Like so many other people mentioned, do not let the exterior or location trick you. This place is a adorable, serene, clean and calm inside. They’ve made good use of space, with lots of work stations, but never feeling like you’re sitting on top of someone next to you. The whole staff are friendly and engaging without being overly chatty. There are TONS of color selections.
One can walk in or make an appointment (we showed up early for our appointment and were tended to immediately despite it being busy). It smells AMAZING, not chemical-​ly like most nail salons.
There are lots of choices and price ranges to choose from for nail treatments– all of them totally reasonable.
My feet look and feel great!

Wow, no wait at all. Bring you food. Very kind and so sweet staff. First time here, I called my husband to join me. I begged him to get a Gentlemen’s pedicure.

I just moved to the area and feel like I hit the jackpot when I tried Joy Nails & Spa! I got the Happy Feet Pedi and a manicure and from beginning to end the experience was amazing. I can hardly believe how close this is to my house and I would make the drive to go here even if I lived far away! I was given water, watermelon slices and crackers, sat in the best massage chair I’ve ever been in, and the pedi May gave me was absolutely wonderful. I’ll be making an appointment with her again… and soon. This is the best mani-​pedi place in Woodbridge or Alexandria that I’ve ever been in.

This is my go to place and has been since I moved to Woodbridge last summer. They are always so accommodating, sweet and patient. When my elderly grandmother comes to visit I ALWAYS bring her here for a mani/​pedi and she has such a great time. They’re gentle and kind and accommodate her so well (she has a hard time seeing).
Lucy the owner, who is always there, greets me with a huge smile and a hug and acts like I’m there every week and acts as though she remembers me (whether she does or not). Some of the best customer service I’ve ever received in any business let alone in a nail salon.
I just moved to Alexandria but will continue to come here, despite it being a bit of a drive, because of how fantastic this place is! I recommend this to everyone and anyone. You won’t be disappointed!

I will probably pour the sugar too much on this review but seriously, I found this salon almost a year ago and won’t go anywhere else! They do my gel nails so nice. The owner’s name is Lucy, and she’s always there to greet you with a smile. They give you a drink and snacks while you’re getting your nails done. The place is very clean (some places in Woodbridge are disgusting).
A couple of reasons they aren’t like other salons:
–they don’t gossip about you in their language, so you’re not uncomfortable
–they treat every client the same (some places cater to those spending more $$$)
–they don’t ask you personal questions and are pretty quiet unless you want to talk
–they sterilize EVERYTHING (all the tools come from a sealed UV bag), all the pedicure stations are cleaned after they’re done using it
–they send you text reminders so you don’t miss your appt
–they offer new services but don’t push anything on you (which is nice because I can only afford the basics)
–they give you good advice on what your nail problem is and why it’s happening (I got this first hand because my nails were starting to become yellow)
I’ve had my nails done by almost all the technicians and they all do an equally amazing job. My sisters and I are relieved to find a place in Woodbridge. Thank you guys for your hard work and making my stubby fingers look amazing!

We loved this place! It was the first time my boyfriend was stepping foot into a salon EVER and needless to say he was a little nervous! When you walked in the immediately had complimentary water and they were super helpful in accommodating us so that we could be seated next to each other in the spa chairs! We both got the «Happy Feet» pedicures, which include the polish (for me) the mint scrub, massage and wax treatment which was super soothing! I felt so relaxed! I’m taking off one star because unfortunately the paint job was a little messy, maybe I put my sandals on to quickly? it wasn’t enough to not come back, however! I love how they offer little snacks while you’re being taken care of, though! We had watermelon and tortilla chips, haha!

I wanted to take my mom to get our feet done, and this place is amazing. Very friendly staff and clean shop. I’m in boots everyday and Tayla took care of me. My feet looked and felt brand new.

I scheduled an appointment for a group of friends and myself so we could pamper ourselves with a spa day. The staff was great about following up with us prior to our appointment day.
We were very impressed by the cleanliness of the business, the warmth shown by the employees, and the professional work we had done. We had massages, mani-​pedis, facials, and one party had eyelash extensions.
Each customer is served with various fruits, drinks, and chips/​crackers. I will recommend this place to anyone. This will now be our go-​to spa/​nail salon.

Today was my second visit and it was just as good as my first! I had a great pedicure. The chairs are awesome and the pedicure was soooo nice. I also had gel nails done and I love them! The staff is very friendly. They obviously have alot of repeat customers and make a point of knowing them by name. I will DEFINITELY be back! Best place around. Don’t waste your time trying other places!

My sister and I were there yesterday for the first time. I can now say I’m going to be an all the time customer. This place is awesome! We were treated so well. The shop is beautiful and the massage I had by Lucy left me relaxed and feeling great. My toes look great too. I love the water and snacks they offer everyone too. I felt like a million bucks when I left and will be back again when I need a massage or pedi. The prices here are comparable to everywhere else and its a little out of my way but well worth the trip.

Second time I’ve been here for a mani and pedi and I was not disappointed. My tech Did an amazing job on my pedicure and shellac nails. I love coming here they are so welcoming and friendly. I’m looking forward to going back on Tuesday for a facial.

Don’t all make an appointment at one time but I LOVE THIS PLACE! It’s quaint and cozy. The little snack plate and tea or water they provide every customer add a special touch to this salon. My favorite tech is SOFIA! She’s professional, kind and good with pedis, manis and eyebrow threading.

They have an online appointment system, they take appointments over the phone and they take walking. The salon is always very clean and the staff is extremely professional. My preschoolers gets her toes done here and they are so gentle and patient with her. I never feel like they are cutting my pedicures short. They always last the full time and the polish stays for a few weeks! I totally recommend Joys!

I went here with one of my friends and absolutely loved the experience. We went for pedicures. They had a menu of different types of pedicures with some great options. The customer service was amazing and they give you free snacks and tea. I will definitely be coming here again.

I like it here. They take their time and give you water and fruit when you come in. I don’t have a particular favorite technician they all seem great!

This place is a gem. Very quiet setting. Staff was very personable and nice. The next day the owner followed up with me via phone to see how I enjoyed my service. That was a first! Definitely will go back.
Warning: When you drive up the place looks a little sketchy but its a great place.

Just got manicure and pedicure and Brazilian wax. Sofia did my nails and she was awesome! I have ingrown toe nails and im quite demanding about it and she was very nice and understanding in removing them!
The wax was great too Lucy used hard wax this time and it was very smooth and quick! For valentines day i picked up a bottle of chocolate butter cream from the selection of products they have and my valentine will be getting a nice treat from me for valentines day cant wait!

First of all, I am an Alpha, hetero man, who has been coming here, with my woman, for almost two years. I would never have come back if I felt the least bit uncomfortable.
Walking in you get a sense of warmth from the décor and a generous greeting from everyone on deck.
I’ve had my feet and hands done by multiple ladies, I’ve had my nose (yeah), and ears (yes) waxed by Lucy, the owner, several times. Always top notch, always professional, thorough, and I genuinely have a nice time here.
Don’t tell my girlfriend, but I’ve even come up here by myself to get the mani/​pedi treatment.
Everyone has their own opinion but for me this is the best spa in Woodbridge.
