So the food was estimated at around 80 – 90 minutes to be delivered. It got delivered in about an hour. We got lo mein which tasted like it had a chemical taste to the noodles, chicken with broccoli that had a fishy texture and smell and brown rice (pictured) that is purple and does not taste like brown rice. The only good thing we did get was the white rice… Which is hard to mess up on. Def not worth the money or the wait.

This place was not good at all. The wing is alright small but greasy and not flavorful. The worst was the shrimp Lomain, no flavor and the noodle was different than normal Lomain texture but beside that the shrimp was horrific, it had bad Odor and taste old like it was getting rotten. Never again

Just got carryout twice the same thing — chicken with snow peas. Delicious!
Of course I usually get ½ price deals for restaurants I go to, so it was even better, because what they call 2 servings I would call about 6!

Ummmm… well, the food wasn’t the best. The beef on a stick was overcooked and burnt, the Lomein noodles were soggy and the crab Rangoon was okay… not the best.
The guy that delivered it was telling me I owed them 25.00 when I paid for it already by cc on the phone… so I had to call and let the lady confirm w him that it had been paid all while he’s standing out in 10 degree weather freezing and my food is getting cold.
PROB WONT be ordering from here again. No thanks! Blah

I had their wings and «Japanese» dumplings.
The wings were good: Great choice of chicken (size/​freshness), properly cooked (not over-​cooked/​not dry). Honestly, a good wing. The taste? Very boring. No seasoning, whatsoever! I’d read the reviews, and I was very excited to taste these great wings! And, other than taste, these wings were great, very large, a 5⁄5. Regarding taste, these wings were a 2/​5, not bad, just no seasoning at all.
Now, the «Japanese» dumplings. Japanese dumplings are either pan fried or steamed. Never deep fried! But, I’m open to new experiences. Unfortunately, I was correct, you can’t deep fry a Japanese dumpling. It turns the shell into chewy/​greasy mess. (NOT similar to a crunchy friend egg roll.)

K. So mainly for Chinese we would hit the buffet and spend too much money for too much mediocre food. We were at Lowes and decided to give this place a try since it is right next door. Omg!!! Sooo freaking good! I had the beef fun plate. It’s basically big wide noodles cooked with thinly sliced veggies and thin strips of beef and some shrimp too. It had a very authentic chinese taste. Not too salty and oily. Went back again because, now I’m an addict, and got fried rice and crab rangoons and the same noodle dish with chicken this time. Seriously, heaven! And the portion was so large that my husband has lunch for the next day. The service was great too. We were leaving with our order when the server realized that he forgot to put something in the bag so he ran out and found us in the parking lot. Then he threw in a free drink for the mess up! U dont get that most places. Reasonable prices for the amount of food that you get too. Keep it up!

You know, it’s one thing when a delivery place can’t get you your food within the projected 45 minutes: it happens. It’s quite another thing entirely though, when you call the restaurant after waiting for 1 hr and 15 min to ask what’s taking so long and the person on the phone is completely unapologetic. We were told that it’s not their «fault» that they were busy and that there was nothing they could or would do to ensure they keep us as customers. The lady we spoke to was insultingly rude about the whole matter and since we paid with a credit card over the phone, there’s basically nothing we can do about it. Their food isn’t even good really, so I won’t miss this place one bit. I just wish I knew of a good Chinese restaurant SOMEWHERE in Woodbridge. I hope the B**** we talked to on the phone reads this.

I would give this place zero stars for customer service if I could. Had a perfectly valid coupon from entertainment book for bogo entrée. The lady had rang the order then a fat, sloppy gut from the back starts mumbling something in Chinese which apparently was they wouldn’t accept the coupon on certain items on the menu. NOWHERE on the coupon does it say they do not accept for combo meals, nowhere! I told them nevermind and made the comment that I should have listened to the other reviews on this place. I promptly reported them to the coupon book manufacturer. From what I saw while I was in the place they did me a favor! Three people in the entire place and the Manager looked very sloppy. Not somewhere I would try again.

I’ve eaten at China Express for mostly take out for over four years. Most of the dishes I enjoy are Orange Beef (very fresh orange taste with lots of orange peel in it), Shrimp with Black Bean sauce (again, the sauce is above average), Hunan Pork, and Sesame chicken. The keys are the breading with the classic chicken dishes and the sauce having the right balance. They do not overload on the oils at China Express. That’s why I’m a long time customer.

Sooooooo, I was completely prepared to write this place a terrible review solely based on the fact that they only gave me a 1 oz. container of mambo sauce to accompany my 4 colossal fried chicken wings but the chicken wings were so friggin’ good, I decided to give them an A-​OK rating instead of a, «Don’t ever go here because they charge 50 cents for an additional 1 oz. mambo sauce».
Being the chicken wing connoisseur that I am, my taste buds and tummy will not allow me NOT to return. The chicken wings took longer than I expected but based on the size of these things, I quickly got over my hunger wait… which as we all know is much harder than a regular wait.
*On a side note* If you speak whatever language they speak, please let them know that it’s MAMbo sauce not MUMbo sauce. PEACE!
