The manager should be FIRED
This was a terrible experience.
1. They were out of many items on the menu.
2. About 15 mins to take the drink/​appetizer/​food order
3. 10 mins to have the drinks should up
4. 10 mins for one appetizer to show up (soup)
5. 10 mins later another appetizer
6. 10 mins later another appetizer (oysters on the half shell. Some of the ice from the tray ended up in my drink and on my arm from the clumsy waitress)
7. 15 mins later entrees (some were cold)
It became an exercise in masochism because we had invested so much time we did not want to leave when we should have walked out. Will never eat here again or recommend it. Saw other customers having similar experiences. Would have rather had a seafood meal from Capt D’s (yuck). Never saw the cowardly manager. AVOID THIS PLACE

Everytime I come here its completely different. Its better looking inside. Brighter and looks bigger. the bartenders I believe kill this place. Ive been in a few times with rude extremely slow bartenders. The last time a few Weeks ago there was a young bartender and she was nice and helpful. I was down in Fredericks burg and somehow this place was mentioned. I told him my experiences and he laughed saying he knows the owner. But then he was quick to remember a time he and his gf encountered a rude bartender. but since things seem to be changing… Maybe its food the better? Next time I go back ill update

Unless you have a boat, this place is really just OK. Mediocre in every way.

It must be because I am from the Midwest that I have a rather upbeat review of the Oasis, or perhaps I didn’t go there for their culinary abilities. I went there to have a good time, and that is exactly what was delivered. When I arrived it was to the sight of the security guards keeping what looked like a small gang of rabble rousers giving the guards a hard time for not letting them in. Yay! I am immediately happy that the guards here do their jobs and take it seriously and I try not to run into the bathroom for cover. Once inside, the place is packed, but it is fun seeing everyone standing around and obviously having a good time, lots of chatting and drinking, which is always a good sign. The DJ is awesome, and I could tell he was giving serious effort to playing a wide variety of music, even some Metallica at one point. The drinks were great, very reasonable for the area, the bartenders friendly and attentive. I like that there is a roomy parking lot out front so there is no hikes afterward to get to your car, and if you didn’t have a DD like I did, the cabs could pull in right out front and I heard it announced when a cab arrived. I like this club, and I will probably go again before I move. So if you are just looking for a fun time and a place to shake it, give the Oasis a try!

Why this place gets packed every weekend is beyond me. Some of the bartenders are cool, but the food is not. Most of the menu is fried. My favorite thing on the menu is the shrimp cocktail.
In the summer time it gets packed with boaters from the Marina. I gave an extra star because on Sunday afternoon’s you can sit on the deck and enjoy a beer.

Soo much smoke. If you love smoke — this place may be for you. Didn’t even bother to sit down… left immediately.

So My bf and a couple of his friends, family members and I decided to come here on a sunday afternoon… They all figured we could enjoy being outside and have a beer… HA! THOUGH WE COULD ENJOY KEYWORDS!!!
The service was terrible, we waited about 20 minutes for drinks and then 45 more minutes for our food… i would understand if we ordered things that required much time! Please dont tell me calamari out of a frozen bag takes 45 minutes to make along with chicken tenders REALLY! Chicken tenders were dry along with the wings we ordered and the calamari was just sad! I know that when im out in Va i will not be visiting Oasis! If i could put up half a star a would!
