I’ve been visiting this particular McD’s regularly for a few years about once every 2 weeks… The food has always been fresh and tasty no matter what I’ve ordered and the staff is pretty professional… Along with the food, I give high marks to the décor which is a throwback to the 50’s and early 60’s…For some reason, after visiting yesterday, I truly listened to the music selection which is always oldies… I have noticed it many times before but this day it sounded special to me since I’m a fan of oldies, having been born in 1940… I grew up and lived in Conn. until age 16 at which time I came to live in DC… While spending those years in Conn. I experienced the birth of rock & roll music, rushing home after school to see American Bandstand on tv and hearing a wide range of music from Elvis to the Everly Brothers to James Brown. Fast forward to 1956 coming to DC, hearing lots of do wop along with rock and roll, watching the Milt Grant tv show and great music… I have mentioned all of this to urge anyone who treasured the music of the late 50’s and 60’s to visit this McDonald’s, get those fries and sweet tea and be transported back to your youth as you listen to uninterrupted music from those eras. You will be surprised at how many memories will flood your mind and make you remember some of those early loves…

This place is dirty! I know it’s McDonald’s, but I don’t think anyone wants to eat at a dirty restaurant. The people at the restaurant are rude, especially the kids who work there. They don’t smile, look at you as if you are a waste of their time and don’t say thank you or have any manners. If I am giving a restaurant my business, at least be nice to me and the customers. I had their fries and it was really salty! And cold. Last time I’m going there.

We love coming here! My kids love the atmosphere! The 50s music, the jukebox, the vintage look, the moon man, all of the lights look great! Love the historic memorabilia! The staff is friendly as well.

I try McDonalds like once a year. Just bit into a chicken biscuit… The fried chicken was like a mix between the elasticity of bad calamari and the toughness of good jerky. I wouldn’t feed my dog this chicken, but I guess I’d feed myself it. I mostly came in for the eggnog advertisement. They discovered they didn’t have eggnog after I payed for it, so they were only able to give me a drink of an equal value which ended up being coffee that seemed to be seasoned with pepper. The year is almost finished, for my final disappointment I’ll be sure to get some bad cranberry sauce at whatever Christmas meal I attend. Thanks for the consistency McD’s.

Cashier didn’t say thank you. I also can’t understand why people at McDonald’s that handle food don’t wear plastic gloves. They need to hire an exterminator then maybe I’ll come back. Saw a six legged creature upon getting my sweet tea.

Fast speedy service for an ice cream cone, sweet tea and some waters before getting ready to sit in rush hour traffic! One car ahead of me but even that didn’t slow things down. Not bad, not bad at all.

This is a nice one design wise. It has a 50s & racetrack feel with a jukebox, checkered flag and racing strips theme. There’s the Mac the knife(moon guy) playing piano at the front. The ladies at the counter greeted us as soon as we walked in, didn’t mess up out order, and were pretty fast. Best one I have been to in a few weeks.

McDonalds needs to realize fast food doesn’t mean to rush and serve cold food to paying customers. Maybe after losing profits from having to re-cook hot fries they’ll see its better to give every customer hot fries from the beginning.
