It was good but the pizza was kind of dry and I really think they could of done a better job. Would have to consider on coming back

Never had there food befor. So we decided to try it. Customer service was great. The pizzas taste was ok but for the price I feel there should be more there.

If you are looking for a place for a date or maybe with work fellas, this is a great classy, but casual dining perfect for nutritious tasty food in a great atmosphere. The waiter was very attentive and the food did not take long to come out. The place was very clean and classy looking. Everyone at my table agreed, they would come back here again. They were thoroughly impressed. They also do a military discount. The only downfall for some would be the price and bringing kids. It can get pricey really quick. They do have a full bar and I the brick fire oven was a great sight. If you are in the area, stop by, you will be glad you did!

pizzas are good. but… don’t ever order a sandwich. I received a loaf of bread with a piece of meat in the middle. the thing was like 4 inches tall and thick, chewy, crusty bread.

Awesome beer selection with couple of rotating taps to keep it interesting. I miss the Mondays for their $ 2.00 beer night, I had to take a star away for them raising it to $ 2.50 beer on Mondays :(

I’ve been to Brixx a couple times, and the pizza is pretty good. It’s thin, thin, thin crust with very fresh toppings. The food itself has always been on point, although I have to admit I don’t deviate from the pies. My go-to is the Bronx Bomber, but there are quite a few out-of-the-ordinary options and it’d take a while to try them all! I’ve gone with people who get salads or desserts, and I’ve not heard a complaint yet. They have a full bar, so if you’re craving a cocktail or brew with your dinner, you’re good to go. What keeps it at 3-stars for me is the service. It’s been really, really slow each time we’ve gone. It seems like it might not be the table service, but the actual kitchen that’s backing things up. Our servers have always been nice, but I’ve had inconsistent experiences with how attentive they are. Granted, these are generally later-night visits so take that should be noted! All in all the food is good enough for me to go back, and the rest isn’t bad enough to keep me away. A-ok in my book!

Where do you go for pizza if you have a dairy allergy? Brixx! My daughter can’t have dairy, and feeding her pizza meant finding vegan soy cheese and making it at home. Brixx changes that and allows us to eat out as a family with their vegan cheese pizza. The restaurant is very kid friendly, offering not only the standard crayons and coloring menu, but also chalk and a chalkboard behind the seats against the wall, and dough to play with at the table. The Bronx Bomber for me is a way better alternative to the pepperoni and Italian sausage I’d order anywhere else. The sliced Italian sausage has a mild spice with lots of flavor that isn’t over powered by anise. Instead of pepperoni, prosciutto complements the sausage well. Top it all off with mozzarella, gorgonzola cheese and fresh oregano on a handmade, wood fired crust that is perfectly thin and crispy around the edges. Adults who order the root beer won’t get free refills, but it is delicious and not too sweet. It makes a nice side to a family meal for adults and kids alike. It’s no wonder we have been here many times and will be back many more!

Came here for lunch for the first time And was very pleased. we were seated promptly. Our server was so very attentive and personable. The food was good a bit salty for my liking but not to the point that it was ruined. They have a good selection of beer and wine and a pretty full menu. all in all I would recommend this place. The prices are more then reasonable and the service was top notch .the atmosphere was very casual

Stopped in with family from out of town for lunch. Never been here before but heard good things about the food. Pizza was good, it’s wood fired New Haven style pizza. Pretty good all around. Wife had Shrimp Caesar salad and I had a Bronx bomber . Alec was the waiter and he was friendly and attentive. I give it 4 of 5 stars . I would definitely come back for lunch or light dinner.

