We found our place to stay at the Dells! This place is charming, comfortable, reasonably priced for all you get and convenient to all the Dells attractions. Mike, the manager, was able to accommodate all our requests, and the lake is to die for. The place is only 5 min from the strip, but it is so quiet and peaceful, you’d think you were in the wilderness, miles away from civilization. Highly recommend for people who are sick of ginormous water park hotels and want something scenic.

I feel like this place is overpriced, but maybe everything in the Dells is overpriced so it’s a moot point. I like the location, we were in cabin 23 and it was right next to the beach, and close to the docks and the playground. The cabin was clean, but old and dated and had a mustiness to it. The beds were not very comfortable. The deck was great and honestly, we spent the majority of the time there. The resort is close to everything — but never felt that way. It is quiet and serene. Even the resort itself didn’t feel crowed even though it was pretty full. The ground is covered by soft pine needles that are way better than grass and I think help keep the bugs away. And I should say — I normally attract mosquitoes from three states around. In the time it takes me to water flowers at home, I can have 3 – 5 bites. I came home from 4 days at Island Pointe without a bite. HUGE! I also loved the shadiness of the area. I hate sun and it was easy to avoid it(it was easy to get it too — on the beach and the pool, for those that like sun). The staff is super helpful and respectful. They take a lot of pride in the resort. Honestly, I think that my cabin at least would have made this a 5-star review but the fact that my husband slept with a t-shirt wrapped around his pillow case, means that the cabin could be brought more up to date. It was clean for sure, but still felt… old.

I’ve been coming to the dells for the past 20 years, stayed at the $ 60 a night dumps to the $ 400 a night tourist traps. This is now my place! No crowds, which is huge, because you get enough crowds elsewhere in this town. This is the place to relax, you don’t need to be stressed on vacation, which usually ends up happening at the bigger, crowded places. Mike is a class act, through and through, I almost want to hug the guy when I see him. He runs this place with pride, which is something very rare these days. Hats off to you Island Pointe, and here’s to many more summer vacations with you:)

The charm of this place is what makes it special. Off the beaten path, but close to all of the amusements in The Dells. Reminds me of the cottages my parents would rent for us in upper Wisconsin or Michigan to go fishing. Very family oriented, but much simpler than the waterparks on the«strip». Nice pool and the unit was well kept, clean, and perfect for our time in the area. Dishwasher and W/D in unit were nice ammenities. Will be my first choice when visiting Lake Delton area next time.
