is always on top of her game! Whole club has very friendly staff.

This place doesn’t have great sales, it is not always cheaper to buy in bulk. Only benefit is less expensive gas! It’s also annoying that the cashiers are almost sales reps and are required to constantly up sell the plus membership at more than double the cost of a regular membership. The plus membership has minimal benefits.
On my last visit I had numerous large items on my cart and the cashier explained that she was required to pick up all items and move to another cart. She asked a manager if this was needed as the items in my cart were all visual. The manager advised moving everything was required, and walked away without assisting at all!!! I was shocked and opted to do this myself!
It appears they do not treat employees well, therefore impacting customer service.
Will not renew membership!

How can you beat Sam’s?. Walmart on steroids. New homes are being built with big buy, storage closets. Get it in bulk and save.

Just joined here after letting my BJ’s membership lapse. Got a great deal on it thanks to Living Social as it has already payed for itself in freebies.
The place is huge it’s clean, and it is well laid out with plenty of signage to lead you in the right direction.
The packages of stuff are huge, and for the most part prices are not. Let’s face it folks, you can’t be the lowest priced on everything, but from what I saw on my first visit, they do a pretty good job here.
Though I will not be doing all of my shopping here, I will be here once a month to bulk up and get some cheap gas.

I’m a sucker for warehouse stores. Which just means I’m a sucker for deals.
Sam’s has a slightly different feel from Costco, but it’s great nonetheless. Here, too, you can get a $ 1.50 hot dog meal (also verrry yummy), as well as a finger-lickin’-good slice of pizza. Really. I was über impressed with it.
Oh, and of course you can get great bulk items here, including, but not limited to: a 9-​pack of Renuzit air fresheners for 7 bucks (better than when CVS has sales on ‘em!), a ginormous bag of Pirate’s Booty for less than 5, and even magazines for way less than cover price. Overall, nice stuff at a nice price… there are some things here that aren’t at Costco, and vice versa, but hey, that’s why yours truly has memberships to BOTH.
Heads up: only debit and Discover are accepted here… and at Costco, only debit and AMEX. Cash and checks are accepted at both.

Just opened up this past week. Has all the normal items inside. Nice new store.
