Got my hair cut next door so wandered into the place to give it a try. Started off ordering the hot and sour soup, cup size. The girl said is this all you want and I said no and ordered a Dr. Pepper to go with it. I told her I was ordering the soup as a sample of their cooking. Then after it was pretty good I ordered the pepper steak, very tasty, with steamed rice. And then ordered the Mongolian beef for my wife. She complained about a lack of shrimp in the dish and the fact that I forgot to order her some fried or refried rice. I’m sure I’ll be back next time I get my hair cut.

I’ve ordered delivery 2 times now & am pleased. The Cashew Chicken, the Chicken Asparagus & the Vegetables Egg Foo Young all good. I was surprised that each dish had a good amount of meat & veggies. There was more food than sauce & that’s better than other places. The prices are average, but the quality of food is better than at other similar restaurants. Delivery was on time & the food was hot as well as delicious. I recommend Hunan Garden for Delivery!

Two stars because the dining room was very clean and tidy. I didn’t utilize the bathroom facilities so I can’t provide info on the cleanliness of that.
Ok, so I ordered two simple items since this was my first time here and wanted to see how things went. I ordered springs rolls and Mongolian beef. The springs rolls are mostly vegetable, but in this case they are all cabbage with a hint of carrot and not much else. The Mongolian beef was very bland for a Chinese dish. I’d never experienced a Mongolian beef dish that lacked flavor. It was completely void of true flavor.
Not sure I will try again even though I’m new to the area and they are very close to home.

I was hesitant at first to order from here. I’m not completely disappointed that I did. When I first looked at the menu I thought the prices were a little high. When my food was delivered though I found the sizes make it proportional to what I usually pay at other places. The chicken fried rice was bland and kind of dry. I wouldn’t pay the extra money to get the shrimp rolls they were a good size, but from what I could tell there was only half a shrimp in it. I’d eat here again if I was in the area, didn’t want pizza and didn’t feel like cooking.

Honestly some of the best chines food I get here in Woodbridge. Sometimes I can be «that customer» because I ask for extra every time (extra onion and extra spicy) and everyone they hold me down. The quality of the food is out of this world. Even when they deliver the food is still hot. He’ll IM getting hungry just thinking about this place… Good job you all… And thanks!

I just don’t really like to eat in there because the restaurant very dark and the ambiance just not match for my standard. But other than that. The food are great — I just don’t like to dine-​in there.

Okay, I should’ve known better! Last night I ordered chicken pad thai… Normally this place is pretty good and I had no business ordering Thai food from a Chinese restaurant. So I went with 4 stars despite the worse pad thai I’ve ever had. Yes, it was the worse! It should be called Chinese fry spaghetti with too much peanuts. Never again will I choose convenience over quality. Did I mention how bad the pad thai is? The typical traditional Chinese dishes are not bad from this place and this was/​is the only thing I’ve tried from here that ended up in the trash.

Although the portion sizes were huge, the food was very bland and not as good as we had expected. The price was pretty expensive for Chinese take out. Also we weren’t given an itemized receipt so I’m not sure why it was so pricy. However, delivery service was super fast and friendly. Maybe we ordered the wrong things. I will try again sometime and hope the food is better!

We eat in, carry out and use their delivery. We’ve never had a complaint. Food is always fresh and tastes delicious. We love the shrimp and broccoli, beef and broccoli, General Tsos, the sesame shrimp, the spring rolls, lo mein, etc. The service is quick and courteous. We have tried other Chinese restaurants in the area and none of them were as yummy as Hunan Garden, we just keep coming back!

WOW. The reviews were SO right. Delicious. Crab Rangoon — came out so hot and fresh and plenty of filling. Pork lomein and general tsao chicken… SO good. Even their hot tea was so rich and good! We plan to become regulars.

The best Chinese food around. Great service, great food, have tried many things on their menu and have never had anything that wasn’t excellent. We order from here about once a week, and I didn’t even really like Chinese before we found Hunan Garden.
Over the past few months the quality really went down so I updated my review on Unilocal to reflect that. It hadn’t been just one or two bad experiences, it was several in a row. I heard back from Hunan Garden and they asked for us to give them another try. We did and we were not disappointed. The quality of the food and quick delivery was back to what we had become accustomed to. We will definitely become regular customers again.

One of the highlights of my trips to Woodbridge. This place has the best wonton crunchies! I will always order extra! The Moo Goo Gai Pan is also just as delicious, as well as the Kung Pao Chicken and Lo Mein! And it wouldn’t be a complete meal without the Egg Drop Soup! Be sure to get plenty of crunchies! They are made on-​site and fresh!

Great people and service. Once you place your order, the food will be ready in 10mins. They also can accommodate you if you want things that are not on menu but they can cook it (just as long as they know what it is and they have the ingredients for it) you can make adjustments to the lunch special order if you want to substitute noodles over the rice options.
The food is great and there are many selections to chicken, seafood, noodles, soups and vegetables.
Overall great food that won’t hurt the wallet too much.
Delivery is also a bigger area than 3miles radius.
