I love their salmon plate, although it is a relatively new addition to their menu, I will have that at least once a week, while having their Greek chicken salad alternately. The staff here is always friendly, and have noticed that they are on a first name basis with their regular customers. I love their salad dressing and the green chili sauce. Always a great addition as well as their hummus. Keep up the great work!

Decided to give this place a try when I spotted it from the road. I had the chicken house kabob plate. The quality wasn’t that great. The chicken wasn’t very tasty and the brown rice was a bit soggy. I don’t think I’ll try it again.

I’ve been coming here at least once a week for the past year and I’ve order the lemon chicken plate every single time! It’s the tastiest, most satisfying meal all the while being super healthy. Their portions are good and the quality of their food is spectacular! Well worth the price($ 10.99). And let’s not forget the friendly staff… I’m always greeted on my way in and out of the restaurant and they’re always happy to cater to any of their customer’s request with a smile on their faces. Overall, this place is GREAT!!!

Stuff here is on the pricey side and it has the quality of stuff that’s been frozen. I don’t feel like anything is made fresh.

HORRIBLEEXPERIENCE!!! Even 1 star is extremely generous. AFTER2HOURSOFWAITINGFORDELIVERY1.2 miles away, «Bebe» who claimed to be a manager, said it’ll take another 30 minutes. Couldn’t even compensate for the extreme inconvenience. She Offered a credit for the NEXT visit but we’ll never order from this place again after the horrible experience. So there’s a coupon up for grabs everyone!

Recently tasted their Jalapeño hummus at a festival and really enjoyed it, so decided to visit this place and give it a try… We went at around 5:00pm on a Saturday afternoon… the place was dead… super quite… not a problem though… Cashier and their crew were there pretty bored, but were nice in serving up the food. Tried their gyro pita combo which came with fries and a drink, and a small order of the Jalapeño Hummus… – Gyro was delicious! Hot, fresh, and filling! – Fries were not so good… some of the fries were cold… – Soda fountain was the usual… – Jalapeño Hummus was off the hook! Love the spicy hit of jalapeño mixed with the creamy texture of hummus… couldn’t stop eating this! – Pita bread wasn’t good… it was too thick and dry…(the gyro however was deliciously fluffy) They had a side sauce bar, tried their salsa, onion with sumac mix, and avocado spicy salsa… all were pretty good!(The avocado salsa really stood out) Pros: Large portion for decent price! Large parking area! Not crowded! Cons: Place needs a facelift… got a hole on top of the ceiling. Workers were cleaning the place but still looked and feels old and dirty… Just a slight general makeover would make this place much better. Jalapeño hummus was a bit expensive but I gotta have it… Overall, I would go back again for the gyro and the hummus!

This place is my go to place for lunch or dinner. The lemon chicken plate is my favorite. They have the option for brown rice which is perfect. It’s delicious. I don’t leave here feeling bloated like j ate too much. I leave full but I leave feeling like I had a healthy good tasting meal. Love it.

Ordered the lemon chicken plate. Which is supposed to be their most popular dish. Now I see why. It comes with grilled chicken, a creamy lemon sauce on the side, warm pita bread, salad and I had brown rice with mine. I added a cup of hummus. It was very well made and delicious and healthy. I will definitely be back. The reason why I did not give it five stars is because it could have been cleaner inside. Tables were messy even though it wasn’t crowded. Customer service was very friendly.

This spot is good for what they advertise: gyro meat! I get the gyro meat well done with extra taziki sauce brown rice and hummus. Hummus is really good and smooth. The chicken is very good too. You can get it as a side and you have a filling meal! They have pickled veggies out. They are decent and you can munch on them while you wait for your food.

Ordering online was very easy. Delivery was faster than expected. The beef pita sandwich was delicious. Very moist and tender with a ton of flavor. I ordered a side of hummus. It didn’t come with pita, which surprised me. The falafels are a little too dry for my liking. I’d try them again in a pita wrap. The food is good and delivery is fast. I’d order from them again.

