They always say hello when I walk in. Every isle is very well stocked. Employees are very cortious. Prices are as expected little more then anywhere else.

Location, location, location. I liked the Walgreens better when it was on Janes/83rd; now it’s on a busy corner, and the help there now isn’t what it used to be. It’s nice that it’s new and they have good hours /drive through service, but it’s certainly not the best store in the chain. I’m sure the recession has hurt their ability to properly staff it. I am no longer using this Walgreens, and I’m going to transfer my prescriptions. Tell me: why do they offer an automatic refill service that’s not ready when I need it? Their computer called twice in the past week saying I had a prescription ready to pick up, but I still had some tablets left and didn’t pick them up until the end of that week. I get in line at the drive-thru(STRIKEONE — their drive thru is S L O W), and when I get there the kid(STRIKETWO — the pharmacy techs are useless) said I didn’t have one ready. So I explained everything, only for him to retort«well, when you don’t pick up your prescription in seven days, we return it to the shelf.» But it had only been five days. I return 45 minutes later only to learn that the prescription they tried filling was denied by my insurance. Why? Because they were trying to fill the wrong prescription! 2 hours later I finally had the correct medicine. STRIKETHREE! The most challenging aspect is the parking situation; not the store’s fault, but everyone flies around corners and cuts across the lot from the other end of the strip mall, making it a hazard as both a driver and a pedestrian. SLOWDOWN! Of course, it’s there as a convenience, and so they’ll charge accordingly for it. To me, being too pricey is an inconvenience, even if they’re just down the block.

This brand new store replaces the one at 83rd and Janes. Right now it is very clean and I hardly had to wait at all for someone to come to the camera department so I could drop off my film. This time, I checked the photos before I left the store and everything I had ordered was there. Parking is abundant but access off Janes can be a challenge and you can only turn in from eastbound 75th.
