Used to be a great place 20 years ago, but under different management. Staff is friendly enough as in polite and pleasant, but the actual service is pretty bad. They don’t seem to be concerned about it. Broken soda machine for months, apparently not enough potato salad for the lunch crowd(which I don’t understand b/c I generally get there around 11;30 and it’s not that crowded and this happened to me 4 or 5 times before I gave up trying to ever order it… it“s actually pretty good if you can get your hands on it… but to top it off — the very last sandwich I ordered was not up to my memory of «a Howie sandwich»). Moved on to a different lunch spot.

DONTEATHERE!!! Guy that manages it is human garbage. Not to mention a thief and a liar. Food has gone way downhill and now they’ve raised the prices. I’d avoid this place and go almost anywhere else. We really need to put this loser out of business and get some real food in there run by someone reputable.

My new favorite spot to order lunch! I can walk over on my lunch break and have no problem getting back in time. The food is always fresh and delicious. My favorite is the grilled vegetable salad, but my coworker raves about their garden burger and lentil soup. Mustvtry, especially if you live or work near by

Had lunch here today. Pretty quiet inside for lunch time. The place is a bit disorganized like they tried several ideas and just left the machines in place. I hope I didn’t interupt the guy behind the counter with the horribly gawdy jewelry when I wanted to order. He was very busy on his cell phone and he remained on the phone for the next three customers too. The sandwich, turkey panini, was very good, the fries were over cooked and the fountain drink machine is out of order. This place needs to get it together or they will not be around for very long.

The sandwiches are very good and so is the burger. I like that they lightly toast the bread for the sandwich and they do not overcook the bacon at all. The price is very reasonable. The restaurant itself is pretty unassuming, but you’re probably not paying for the ambiance. Although its in a building with tinted windows, but it does not face the sun, which can make it a little dark inside during the day. Overall good food and good pricing, which is hard to find these days.

If reliability in the morning is what you’re looking for. This is not the place. Sometimes they are open at 7, sometimes 8. The food is good though and the service is friendly. I just wish they were dependable!

My chicken pesto panini came out fast, fresh, and hot(ordered just after 12:00pm on a weekday). I appreciate the fact the price includes a side. The sweet potato fries had plenty of flavor just like the sandwich. I would definitely go back if I forget my lunch of need a break from my usual food. I’m not sure how long the soda machine has been down. Update(11/12/2015): the soda machine is STILL down

We came thinking this was the famous Howard’s Jewish deli that was here or years. It’s still called Howard’s but is under new management and unfortunately is heading downhill. They were out of ingredients, the soda machine was broken, the pastries looked like they were out of prepackaging, the coffee bar was closed down and the service was lacking. The customer is always right and they did not adhere to that principal. The place is falling apart and the ambiance is gone. We came at prime lunch hour and walked in to an empty restaurant. This place used to have a line out the door! Another tip would be to put more than one piece of meat on your Reuben. Previous pictures posted were from the previous owner. Don’t be deceived.

My usual is their Heart Healthy breakfast sandwich. Egg whites and tomato on wheat bread. As simple as it is, it’s so good. Their omelets are good too. They come with your choice of bread and a side of seasonal fruit.

The service has improved a lot since they hired one more person. Maybe they’re not as stressed out or busy. They do have several new dishes as well which are decent. I really like the sandwiches such as the chicken club or the turkey avocado sandwich. They’re $ 7.50 but they’re good and they’re large portions so that makes the price worth it. It might even last you two meals! Take advantage of their Friday pizza special too! Seems to be popular around the Warner Center. The BBQ chicken pizza is very good and I always see people with boxes of the stuff on Fridays.

Great food at low prices. I highly recommend the Howard’s breakfast burrito. It’s honestly the best breakfast burrito I’ve had in Los Angeles. The salads are also really good.

What Happened to this place? I used to go to Howard’s Deli when it was on Topanga Blvd. and was run by Howard and his wife. The food and service was excellent. When they moved to Warner Center, they kept the same fine quality of food and service. I have not been there for a few years and the other day my wife and I stopped there for lunch. Not even close. I had what«they» called a Reuben sandwich. The rye bread tasted funny and was still shaking from when they sacred it with the pastrami. The place resembles a fast food joint instead of a deli and the food is about the same quality. I won’t be going back.

This is my go to salad place because its walking distance from work and the salads are yummy! They are not skimpy on the salads either. You can add chicken for $ 1.75 and you get a good amount of protein. My favorite salad is the pear and arugula salad. I have yet to try the Friday Pizzas which I hear is awesome!

Okay. I’ve tried 3 days in a row. Very dissapointing. Ordered a Reuben. It came without sauerkraut, I asked where it was. They told me they were out. Wtf? Then you let me know before paying and waiting 10 minutes and now there’s a line. Just pisses me off. There food just isn’t up to the price or the hassle.

Howard’s used to be a great place to eat but lately it’s gone downhill. They haven’t been able to get a phone order right in months, every single time. This morning we ordered 3 Howard’s Breakfast Burritos. They sent 3 regular burritos which are so bland they taste like a plain un-toasted egg bagel. Just awful. We called back and they said that they’re no longer serving breakfast so call back tomorrow. I’m sorry but what? Did the eggs run away?

They claim to deliver for free within a 1 miles radius. I called to place an order and before I can finish they said they don’t deliver that far. What a JOKE

Had reason to be at Warner Center and had lunch here. Stood in line with 4 other people for slightly over 5 minutes(clock is on the wall) before anyone even came out of the back. The fellow behind the counter knew the name of the first customer. The first customer got the wrong salad dressing and wanted the dressing he ordered. The fellow behind the counter knew the name of the second customer. She had received the wrong«To Go» order. We ordered. I ordered the hamburger no onions. and tater tots, my friend the GardenBurger. Almost 15 minutes later our order was ready. However, my burger tasted funny and my friends GardenBurger crumbled apart in the bun when it was picked up. The tater tots were perfect; golden brown and crunchy. The burger tasted funny because of the onion they put in the meat. Needless to say an hour later I was sick. When someone orders«No Onions» there is a reason. This place does a lot of repeat business judging by the number of people the fellow at the counter recognized. But MANY of them were bringing orders back because their order was done wrong. One surmises the business they do is with a captive audience.
