Went to pick up my food to-go. Came home to find the Caesar Salad with no dressing and no dressing on the side. Got my boyfriend the steak and argues sandwich and that was really good.

Make sure you check first that they have coffee before you place your order. Otherwise the wait isn’t worth it.

Food here is okay. It’s Panera, so if you’ve been to a Panera, you’ve been to them all. However, I was at the Village tonight around 8:30 and decided to stop by thinking they were open till at least 9 and they closed at 8. but all the doors were still unlocked from the outside and was greeted by someone who just looked at me at said they were closed. The question is: why would you close at 8 when ALL of the other restaurants in the vicinity are open till 10 or later?

First time at this location, brought my grandma here because Panera always puts her in a better mood. The cashier was nice and patient as I helped my grandma decide on what she wanted. Our food was brought out not long after I made my grandma tea and sat down. I ordered a half of a turkey & kale panini with the tomato soup which I love. My grandma had half a greek salad with half a turkey sandwich that I forgot to tell them to grill. I was going to order another one for her but when I told Haley(unsure if she was a supervisor or not) she was super cool about having another one made at no charge despite it being my own fault. She also grabbed some dressings for my grandma because she didn’t like the dressing that came with her salad and again, Haley was nothing but pleasant. A smile and a good attitude goes a long way and the employees at this Panera seem to be doing a great job. I’m not a huge fan of The Village but I am of Panera. Looking forward to eating there again!

Great clean & new location. It’s a location where I’d love to sit inside or take in the sights/sounds of the Village on their patio. Food here is always fresh and tasty. The hardest decision I have to make is just what I want as everything looks fantastic. I feel bad for people behind me in line because I know they’re waiting for my to make up my mind.(Sorry, guys. I swear I know what I want before I go to the register. I just always second guess myself!) Customer service is fantastic here. It’s good at all location, but the employees here always seem extra happy & eager to help you. I’ve come here in an attempt to get out of my crappy office and they always put a smile on my face. Thank you immensely for that! It’s like therapy AND a great lunch.

Panera is always a great place to go when you know the food you are getting is made with care and with quality ingredients. This particular Panera opened ahead of all of the other restaurants on the area causing it to be very busy. Since then fewer people eat here so it is easy to find a nice quiet corner to eat or visit with friends. The atmosphere is quiet most of the time. During lunch hours it can get a little noisy. The floors and tables are clean most of the time and when they aren’t you can find one of their associates actively wiping tables or sweeping the floors. I recommend this café for any of your meals or even just a coffee and dessert.

Stopped in and ordered a Caesar salad with a ham and swiss sandwich. Salad had a small amount of dressing(not mixed in as customary). I was going to ask for more dressing but sandwich came. Sandwich not as described by cashier — bread had seeds and had to send it back. When it came back it didn’t have cheese. 3 strikes. Got a refund and left.

This location is adjacent to the costco. Great location, however the only thing that would somewhat limit the customers is Parking. So depending on what day you come, be prepared to find parking. The first hour is free., I was greeted right away as I entered, always nice to be acknowledged with a genuine smile. The layout to this location brings you right to the front counter of their muffins and pastries, so you know your going to look and bye some. Maybe to go or eat in. The carrot cake cupcake was delicious with a nice hot cup of coffee. There’s plenty of outlets for your laptops and or phones to charge throughout the store. Yes they have Wi-Fi.Nice little spot here in the Village. Overall had a good visit and also like the new look of the interior. As a new customer is just stay consistent on your food Quality, service and cleaningness of your location. 008⁄100 Unilocal Challenge.(2016)

Been to a few different locations of planets all the same honestly. Came here and got the half steak and arugula sandwich and a half broccoli and cheese soup. The sandwich wasn’t anything special and my soup wasn’t that hot. The things are overpriced honestly. The customer service was great thought nice people work here and it’s not that crowded: come here to do so work or something and sit in the back. 3 starts because it’s basic nothing new. Not a bad place.

Tuna sandwich with chicken soup, might as well just buy the sandwich at 7 Eleven. I’ll give it another try if I’m starved and there is nothing around for miles. But, the meal was a waste of calories

This is a nice and new Panera location and I stopped in only for coffee, so I can’t speak of the rest yet. Plenty of seating and not too full when we stopped in. Clean and well stocked, staff was nice as well. Blended mocha and caramel were both great, tasty and made quickly. Prices are a bit high for what you get, but it was fine and hit the spot while shopping in the area.

I walked over here and had a sandwich. The menu at this location is lacking the descriptions other location have. I had to ask for the printed menu to find the sandwich I usually order at other locations. I then asked the person behind the counter why the prices were about 30% higher than to other locations. Her reply«Because we make $ 15 an hour.» There are too many other Panera’s around to waste my time and money here.

