Impossible to get extra crispy when you ask… I have even expressed how important when ordering. They ever tell the kitchen. Mine are always the same as everyone else at my table.

Ok so we found this joint. It reminds you of a Zaxbys. We found that the chicken is seemingly of a better quality. The fries weren’t as good thou but the hospitality was on point. All the cashiers explained the menu with recommendations. They bring your food as well and have tv’s for all to enjoy. We would come back I’m sure.

Straight and to the point… The Chicken Tenders are tasty, but the service at the Winter Springs location is absolutely trash! Slow Slow Slow, sure i understand your order is freshly made, but when i call ahead for pickup, i except my order to be ready when picking up in time frame communicated by your cashiers — I shouldn’t have to wait. I’ve called ahead to this location numerous times, and it’s always the same long wait, I’ve gone grocery shopping to see if I take longer to arrive, i wouldn’t have to wait… NOPE still waiting. Shame on me to keep trying, I live in WS but the Altamonte location your promptness is worth the drive!

I LOVE this place and the location in Winter Springs is one of the best yet! Very friendly customer service and always a pleasant experience here. I enjoy getting the Magoo’s wrap and so does hubby. Always get extra magoo sauce! (because you need one to dip your fries in, duh).
They have crushed ice which is also a huge plus in my opinion.
I think there is a special during the week where you get a free milkshake if you order a meal between 4−6pm… but don’t quote me on that.
It’s a little hard to get to right now because of all the construction but hopefully that won’t last long.

Made a quick stop by this Winter Springs location to grab some to-​go orders. The employee at the register was extremely friendly and helpful. I saw her check the orders to confirm they were correct before putting them in a bag for me which I was thankful for. The grilled tenders I got were full of flavor, but a little on the small side. I do like that on the larger meals that include coleslaw, they allow substitutions since I’m personally not a fan of it. Clean, fast, friendly service and tasty food!

You will never have a better chicken tender, honey mustard, or toasted bread. Honestly, Huey’s is far better than Zaxby’s (and that’s saying a lot!). The sweet tea is perfection, and you get a decent amount of food for the price.

I love the grilled tenders at hueys. They are very tasty and a healthy choice if you go grilled. I order the 10 tenders grilled. 43 calories per tender. 430 calories for 10. 70 grams of protein! (I called and confirmed the nutrition info) and the price is not that bad. Nine dollars for my 10 tenders. Im all about healthy and finding the caloric intake of meals in different restaurants.
Oh and if you go on tuesdays its free tea tuesdays! Not a bad deal.

I order take out from Huey Magoo’s at least 3 – 4 times a month. I always get the fried tenders and garlic bread. I haven’t tried any of the other sides because the chicken is so good I don’t even need the other stuff.
I have only had the fried tenders because they taste like my homemade fried chicken. In fact I don’t even bother making it anymore because these are just as good without all the work!
Service is usually pretty good. Once in a while I might get the wrong sauce but the tenders are ALWAYS FRESH and HOT. So good. So very, very good.
If you haven’t tried them, do it! You will become addicted for sure!

Convenient to the house. The fried chicken strips are always, always, always, piping hot and cooked to perfection. Mainly college kids working who have a great attitude. The soft ice is always a plus.

Great chicken every time. The grilled chicken is just as delicious as the fried. Today I got the 8 piece meal and shared it with my 13 year old daughter and we were both full. My 17 year old son got his own 5 piece meal and couldn’t eat all the fries. The garlic toast and fries are good too, but they only give you a little coleslaw. On Tuesday’s you get free Tea –which also is good. Another good thing about this location is if someone doesn’t like Chicken tenders, there is a Tijuana Flats next door and outdoor eating. Sometimes, part of our party will go to Huey’s and the other part to TF and then we eat outside together.

I can’t even begin to describe how amazing Magoos is! We eat here probably at least once a week, and it’s incredible. My husband loves the chips, but I stick to the standard of fries and garlic bread.

We went here today and it’s as expected. the fried chicken strips are delicious. You cant lose picking one of their sauces. I am at the point where I would rather have more chicken and really don’t want the bread or fries anymore. So I think next time I will buy strips alone. Their deals do save you a buck and you do get sauce, so it wont be easy figure out. They take our discount card for 10% off so that helps.
I have been to Zaxbys and they are close to the taste of Huey’s, but rather go to Huey’s.
