This place is a kitchen and scrapbooking mecca. My first time going to a tent sale was last summer. I was in overload. I wanted everything and needed absolutely nothing. I walked out with a bag fool of goodies for a fraction of retail value. I’m kind of excited to go again this year. I walked out with silicone baking molds, cookie cutters, mixing bowls, cutting boards, parchment paper, party stuff all for like $ 30. It was garbage bag sized. It can be hot and crowded in the tent so beware if you’re claustrophobic. Even if you are its totally worth a visit!

I love the tent sale! You can get everything you ever wanted baking-wise at a fantastic discount. Seriously. There are some incredible deals! The women in my family have made it an annual tradition and have already made plans to come back again next year!

Plan to spend some time here. The tent is huge, the bargains also huge. Depending on when you go — parking can be a pain. You may get a space in a lot, or you may end up down the street by the school and walking 2 – 3 blocks back to Wilton. I’ve done both. This was my 5th year going. so I am used to the layout and I know where the things are that I want. For a first-timer it is overwhelming. There is SO much stuff — everything baking you can think of. Then there is scrapbooking stuff and other kitchen supplies as well. I have been here when it is not terribly crowded and when it is a «zoo». The tent gets hot! I almost passed out once. One year the line to check out was WAY outside the tent with wrap around ropes and it took over 2 hours to check out and it was a 90 degree day and I got really sick in the heat — so dress according to the weather! I have to say the people who drag their baby strollers through this are crazy & annoying. No — they are not using them to carry purchases — their kids are in them. The aisles are just not wide enough for carts and strollers going in both directions. Seriously — find a sitter — this place is no place for babies & small children. Carts tend to get scarce on the weekends, so bring something to haul your goods around in just in case. I bring a big IKEA blue bag with me — that keeps me in budget! If I can’t lift it — I can’t buy it. It is easy to spend alot because everything is SO cheap. This way I don’t mind when my BF breaks a spatula, melts a spoontula, ruins a broiler pan or cookie sheet — I can replace it inexpensively here. It is a great way to get all the baking supplies and frosting tips/bags., cake stands, boxes… all in one place and not break the bank. They have PLENTY of cash registers going(I swore I counted at least 20 one year), but check out can still take a long time — that gives you an idea of how crowded this sale gets(at least on Saturdays when I usually go). One minute there seems to be no line and you go back for«one last thing» then suddenly 50 people are in line! For those who have commented«It is alot of bakeware stuff…» Um, yeah. Wilton has been THE name in baking supplies, cake decorating for I can’t even count for how long. So it is NO shock or is should be NO shock at how much baking/cake decorating stuff is here at the sale. The other stuff is companies they have acquired along the way — gourmet pots/pans, crafting supplies… It is the WILTON sale — almost synonymous for baking…

The tent sale here is a MUST!!! I came here years ago after a co worker recommended I go to pick up odds and ends for my wedding… I ended up getting my guest book, champagne flutes, and all kinds of stuff!!! Since then, I’ve been going every year. What you will find here are long rows of discounted items in a tent outside Wilton. Items such as — Baking pans — every kind, you name it!!! You can even choose from almost 10 different kinds of cookie sheets! Cake Decorating — fondant, frosting, sprinkles galore, cupcake tins, etc. candles! Lots of scrapbooking items items for arts & crafts Other baking utensils Knife sets Tea kettles It’s just worth checking out… Depending on the time you go(it’s always in the summer) you may encounter extremely long lines but I went yesterday(Thursday) at 5:00 and it was the perfect time to go!

I have been coming here forever — this year I feel like its a ton of baking stuff and not much else for the Non-bakers of the world. Regardless, always fun stuff at great prices.

This is the Black Friday of baking goods sales. It’s crowded, you must come with your game face on and a list in hand. Because the deals here are BANANAS. Today was my first time going. Be prepared to park far out and walk. Bring your own cart or wagon because during busier times carts are few and far in between. When I entered the tent about an hour after it opened it was packed. Check out the areas where the line to check out leads. Save those areas to look at as you stand in line. Today the line to check to check out went all along the 1st and last row in the tent, so we could’ve done the middle lanes first. You’ll be waiting in line for quite a while, so you’ll have plenty time to check out those outer aisles. Dress appropriate for the weather. Today was 80+ degrees and it was hot. And wear a hat because although the sale is inside, some of the line is outside in the sun. Those deals… Wow! You’ll find baking sheets, cake/cupcake/cake pop molds of all kinds, cake decorating tools, stands, wedding items, knife sets, crafts and scrapbooking items. And I’ve barely scratched the surface, there’s SO much stuff! All for 40−75% off. This is DIY heaven. Some of my favorite finds today: Candy Melts:$ 2.06 per bag Nylon Tongs & Spoon:$ 1.74 each 1504″ lollipop sticks:$ 2.10 310″ cake circles:$ 3.15 14″ icing bag:$ 3.57 Get ye to the tent sale!

Annual tent sale, check it out! Better than using a 40% off coupon at the store for just 1 item, all items here are on sale:) I bought tons of stuff for cupcakes! I like to save buy by the bulk! Pro: Good discounts better than going to Hobby Lobby and Michael’s Rows and rows of stuff. Cons: no AC summer time hot tent on a parking lot, tons of people shopping worst on weekends unless you go 1st thing in the AM.