So far, I love coming to Panera Bread in this location. The customer service is great, the food is always fresh. Love their coffee too. The reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 is because when I came in there, they don’t have enough foods to sell for breakfast. I came at 8:30 am and their soufflé are gone. I hope they will make more effort to make the business runs better. And I hope they realize that using melanin plate is not safe at all for microwave. They should understand this issue since they are in the food industry. Overall I should say I still love the environment. Always bring my friends over here to chat.

Gave this location another try… First visit, about a week after opening… Coffee was nearly clear(watery), need to train new staff on standard concentration. The person at the counter did not know the menu and said they do not have several items that they do have, it took a more seasoned employee to finally step forward and acknowledge that those items are on their menu. A nice young man attempted to refill the half-n-half, but it took about ten minutes; I thought he was probably out milking a cow in back when he returned with a broken creamer container and explained that since it broke he can’t refill it; I had to plead to have the paper half gallon container for a moment so I could add some to my coffee. Broken light fixture above the beautiful natural tree shaped high table, and huge gouge out of the nice wood slab of the free-form table. Ok, they are new, needs lots of training, and clearly weren’t ready to open yet. 2nd visit. Now they have been opened a month, we gave it another try. Coffee is still nearly clear; did they still not train staff on how to make the coffee with consistency? Asked for something to be warmed, and I was reminded that this location has a microwave below the coffee counter and«customers need to warm their own food»; how did I forget this on my first visit. BTW, plates are melamine plastic and do not fit on the small rotating train in their microwave. Should we tell them that melamine breaks after several trips in the microwave, not to mention health issues!!! The cashier had great difficulty taking an order for a plain turkey sandwich, she was not sure that it is on the menu??? They have a paper sign taped to each register explaining they raised their prices but the new menu boards have not arrived yet, so the menu boards do not reflect the new prices –REALLY, they couldn’t wait to raise the prices til the new menu boards were installed. Overall, nice looking location, nice outdoor seating as well. I’m shocked by this location. I like the Northridge location, inconsistent customer service, but have always had decent coffee concentrations and the staff heat the food for you. The Westlake location has good customer service and also good coffee and customers are not asked to heat the food themselves.

I LOVE Panera and I am so glad there is one closer to my house now! It’s in the Village, closest to the Victory Blvd. entrance — almost in-between Crate & Barrel and Costco. BUT… 1) They do NOT validate for parking. Big thumbs down. 2) Service is slow — on a Saturday, they only had 1 register open. We waited about 10 minutes just to order. Then, while we’re ordering, the employee is making awkward small talk(no wonder it would take forever for 1 person just to put in their order to him). Then it seems like forever for our food to come, even though there aren’t many people in the restaurant(aka, no wonder there aren’t many people in the restaurant). The no-parking validation is a big put-off – there are many other restaurants in the Village to get lunch, and they’ll validate.

Came in super excited because this new location is watching distance to my place. VERYFREAKENDISAPPOINTED. Ordered our food at 7:45pm 1) 7:55pm our first place comes. They apologize that they ran out of Autumn Squash and wasn’t told until the rest of the food was delivered so was hard to make changes to the new item we wanted. 2) Never got our French Baguette. 3) 8:00pm second meal came(just soup, sandwich missing) 4) 8:15pm the sandwich arrived 5) no silverware for the soup and salad so picked them up and all of them were filthy dirty from the dishwasher. Yuck. I love Panera Bread and often cater for my work but never again will use this location.

Panera has always been a favorite of mine! So glad they finally opened one by me! This is my first time at this location. It’s a little off the beaten page at the Village, closer to Costco and Crate and Barrel. The inside shape of the floor plan is much different than any that I’ve been to so it lends itself to awkward seating. There seems to be less carpet so the noise level is more elevated than the usual Panera. Seating selection is not a cozy — there are no comfy chairs and no fireplace but there’s free wifi so that’s great! I ordered the Pick 2 — half BLT turkey avocado sandwich and a cup of chicken wild rice soup with water and a piece of French baguette. Everything was delicious and fresh as usual! The area of critique that gets the highest rating is the service. The gal at the register was kind and everyone that came to our table to check on us and clear our plates was superb. One gentleman came to our table and offered each of us a loaf of their delicious French baguette. Of course, we accepted! Overall, I thought the experience deserved 3.5 stars(a little low because of the noise level, the lack of fireplace and comfy seating) but I bumped it up to 4 because of the customer service, which is almost everything to me!

Visited this morning for the grand opening and there was already a line at 6 a.m. before doors opened. Staff was friendly and had a delicious egg and turkey sausage sandwich. Eager to return soon for lunch and dinner. It’s conveniently open at the north end of The Village across the driveway from Costco and near Crate + Barrel.
