Cheap but badly cooked. I ordered boneless ribs but received pickle instead. Location also inconvenient, I spent an hour to commute from Shrewsbury.

Ordered some take out the other night and was pleasantly surprised. Their Moo-shu was some of the best I’ve ever had and the Hot and Sour soup was delicious. They made me realize how bad the normal place I go to is. Prices were great and portion sizes were great as well.

I’m pretty sure that based on the taste of their food their name should be changed for false advertising. I’ve never really been one to dislike a Chinese take out place but this place was not good at all. I had their sweet and sour chicken for future reference if you do choose to go there please avoid it.

You are hard pressed to find good Chinese food in N. C I’m not sure what the problem is. The further south you go, the worse it gets.(Skip Florida altogether). In any event, I was driving up to Ma. For my father in laws birthday. My kids begged me to bring back some Chinese food. On the way back I swerved off the highway and asked a heavily tatooed local wearing a Red Sox cap and speaking in a dearly missed dialect where I could find a good Chinese place. He directed me up the street to «Good Taste» Don’t be put off by the um.décor. It’s rather spartan. At the time, plumber was in there talking to the owner. He was a nice black guy. oh, I mean, a nice African American fellow who told me the food was really good. I have learned two things in my life. One, women do not find it sexy when you refer to yourself as «daddy» and two, if a person of African persuasion tells you the food is good, you can take that to the bank. Anyway, I think the bill was only about 47 bucks and I got a lot of stuff and they threw in an extra eggroll and an order of General Somebody’s chicken. I can never keep track. I buckled the bag in like a square, chunky baby and drove 16 hours home. The food was delicious and inexpensive and the boys were delighted to have some decent Chinese for once. The crab Rangoon had a sweetness to it that I really liked. The owner put menus in the bag despite the fact I told her I lived in North Carolina. perhaps she thought it was a suburb of Worcester. Anyhow, if I ever drive up there again, I will surely make a pit stop at Good Taste.

Good taste is now under new management so I decided to give them a shot an I’m glad I did the prices are still affordable and has good portion sizes. The general gous is not overly sweet and saucy like it used to be the new version was very tasty lightly sauced with spicy pepper flakes and orange zest. And the chicken fingers are now lightly breaded not super breaded like before. My food was very hot and crispy when it was delved. Was estimated to be 30mins got her in 40mins and the driver was very nice and respectable! Placing the order took awhile due to the lady heavy accent and trouble hearing but I would still order hear again for a cheaper Chinese lunch..

Went to this place tonight because it’s close by and I wanted to see how it was. Not impressed, to say the least. To sum up: Food: portions were not bad, but lo mein was way too salty, and half tge boneless ribs that came with my meal were all fat and had to be tossed. Price: Kinda expensive, not that you don’t get a lot, but it doesn’t help if half of it needs to be thrown away because it’s inedible. Service: the woman who took my order was rude, and her two little kids kept pointing, staring, and laughing at me while I was ordering(I just came fron the gym and was in shorts) even coming out from around the counter and laughing at me while I was waiting for my food. After they went back into the kitchen, I could see the cooks staring and laughing to the point that I was uncomfortable and moved out of their line of site. Very bizarre. Overall, since the food is only adequate and the service is horrible and downright uncomfortable, I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

When i moved to worcester this is the only Chinese food place, i ate from. I only order chicken fingers, fried(chicken) rice, and sometimes noodles… or a flavored chicken(sesame). The fried rice is my favorite because its actually stir fried– fresh chicken. in there. Not the already cooked, just refrigerated… then heated up again crap, lol. The chicken always has the crunch too it, ive never received it soggy. The white rice was too sticky for me to like, once, but it didn’t stop me from trying it again, and the problem was fixed. They are good if you don’t wanna cook for a night!

Horrible delivery time. Upon arrival I was hungry enough to eat almost anything. ALMOST. I ordered the Shichuan shredded beef and an order of crab rangoons. The rangoons were dried out and disgusting. Barely any filling at all. The entrée was bathed in the same non descript, bland sauce it seems most lazy Chinese take out joints get by the bucket. Neither spicy nor flavorful. The beef was a joke as there was barely a trace of meat in the dish. Instead a rather generous helping of canned chinese vegetables and wilted yellowing broccolli that had been reheated and drowned in the mystery sauce. Basically the entire entrée consisted of old vegetables and canned crap slathered in a pathetic excuse for shichuan sauce. I called and complained. I received no apology or offer to make this right. «I’ll tell my cook» was all I got before she hung up on me. I will NEVER eat at this place again and if I can save someone else the disappointment, aggravation, and the diarrhea by posting this I’ll be happy. Lazy service, very poor quality, ZERO integrity. Skip it.

I’ve been eating at Good Taste for a few years now, as they are the neighborhood spot for Chinese food. Pretty small place, with only 6 tables, but they do have a good take-out and delivery business. Drinks are limited, with a soda cooler behind the counter. Location could be in a better neighborhood, but I’ve been in worse. Parking on the street in front of the restaurant, or around corner on side street. Also small parking lot available, but people usually miss it. Basic Chinese menu, but they give you a lot and it’s pretty inexpensive, and they are ALWAYS open.
