The standard for what a delicatessen once was and should be… Clean and spotless like the traditional German delis of yesteryear… Top quality meats and salads and delicious hot meals… The staff always clean cut and presentable…

Can’t believe I have not reviewed Manor before… Love this place. 100% old school school German delicatessen. Awesome sandwiches, salads and baked goods. Egg salad and corned beef hero personal favorites. Also really like the health salad(non mayo slaw type) and chick pea salad. Get breakfast sandwiches here like 4 days a week. Great spot.

OOOH La-LA! European food the way it used to be! This German deli reminds me of the terrific European delis that once populated western Queens. Great pastrami and hot corned beef — terrific salads(German potato salad is great), terrific desserts(custards and black forest cake) wonderful wursts. Sad that places like this are so rare when we are inundated with inferior food joints that are either Latin, Indian or Caribbean. Manor deli is quality food, home made by people who know how to cook and don’t skimp on the ingredients. Give it a try — like the Terminator, you will be back!

Family members have been going here for many many years. The food here is as great as it was back in the 70’s. If you want excellent home cooked & or deli items this is the place to go if you are in the area.

This is where it all started, if you’ve been to Manor Oktoberfest in Atlas Park or their place in Forest Hills. Immaculate shop with great food, coffee, service at this old world German Deli. Reminds me of Forest Hills’ long since closed Koch & Nord, for those old timers that remember it.

I used to love this place. Unfortunately, they don’t listen to what you want on your sandwiches. I got annoyed the first few times that they forgot the cheese but now they’re forgetting cheese and adding tomatoes and lettuce. I’m highly allergic to tomatoes so I can’t even pick them off the bread. I will no longer be shopping here since messing orders up is becoming habit.

Best deli in all of Woodhaven if not the whole Queens. I have clients from all of NYC and Long Island and a lot of them have heard of and got food at Manor Deli. Food is always fresh, always delicious and the staff is friendly and hard working. Bring back boneless ribs! …please? :)

They left the Bratwurst sign up and they were sold out, drat! Twas the point of my lunch rendezvous, but not to worry, with all of the delicious lunch choices Manor Deli offers, such circumstances are no grounds to fret Freshly prepared crab cakes of which I bought two, shrimp salad, mac and cheese, German potato salad were the sides I had to buy, its been over six months last visit, I need to make up for list time. I subbed out the Brat for the pastrami on rye, I love that sandwich so much I did not feel the slightest bit disappointed. The Shrimp Salad, mayonnaise was different, kinda creamy, kinda sweet, the xtra celery is alway a nice touch. The Mac & Cheese, a little bland but not booring. Problem with mac n cheese in general is, theres only ok and best, this was not the latter. The Chick Pea Salad, didn’t seem homemade, still good, prob outta the can with fresh cut peppers. The Cab Cake, decient but definately imitation crab meat.

Good fresh food. Nice people. I really love the roast beef. Their clear cole slaw is awesome. Everything I have had there is good.

Do not order the pastrami sandwich. It was about 50 percent fat and the sandwich was so thin I swear it was on crack. I get a much better pastrami sandwich from the corner bodega. Never again!!!

Order lunch here last week at 10:30. Food didn’t show up until 12:45. My lunch time at work was over at 12:15, and they promised multiple times it would be there by 12. Food is great but don’t order if you are in any kind of rush. And don’t call to complain because they get nasty.

Fantastic food. Now if the management would get it through to their employees that it’s not appropriate to ask female customers if they«want to party», the overall experience will be far more pleasant.

Located on busy Jamaica Avenue near Woodhaven Blvd is a German deli that has been for a long time. At one time in NYC, there were tons of German Delis and now are fewer and fewer. Manor Deli still makes food the old German way, from meats, to black forest cake, to salads. The service is excellent and the place is very clean. Before you leave, grab a small jello, pudding or custard in one of those little tins. For those of a certain age, It will remind you of the past.

Moving to queens recently I have had a little bit of cultural shock. yes there are alot more condensed areas to shop and the food overall is probably better mostly because of the amount of quality eats to area their in, However the one thing that was missing was a very good deli. Long Island has tons of delis that serve fresh cold cuts and home made pastas and food made to order with wide selections to choose from. Queens however seems to be inhabited by nothing but bodegas which are fine to get some quick groceries and stuff for the house but the tiny little slicer in the corner leaves alot to be desired in the sandwich department. When I walked into Manor I felt like I was home. The typical site of a long deli station filled with meats and cheeses from one end of the store to the other almost made my knees weak. They make their own fresh macaroni and potato salads which are extremely good as well as all the other salds(egg tuna etc) They have fresh meals you can order to take home and the prices for the sandwiches are very low but the quality is always fresh. Manor Deli made settling into Queens so much easier.