I have been eating here since they opened. The lemon chicken is to die for! Hint: you can ask the side sald to be «greek style» which is feta, tomatoes, and Italian dressing with olives. Hint: They offer whole wheat pita Hint 3: get extra lemon sauce its insane! Order ahead they get BUSY!

I came here to pick up dinner for my boyfriend and I. We both had the Greek salad… One with chicken, one without. I love the Wilshire location… They never disappoint so I figured I would give this one a try. The service and staff were great but the quality of food was incredibly poor. 1⁄3 of our salads was salad greens that had already spoiled… They were brown and mushy and I didn’t figure it out until after I had tasted it… Gross. What a let down! I think I’ll stick to the Wilshire location in the future.

AVOID. $$$ and really bad. The food was meh cold and rubbery. I basically ended up extremely gassy after I ate California Pita’s sorry version of koobideh which was closer to frozen hamburger patties than middle eastern food. The hummus was spot on but that’s where it ends, my salad was over dressed not fresh and inedible. They messed up on my friends order, she asked for the salad dressing on the side and they smothered her wilted salad in dressing. Huge open restaurant cafeteria like, but no one was inside dining. Really awkward set up. Soda fountain broken. Weird vibes. When I ordered my food over the phone the person sounded very confused and unsure. All the above is alone is just the tip of the iceberg. The biggest mistake they made which truly boils my blood was being charged $ 30.50 for literally two plates and a small side of hummus. I asked him to give me the break down since I couldn’t believe why it should cost 30.50 for something that should at most cost 16.99. He said it was $ 11 for each plate, ok there’s two that’s $ 22 and the hummus was $ 3, ok that’s a total of $ 25 you’re telling me that the tax was $ 5.50? really? Since when did California’s tax become 20%? I’m pretty sure California’s sales tax is hovering around 10%. I was going to ask him to correct the tax amount and give me the difference back but I just honestly don’t think he even realized there was a problem nor did the others. He was absolutely clueless. No wonder how they’ve stayed in business for twenty years or so their banner claims, it seems to be that they are overcharging on taxes.

I’ve been to this place quite a few times this past year, and I must say it’s the best for Mediterranean food. I always order the beef kabob plate, which is amazing. I recently ordered the lemon chicken plate which was good too, but the chicken was a little dry. Although I do love their hummus, it’s awesommmmeee!!! It’s pretty relaxed on Sunday’s, the place doesn’t get too crowded and it’s always kept very clean. The only reason I knock off one star is because of their pricing. I do think they could lower it by just a little considering it’s not the biggest portion. Either way I will still come here! :)

Decent food to grab for lunch when in the area. The dining room comes equipped with 20+ tables so that once you order your food you can«dine in». The parking is a bit of a challenge during the lunch hour, however, anytime after that(weekends, evenings) I believe you will be fine finding parking. The parking lot is shared with a few other restaurants and Western Bagel right next door. Their plates will run you no less then $ 10 per person(which can be a bit pricey for lunch). However, I recommend their lemon chicken plate. I’ve tried their grilled chicken kabob and was not a fan. However, their Pita Bread is always nice. You may order for delivery but during lunch hours delivery takes awhile and there is a cost minimum. The staff is normally friendly. They greet you«hello» when you arrive and«goodbye» when you leave. Challenges: **Parking is a struggle during rush peak hours ** Lunch will run you $ 10 with no drink and $ 12 with a drink ** Not good for groups(seats 4 ppl max at a table) Tips to keep in mind **located right off the 101 freeway **Great for lunch. Possibly a quick bite to eat for dinner **They don’t carry splenda

Great family restaurant. What just won me over as I sit here was the elder man(owner or family of owner) walked a plate to a table and was as friendly as one could be with a little boy. Plus My lemon chicken was delicious!

I’ve been to California Pita a handful of times in the last 10 years and every time I get the same: Chicken Pita with lemon yogurt sauce and mini hummus. Mini Hummus Chicken Pita Lemon yogurt sauce The chicken is good, it is moist and flavorful, love their yogurt sauce that comes with. The pita is where they need to make some changes, it’s too dry and falls apart. CP is in the same shopping center as Sprouts, next door to Western Bagel.
