Huge portions. Great service and very welcoming. Definitely worth getting out of the touristy part of town.

Did not understand how this place is rated so high. The biscuits and gravy were extremely mediocre and the eggs lacked everything.

I don’t know what we were doing on the road that led to Stuffs, but when we saw it(and the many cars in the parking lot), we knew it must be something special. It really is a little speck and you can zip right by it. Don’t!!! My beloved is a big breakfast guy and this place was right up his alley. I on the other hand, am not a breakfast person but always try to find something that works. I knew they had homemade biscuits. However, I don’t want a lot of biscuits – so I was delighted when I was able to order just one. Add an order of delicious sausage and I was as happy as my beloved with Stuffs. Good service, good prices. Please, don’t call this a greasy spoon – it’s bright, clean and friendly!

The food was awesome! Down home country breakfast. Large portions. Owner is super friendly. He takes time to get to know his customers.

This place doesn’t look like much from the hwy or the front, however it’s well worth stopping in. The front looks like an older house converted into the business. There are 11 tables and a small bar/counter with seating for 5. The service was excellent and fast. Tables turn over quite quickly. They have breakfast/brunch and lunch items. We chose to order breakfast. I had the country fried steak breakfast with eggs, happens, and today. The serving sizes are quite generous. Everything was cooked perfectly and they didn’t skimp on the gravy(as I find so many places do)! The coffee was excellent and it’s a bottomless pot. The atmosphere is very casual and appears to be a local favorite. I did take note of the efficiency of the staff as they all made sure food was delivered promptly, tables were pre bussed, and I even noticed one of the cooks delivering food to a couple of tables. As parties left staff quickly cleared, cleaned, and set tables. We will definitely return.

We visited on a weekday morning. It was harder to find than it should have been(thanks to the brilliance of Google Maps) so we called. The owner patiently gave us great directions. Both of us had the corned beef hash which was fantastic … perfect ratio of ingredients, and just barely charred … yum. Definitely a hole in the wall, not gussied up for tourists, worth the drive.

Great local greasy spoon. So happy to find these places amongst the commercialism and expensive over the topness of the dells! Great breakfast, great lunch. I had the Stuff Burger. Great burger with stone interesting fixings, including carrots and grewn peppers! Would definitely go back!

This is our favorite breakfast spot in the dells. Place is small, but food is fresh and outstanding. Come here at least once every trip!

Small place that serves up a great breakfast. Visiting from TX we found the biscuits and gravy here better than anything we have back home, and kids gave the pancakes two thumbs up! So good we came back the next day. The waitress not only recognized us but remembered our orders!

We had breakfast there based on reviews and it did not disappoint. There are only 15ish tables but we got seated right away. I did notice a few people who came in after did wait a few minutes. Chef was very accommodating to my gluten free requirement. My Daughter ordered the sausage gravy and biscuits meal and raved about the flavor. Don’t go there if you are looking for atmosphere or a trendy menu but if you want substantial portions, tasty food at a reasonable price this is the place!

Stopped in for breakfast this morning due to the good reviews on Unilocal and we wanted to try something local… I am so glad we did! Don’t let the small space fool you! The waitress was so friendly and the chef/owner came out to say hi and thank us for coming in, that was very unique to see. I ordered the ham, tomato and cheese omelet with hash browns and hubby ordered biscuits and gravy with sausage. Both meals were generous in portion, fresh ingredients and tasted delicious. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the Dells!

I guess all good things, must come to an end. This will be my last review of this fine dining establishment. The chef-owner, has identified me as «Glen B,» your erstwhile restaurant critic. Since he knows who I am, my opinions are now meaningless. Human nature, being what it is… as a known restaurant critic, getting preferential treatment, would not be out of the question. As a last parting shot… I watched Harvest Bread, go out of business. As locals… we MUST support, our local businesses. If a well run operation, with a great product, and highly motivated employees, can’t cut it… there is no hope for society, as we know it. Go to Stuffs. If you like their food… TELLYOURFRIENDS! They will thank you… Glen B.

Small, clean, Mom & Pop type restaurant… Good, plentiful food… clean, friendly. A bottle of hand sanitizer on each table. A small bar with wine and beer. If I lived in the area, I’d be a regular!

Ordered eggs, B&G, hash browns. Kids had pancakes, eggs, & bacon. Great place to start your day. Breakfast was yummy. Service was fantastic. Looking for a not so corporate dining experience off the beaten path? This is your place.

I’m here from Chicago, for the first time. I read all the other reviews and decided to give this place a try. Don’t be deceived by the exterior. It’s not what you’d expect. The place is very small — only 10 tables, but the staff is friendly. The food was very good and certainly on par with and good restaurant you might find. Although a bit more pricy than I would have expected for a small, family owned place, the food was good. The owner came out to greet us and say hello. Nice experience overall. Recommended.

The biscuits and gravy were some of the best we’ve had in quite a while. Good portions and fast friendly service. Went with our 1 yo and it was very family friendly.

My son and I went there today and had a great breakfast. I love places like this. It’s off the beaten path away from downtown. Great service and wonderful food. Best breakfast in the Dells!
