Very nice tasting room. We went in after our dinner at the Buckhorn, now that I think about it, we should have come here first. Quentin was AWESOME& very attentive to us. I will definitely come back!

The wine tasting was only $ 5 and atmosphere was super chill. The wine was good but nothing really stood out and impressed me.

Just opened our 2007 tradition, oh so good. So amazing sitting down with my husband, on a hot day, playing a game with apatizers and a fantastic Bottle of wine from Berryessa Gap

Berryessa Gap is amazing! We threw a bridal party here last night and I couldn’t have pictured a better night! Quentin and Rosendo were so great and went above and beyond to ensure that every one was happy and everything ran smoothly. The wine was wonderful and it was such a fun atmosphere! Thank you. We will definitely be back for more good times!

A really pretty, rustic vibe in California. Located in downtown, it’s a nice, relaxed atmosphere to drink some wine. Very inexpensive tasting and the wines are yummy.

This was a top notch tasting. If you purchase a bottle, the tasting is free, and we wound up purchasing two bottles because it was so good. I particularly enjoyed the Chardonnay and the Petite Sirah. The employee working was very knowledgeable and we chatted for awhile. If you enjoy a good wine and want an excellent tasting experience, definitely give these guys a try.

Still learning about wine, so the woman pouring explained(tried to at least) the nuances of each type of red I tasted. While I thank her for trying, I’m still clueless when it comes to wine which is really not her fault. I ended up liking«the one on the right» but they«ran out» of it. At the vineyard? Hmm. This was a celebration for a couple of newly doctorate-d women so there was a pleasant buffet of rice, beans and a couple different meats. Corn tortillas and salad rounded out the dinner which was finished off with cake. They also have a taproom but it was closed. And«the one on the right» was durif.

Red wine nirvana. Luscious deep reds, and elegantly balanced whites. Their new releases are amazing, the chardonnay is a new style for them undergoing malolactic fermentation and giving it a very balanced buttery character. Starting with the Syrah, the reds sweep you off your feet and before you know it you’re on a Mediterranean island with their exotic Durif. Must try wines that will keep you coming back. Best part is like all of Winters everything is much more affordable than Napa for, in my opinion, better wine!

I wasn’t able to enjoy any of the«generous pours» or other perks of this place because I attempted nearly a dozen times to redeem a groupon for a reservation via the phone(and phone messages) and they never answered or called back. How can you run a business if you don’t answer your phone? I can’t just drive an hour and show up with a groupon if they aren’t going to accept me without a reservation.(Groupon said reservation is required.) I really wanted to try this place and maybe I will change my review when I use my hard-earned money to pay the normal cost of tasting/a bottle of wine. I just wish I had known about them not answering the phone and then I wouldn’t have bought the groupon. Sorry if this review is not helpful for those without groupons, I’m just very frustrated and cannot even talk to them about it because they don’t answer the phone!

I love this place All of the employees are helpful and enthusiastic. The wine is great and complex. The wine maker is experienced and lovely. The downtown and 128 locations are well appointed and comfortable. I love to invite my friends to Winters to experience Berryessa Gap wines.

Small, comfortable, and stylish tasting room. Reasonable fee at $ 1 per taste, applied to your purchase. We enjoyed the wines. Service was pleasant-enough, but not exceptionally friendly and welcoming, and information on the wines wasn’t openly offered. Still a fun find in quiet Winters!

After doing some wine tasting at Turkovich Wines, we headed over to Berryessa Gap to keep the party going. Although the tasting fee is $ 1 per pour, they waive your tasting fee if you buy a bottle, which is awesome. All of the wines that we tasted were quite good. Although I’m not a huge fan of white wines, the Verdejo was so good that I had to buy a bottle of it. It had hints of tropical fruits and peach in it. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable about the wines. However, she was the only person working in the tasting room when we were there and there were about 25 customers. Even with her working really quickly, it still took a long time to make it through a tasting. Overall, we really enjoyed our experience and wines at Berryessa Gap, and I’d definitely recommend checking it out.

LOVED this place! Our wine-pourer/hostess, Crystal, was amazing! Allll of the wines here are good, but in particular, I really enjoyed the Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Tempranillo, Zin, and Barbera.

The winery gets 5 stars people, don’t skip it just because you love beer and want to go to the brewery. Take a sip of the beautiful and clean Viognier, the spicy Zinfandel and a few tasty blends that are perfect for any time of year. Trust me friends, the wine. The wiiiiiiine! Don’t miss out.

I love Berryessa Gap. While I was living in Davis for college I would come up frequently on the weekends for ‘wine tasting.’ The wines are excellent. They have some really great ‘ancient’ vines they’ve revived and the staff is super friendly. Live music some nights, and wines by the glass. Complimentary tastings before 5 pm. I also cannot recommend being a wine club member more. For like 200 $ you get 12 amazing bottles throughout the year. How can you beat that?

We came for Berryessa Brewing and saw signs for a wine tasting room pointing nearby in the same building. We walked across the Bocci Ball area and got to the other end where a signs asks you not to walk across it. Oops. The lady working there was really nice. especially since three of us shared a tasting of five. She was cool about it and didn’t give us a hard time or look at us crazy. We just wanted a taste. and we found she had varietals I had never had or heard of. See: Verdelho or Durif. The woman was knowledgeable and gave us back stories on their wine. It was a nice stop. Tasting costs were waived with a bottle purchase. We bought 3!

Honestly this place is «As Good as it gets!» The service is hands down the nicest in the area. They offer Napa quality wines at incredibly inexpensive prices. The wine club is shipped 2 — 3 a year and it’s well worth it. Bottles range from $ 15 — $ 35 on their list of wines but they taste like double the price. I highly recommend buying a few bottles here, then heading over to Preserve and getting some late lunch or dinner. They charge a $ 5 corkage fee if you ask them to open any local wine you have.

We were in a hurry to have lunch at Putah Creek next door, but my cute little old wino husband saw this little storefront winery and made a dash. This is one large room with a small bar for tasting. What there is of the seating is in the front with a large, empty room in back. I am guessing they haven’t been open too long, because there was little furniture or ambiance. Then a bunch of frenetic women arrived, all talking at the same time, and everything echoed. Scary. Definitely time to leave, but not before Mr. B had purchased a 2009 Durif and 2008 Tempranillo. And yes, it was a good way for him to start lunch.

Me and my friends visited this winery on a Saturday night, The women behind the bar was very attentive and put out some delicious cheese and crackers. We really enjoyed the Horseshoe Chardonnay and there Rocky Ridge Collection Tradition, and Tempranillo.
