The Nest at Wild Wings Golf Club

This restaurant is open to the public. The Nest is a VERY simple restaurant set near the first tee of the Wild Wings Golf Course. The view of the big old oak tree in the middle of the fairway is gorgeous. There is a patio, where you can bring your pets. The food here has always been really good. The burgers and sandwiches are substantial and very yummy. On Thursday nights, dinner is served buffet style with your choice of one of three entrees. Recently, the menu offered a smoked/​BBQ Prime Rib that was to die for. Seriously, it tasted even better than the most popular steak house in the county. I’ve had porkchops, ribeye steak and salmon and all have been delicious. The price is $ 14.95 for Prime Rib and $ 11.95 for the other entrees and you get locally grown mixed veggies, fruit, garlic bread, scallop potatoes and a chocolate chip cookie. Wine and beer is also available. The only drawback is the hours of operation are limited, so check out the website and call first for Thurday night dinner. If this place grows in popularity they can expand the hours of operation, which would make me really happy! LOL.
