My experience was quite a bit different. It seems they’re polite, until you have a complaint, at which point they become argumentative and defensive. I dropped off an expensive sweater because I didn’t want to risk ruining it by hand washing. When I went to pick it up I found it was now «pilly» and had quite a bit of lint/​animal hair (I don’t have pets) and looked grubby overall. Perhaps it picked up debris from being thrown in a bin with other items while waiting to be cleaned. I assume it was the owner who insisted they had spent considerable time picking hairs off etc. and that it arrived «pilly». Clearly what remained on the sweater could have been taken off with a lint roller but it really looked as if they hadn’t put much time into cleaning it, and more like they wiped it down with something, causing the fabric to pill. At any rate it’s ruined, and I wasn’t offered a refund or even a second cleaning. They became rude and borderline hostile instead of trying to give the customer their money’s worth. Lost my business for sure!

I had my prom dress altered here a couple months ago. Although it was made of a complicated lace material with multiple layers, the fitting was fast and efficient, and the end product fit perfectly. The couple was the sweetest (and most knowledgable in the field) that I have ever met. Very fast. Highly recommend!

Very nice people, very good work, competent ordinary alterations, try to accommodate special requests, keep promises. What’s not to like?