Cute little restaurant. Family friendly(chalkboards that kids can write on by the tables), good beer selection and $ 5 glasses of wine on Thursday’s until 9pm! We ordered three pizzas(cheese, Americo, and ½ Rustico and ½ Artichoke with chicken) the kids LOVED the cheese pizza and they are picky pizza eaters, it was pretty tasty for it being«just a cheese pizza.» The half and half pizza was great… super tasty and unique flavors. The Americo was a huge disappointment. It was very salty and soggy. I wish we would have only done ½ on that pizza. The waiter was friendly and helpful with beer recommendations and with the menu. The pizza is all thin crust but very flavorful so the kids didn’t mind that, we actually prefer thin crust. This place is definitely worth going back again.

Honestly, the pizza’s are not that great. They are all flat style, and for a place that sells pizza almost exclusively, I’d expect to see some different styles– deep dish? Stuffed crust? Anything? Nice looking place, and it is kinda cute how they have chalk boards at each booth to keep the kids occupied. They also give kids real pizza dough to play with, which is neat, but my daughter, though entertained, didn’t like the food, either. The other non-pizza entrees are possibly worse than the pizza, and I think they have only one dessert on the menu. Meh.

I was here in October 2015. The service and the food left a very good impression! We were seated right away. I ordered the roasted chicken alfredo pasta and it was huge! Tons of meat, the bacon was thick and crisp, good chunks of mushroom, plenty of pasta, and just the right amount of alfredo. It was rich without being overwhelming. The bread it came with was interesting and yummy– soft and herby. My boyfriend ordered the Bronx Bomber and was able to add mushrooms without an extra charge. Again, lots of meat, great spices and plenty of cheese. It was very filling but he powered through and ate it all because it was so good. Our server was very polite and professional. There was a mix-up at the beginning of our meal; we had originally ordered the Brixx Stixx bread sticks as an appetizer, but the waiter forgot about it(it was a pretty busy night). When our entrees came out(surprisingly fast, the same amount of time it would’ve taken for an appetizer) we pointed it out and he apologized and immediately offered a free dessert as compensation. So we cancelled the order of bread sticks and ordered tiramisu instead(which worked out great, because I was totally planning to get it anyway!). The tiramisu came out in a glass dish, I think as a birthday presentation, and was plenty enough for both of us to share. The cookies were soft and cake like, but not mushy, and the chocolate and cream were delicious. Despite the mistake in the beginning, we really enjoyed this meal and appreciated how graciously our server dealt with the issue. We made sure to leave him a generous tip for being so kind!

First time going there, the Hawaiian pizza was ok, I am highly disappointed in the fact that they do not have a bottle of ketchup! I understand they don’t have fries, but that’s not fair. Some people do eat pizza with ketchup. I had to substitute it with marinara sauce. I was not happy. The server was nice though.

I didn’t like the pizza, waiter and waitress were both airheads, and it was just awkward However, my husband really liked his lasagna, the place looks pretty cool, all is clean, and I didn’t get charged for the pizza.

Ordered takeout and the server was very helpful! She knew a lot about the menu options and gave me a really great tip for ordering the perfect gluten free crust — unless you have Celiac disease, ask for the crust to be cooked out of the pan. They usually cook it in the pan to prevent cross-contamination but that makes the center of the crust too doughy. I ordered the Rosemary chicken with Roma tomatoes and it was perfect! Next time I’ll dine in and enjoy the atmosphere :)

Pretty good. On the plus side, lots of gluten free options. The 4×4 pizza and the mozzarella salad are both great. On the minus side we had some service issues. One of our pizzas came out undercooked, there was no silverware or napkins on the table, & the side of quinoa salad with the sandwich was just bad. But they made all that stuff right quickly and without it being a big deal. Definitely worth a look.

