Thought the experience was ok until half an hour later I found myself running to the bathroom.

Definitely not the best sushi I’ve ever had but far from the worst. If you order from the kitchen instead picking up from the tray, is super fresh. Stuff in the tray not so much. Better than a lot of other much more expensive and fancy places I’ve been. Super cool looking, good to go with friends or family visiting.

Sushi was okay. Service was horrendous. We were one of two groups in there. Drinks weren’t refilled and it took the hostess 20 minutes to bring the check after we asked her for it.

We were excited for sushi conveyor belt experience having been to some sushi boat joints around the country. This misses the mark. The sushi is sliver thin with too much rice. Not enough selection. Incredibly overpriced. For instance, a plate with 4 pieces of spicy tuna roll is $ 4.50. We usually pay $ 5.50 to $ 7 for a full roll cut into 8 pieces. Service was attentive but clueless about the menu.

If you are a sushi lover, please don’t go to Yo Sushi, it’s over priced and the food was over cooked. The sushi wasn’t fresh and the rice was hard on the rolls. We walk out of this place so disappointed.

Great selection of sushi, sashimi and other japanese dishes. Its fun to pick the sushi from the conveyor, however I prefer my sushi freshly prepared, so just order directly from the server. The server didnt get us water and orders were missing, so we order directly from the kitchen. Food was good but service was horrible.

I’m not new to sushi or conveyor belt sushi. Conveyor belt sushi(like the place in the Palisades Mall) is usually pretty awful and defines unfresh sushi. Yo sushi is decorated like a frozen yogurt shop in bright colors. It’s so bright you just think of unicorns with rainbows flying out of their rear ends. The sushi however is very fresh. The conveyor belt has a small selection of things coming around but you can get anything off the menu if you hit the button to call the waiter. My only 2 Complaints is that it’s cramped and uncomfortable and it’s SUPER expensive for the amount of sushi you are getting. I guess you are paying for the experience/convenience but it’s no cheaper than going to a high end sushi joint and ordering rolls. If you are at Woodbury Commons and don’t Mind paying the price I do recommend it.

OK so hubby and I went to woodbury commons to shop around and noticed since last time we went there’s a food court of a handful of restaurants that seemed appetizing … We normally drive back to Jersey and eat locally but after seen YOSUSHI advertising ramen noodle soup … It just sounded perfect for a cold Saturday afternoon. So upon entering we noticed that it was full of color and food going around in circles like if it was a train and train tracks … U know what I mean??? Use your imagination…(a belt circling around with food but I’ll just call it train track) So we get greeted sit down and we are basically told if u like what u see, grab it if not open up the menu and place an order. Simple enough right??? Anyway I was like a kid in a candy store, grabbing everything and putting it back shhhhh don’t say anything lol… The stuff on the«train tracks» was ehhhh not so appealing after closer look…(Alot of the sushi seemed to had been circling around for hours, and the other goodies like Japanese sodas and desserts were just there for decoration) So at this point I open up the menu… Ramen noodle soup it is… Disappointed… Ramen noodle soup was no where in sight… I looked to the door to see if it was safe to run but couldn’t because at this point my husband had grabbed several items from the«train tracks», not the greatest.(I kept seeing people walking in and leaving as soon as they got seated, I should of done the same, maybe they got disappointed because of false ramen noodles soup advertisement) He grabbed bbq chicken sushi who’s idea was it? And what possessed my husband to grab it? Spicy tuna rolls … Well next The best item was the fried dumplings which I normally don’t get. Anyway, everything is priced by the color of the bowl and once everything is added up is not even worth it. And of course the best items are the most priciest ones… Overall staff was great, food was mediocre,(had better sushi at gas stations) will I come back? Only if they actually have ramen noodle soup…

What a terrible place! Conveyor belt food is awful. It looks old and other people pick the plates up and examine them before putting them back. Ew! The service is horrendous. Four different people tried to take our order. Couldn’t get outta here fast enough!

Conveyor belt sushi!!! If you’re not familiar with this its basically you picking up plates of food items going around the restaurant on a conveyor belt and you’re charged per plate according to the colours of the dish itself. You may also order the dishes from servers of what you want doesn’t get to you on the belt. They are located inside the Woodbury Outlet Mall by the area of Shake Shack. They serve sake, soda, beer, wine etc They’re food was fresh and my standards. The design was nicely done with a bit of fusion taste. The servers were kind and nice. They order through a touch screen device instead of traditional paper and pen. They’re a chain so the quality cannot go wrong. The food was actually good and they are small portions mean you get to try more things.

Very new, sushi not terrible, conveyer belt is a little weird and seemed like the food was old, service was pretty bad. Wouldn’t recommend, a typical Japanese restaurant would be a better option.

TLDR– The good: Atmosphere, Staff, Facility The bad: Food I’d recommend ordering rolls and other foods off the menu because what goes around on the conveyor belt is limited to some drinks, vegetable and fried foods. Salmon sashimi was scarce and the tuna sashimi didn’t look too appealing. Their tempura was crisp, salmon fresh and not too thin. Their green tea was gritty as they use powder not leaves. Yo! Sushi is a British franchise that I’ve visited once before in England. I like the concept but the conveyor belt food doesn’t do it for me. We intended to eat at Shake Shack but their line was out the door. If you want Japanese you’re better off hitting up a typical sushi joint somewhere else.
