The blackened catfish platter is very good. A very generous portion of fish seasoned and cooked well and two sides. The fries and hush puppies are so good that I just eat them straight without any condiments. I’ve eaten here several times and have been impressed by both customer service and the food.

Went here for lunch and I will be back! Not sure what happened when other folks came here but I had a great lunch and the manager is very engaging when talking about the food how it’s prepared and suggestions to add to the menu. I’m not sure if time of day matters but the owner does show passion for the food and likes to hear feedback. I’m coming by for dinner to try another dish..

Not what they say. I asked was shrimp fresh… they of course said yes clearly it’s not. I asked what type of bread do you use? They said French(which I thought would at least be crusty on the outside and soft inside. …they use a hoogie roll The red beans looked dried out and even after I commented on how thick they looked from someone else order, and my beans still looked like mud. I’ve not tried the gumbo(clearly I was giving them a shot with my order) but my expectations are already low. Not to mention I asked why did you charge me separately for a 6″ sandwich and gumbo(approximately $ 13 for the two) when there is a soup and 6″ sandwich combo for $ 9.99. When asked what’s the difference I was told you get fries with the combo but when I got my food again(first sandwich was wrong) both times the meal came with fries. Overall nice try but epic FAIL! Updated I tried the gumbo taste like a vegetable soup with under-seasoned chicken chunks, okra, and frozen shrimp. Red beans just were not good.(Can I give a ½ star? At least my son liked the fries)

Horrible!! and I mean Horrible. I can’t even sleep and I ate more than 3 hours ago. I may have to make myself sick just to get this food out of me. My husband stop there on his way home to give them a try. Big mistake.he ordered me a PoBoy sandwich and got a fishy fish sandwich. He called to tell them about it and had to ask for the sandwich he paid for. He went back to get it and the guy actually wanted him to bring the sandwich(wrong) back… WHY. was he going to resale it. OMG nasty. PLEASE never go there. The food and the service is AWEFUL…

It is nice to be able to get some friend oysters so close to the house, but it was just ok. I would go back and give them another chance though, being that they just opened. The oyster po boy I got wasn’t bad, it just wasn’t really good. I need to see that this is no ordinary sandwich because you are representing the food from New Orleans. Put some stank on it! It wasn’t seasoned all that well and I didn’t get enough oysters to fill the bread. Imma need them to step their game up. I will be back to see if there is some improvement. I don’t hate it, but I don’t love it. The interior looks pretty nice, but I have never eaten inside.

THEGOOD: * Though small, the shrimp Po boy sandwich was pretty good. The person with me, said that the seafood gumbo was good. Note: the«seafood» gumbo only had shrimp as its meat. * It was good to see one of the cooks wearing gloves while handling the food. Positive. THEBAD: Express? Well, that appears to be a misnomer for this place: * Service was slow. We ordered a basic combo, but was told it would take 15 – 20 min. For a sandwich, gumbo, and rice and beans! We were told of the delay after we paid. No express this time. * Portions are small for what you pay. Shrimp PO boy sandwich needs more shrimp(see posted photos). *Rice and beans are not seasoned enough for me. Bland. * Boxes and other items are stacked within eyesight of the entrance. Maybe this is because they just opened recently; still It would be good if that was stored out of customers sight. Also, several food trays stacked on the trash can.

I want my money and my time back!!! I ordered jambalaya n Cajun chicken sandwich with side of Mac n cheese. Jambalaya(half cup) was just rice in tomato sauce n there were no seafood at all. Cajun chicken had 4 little chopped up pieces then it was burnt that I couldn’t eat it. The home made Mac n cheese(half cup) tasted n had the consistency of runny boxed krafts Mac n cheese. Worst part of all this was I paid $ 12 n had to wait over 15min. DONOTCOMEHERE!!! BTW, the person handling money handles the cups, plates and bowls without gloves or washing their hands. SMH!!!

First thing First. Why open a restaurant if your cooks aren’t trained. I mean what kind of cook takes 35mins to make a fucking grilled shrimp salad that cost $ 8?! come on man. $ 14 seafood platter and it only comes with 2 oysters 3 shrimps 3 hush puppies and 1 fish. Do not come here. I was here for almost an hour and seen at least 8 customers walk out. I’m not even kidding. DONOTOPEN A RESTURANTIFYOUDONOTKNOWTHEINSANDOUTSOFIT.
