Closed Sunday and Monday. Also closed intermittently when the mood strikes. The best part is if you call the store there is no message machine with hours. If they don’t pick up better to assume they don’t work that day.

Love this place! The people are friendly and helpful. The selection is huge and the prices are very reasonable, plus they have sales all the time

Initially I was also torn about this place. As the previous reviewer mentioned, there is yarn haphazardly scattered all over the place. After a second visit, I have been won over! And here is why: — If you embrace the implied attributes of it’s name«Yarn Barn», I think you will like this place. It’s like a barn full of treasures that you just dig through to find wonderful surprises! Seriously though, the more time you have the better. If you are the type of person that loves digging through things, this is your yarn store! If not, you could just ask. — Wide selection of yarn colors and prices with a large sale section. I appreciate this as a graduate student! Their store is much larger than many yarn stores. — Pretty sure they offer a 10% discount to local college students(just saw this on their sites). It may only be for the holidays. — The people who work there are so passionate about yarn and can appreciate a really beautiful skein — Many knitted samples to inspire you! — Clay Date and Starbucks are next door in case you need to keep family members busy for your yarn perusing :) Some drawbacks: — The lighting isn’t awesome so sometimes it’s hard to see what is going on — It’s kind of hard to get out of the parking lot Anyways, it’s worth a visit and you can find some amazing things — just don’t expect a perfectly organized store!

The owner is very rude. I asked about a gift certificate I received for Christmas and lost. She said that they don’t keep track of them. The place is also disorganized and cluttered. It is difficult to find what you are looking for. I won’t be back

I’m torn about this store. They have a wonderful, overwhelming selection of yarn, but the way everything is displayed and in such a cramped, untidy fashion, it makes it chore to find what you’re looking for or be inspired by new yarns. Each time I’ve gone in there I leave thinking that the owner doesn’t have a clue and what a missed opportunity it is. It is so cluttered and dark in the store. Clean up the intense clutter, organize and merchandise the yarn, get rid of that dark carpeting, fix the poor lighting and add more places for customers to sit. The owner(s) must do something to clean up the register area. It’s so cluttered and messy. It makes a really bad impression. A friend went in to buy a present and was so turned of by all the clutter and disorganization, they turned around and left. One very good thing: the staff is very knowledgable and helpful.

This is a nice place to get your knitting supplies. The yarn selection is very large and if they don’t have it they will order it no charge. They have all notions and needle you need and they can order those also. The people are knowledgable and help without any hesitations. They give advice about yarn substitutions if you need also. Great place to go!

I have shopped at many yarn shops and I keep coming back to the Yarn Barn. They have the best selections of supplies and yarns. The staff is very friendly and they are always are able to help out with any questions I may have. No need to shop anywhere else! Those who love to knit need to go to The Yarn Barn.

People that work here are rude and condescending. I placed an order here that I was told would arrive in «a few days» and it took over 2 weeks. The employees talk badly about each other to customers as well. Never going back here if I can help it.