Pros: Great location for shopping and walking around, great atmosphere, friendly management and staff, huge beer selection on tap, great pizza Cons: Wine is left open and possibly married at the end of the day, limited parking upfront Brixx Wood Fire Pizza started out in the Queen City of Charlotte, North Carolina, in the historic Dilworth neighborhood in 1998. There are now over 20 locations, expanding across the U.S. to even Colorado. Their claim to fame being their brick ovens which«enhance the natural flavors of our quality ingredients, giving our pizza that amazing, wood-fired taste.» They also state they bake their focaccia bread each day for their sandwiches, try to use locally grown greens in their salads(where possible). Brixx also tries to appeal to all types of eaters by providing various dietary needs, vegan and vegetarian options, whole weat crust, and gluten-free menu items. Appearance: Brixx Wood Fire Pizza in Woodbridge is located in Stonebridge Shopping Center. A somewhat upscale shopping center for the area. Brixx is between Uncle Julios and some Leisure Fitness… nothing says pizza like fitness guilt. There’s limited parking on the street, so plan on walking off that pizza. The interior is set up nicely for singles at the bar, groups in the bar or dining area, and families throughout. There’s also outdoor seating pending weather. Management/Staff: There’s usually someone at the door to greet you, or even open the door. I used to be a regular and knew most of the staff. There were some great younger managers, and friendly staff. I think there’s still some great new Managers and staff here, but I can only speak for John who recently served us. I strongly recommend requesting him. I hope to get to know more of the staff and become a regular again. Beer/Drinks: Brixx has a LARGE selection of beers on tap. Everything from dark to light, craft beer, microbrews, local and country-wide drafts. You have a selection of over 24 various beers, so you’re definitely going to find a favorite, and they do switch out. They also have a good selection of wine(although be careful, there’s no telling how old they might be as wine is not as popular here), and alcoholic drinks. They also do various events to include beer events, keg nights, and running specials throughout the week. Definitely go Monday to get great discounts, but Tuesday — Thursday have good discounts as well. Also, after 10pm I believe, you get buy 1 get 1 free pizza! Food: Brixx has a good selection of salads, sandwiches, and pizzas. I haven’t tried their salads, but their sandwiches are pretty reasonable and worth a try if you’ve already gone through the pizza menu. Pizza is the real reason you’re here and definitely worth a try. They have plenty of choices, combinations, and even various vegetarian and even wheat crust. Although I will say they’re not the best wood fire pizza I’ve tried, they have good flavor and great toppings, and I continue to go back! Overall: Overall, I strongly recommend giving Brixx a try. Between the beer selection and pizza, it makes a great place for couples, groups, and families. The friendly management and employees provide a friendly and courteous environment, and even if they don’t, there’s plenty of beers to choose from to relax and end the day with.

Only stopped by to pickup but the first thing I noticed was the atmosphere. The place was packed(in a good way) and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves, which automatically made the place seem welcoming. There are also several TVs and plenty of seating. Definitely a great place to go with a big group of people. When we got the pizza, I must admit I was a little disappointed in the way it looked. It didn’t seem very promising, but this was one of those instances where the looks are deceiving. The pizza was full of flavor and tasted great. They actually messed up on our original order and quickly made another one so I really appreciated their service and hospitality. I forgot to mention that this was just a Monday night… Seeing this large of a crowd on a Monday makes me want to return and see how the turnout is on a weekend. Note: If you’re a huge sauce fan then this place may not be for you, but if you’re like me and love your pizza either way, then you’ll be alright.

My friends and I decided to go to Brixx because pizza is always a good choice. We started out with the Spinach & Artichoke Dip and Bruschetta which were good and fresh. I ordered the 4×4 because it seemed like the most highly recommended pizza. The teaser trailer to this pizza played out like movie magic: mozzarella, parmesan, gouda AND goat cheese plus sausage, pepperoni, prosciutto and bacon. What could possibly go wrong? Well, there was no sauce on the pizza so it was very dry. I tried a couple pieces of the Pear & Gorgonzola which was so promising but it definitely fell flat. The proper combination would have give you a bite of sweet and salty flavors and nuttiness from the walnuts. There was barely any gorgonzola on the pizza and the walnuts should have been toasted to activate the flavor. My friends tried a few other pizzas and after seeing theirs, I assume that Brixx’s pizzas don’t really get much sauce love. Service was average at best. Two stars is on point because my opinion of this place is «Meh».
