Recently got our taco fix at Tijuana Flats. My wife ordered two tacos with Mahi and chicken while I got the megaburrito with chicken and refried beans. I will suggest if you order for pick up get the salsa on the side because my burrito got soggy. Both of us were satisfied with the food, very tasty(minus the salsa that made my burrito somewhat soggy). We also got the Trio, which is chips, salsa, queso, and guacamole. Overall the food was good and filling, the employees were nice and the service was quick.

Tijuana Flats, one of many restaurants I visted on my vacation to Orlando was a fantastic local place serving various Latino dishes with nice outdoor and indoor seating arrangements. I enjoyed the Bangin’ Chicken Burrito, wet with chipotle sauce and their Green Ghost(Super spicy!) Sauce from their hot sauce bar. Super flavorful, super affordable, definitely a great local chain!

This place was delicious!!! I was a first timer which I had briefly mentioned & they brought out chips with queso, guacamole, & salsa to try for FREE! Plus the sauce bar was amazing. I will definitely be returning.

I’ve been dinning at this restaurant for some time now and went to this location this past Tuesday for Taco Tuesday. Who can beat that price right? Joined some friends and attempted to have a decent experience. Came in and ordered, there were no seats available since it was busy night. They had seating outside at Subway which we were fine with. The staff was nice and helpful. The only thing, I got food poising by their soft beef tacos(with everything on it). As soon as I ate the taco, something seemed off. I should have stopped eating at that point but I was famished. Im six months pregnant and doing everything I can to stay healthy. I never would have guessed THIS place of business would give me a horrible food experience. Im now concerned for the well fair of my child and myself. Just caution yourself when eating here.

The Dr. Phillips location is better. This place smells musty. The outdoor seating area is dirty. If you sit next to the windows of the restaurant, be prepared to share your meal with food scraps and cobwebs. My hard taco shell was stale. The guacamole was fresh and the chips were too, but my chicken tasted off, like it was just a little old. My guy’s chimichanga was mediocre, according to him. The jalapeños were old and dry. It’d been like 8 months since I was at a Tijuana Flats, and this bought me another 9 before I go back.

Love Tijuana Flats! This location was very clean and the service is what pushed it up to 5 stars! My family had never been there before so we grabbed the menus and a table just to go over it. In just a few seconds, someone came up and asked us if we had any questions and looking at my mom’s confused face, she offered us a picture book since their menu didn’t have pictures of the food. The picture book was amazing — it had all the ingredients and large pictures of the food(seriously — I had never seen these at any Tijuana Flats and I have been to at least a dozen around the state). I usually order the Taco salad with blackened chicken(avocado dressing of course), but the picture of the tostada was mighty enticing so I gave it a try — best decision ever. They are like mini chicken loaded nachos. With five of us ordering, our bill was amazingly low(my mom thought it was an error at first) and I even had a coupon from the Sunday Orlando Sentinel for 5 $ off. We ordered dessert afterwards and both their churros and their flautas were great(and only 2.99 a plate for 5 or 6 pieces each — we had trouble finishing them). Will definitely be back for more soon!

I really only order one thing which is the 2 tacos chips and a drink special they have on Tuesdays. I usually just get two plain beef tacos and they are always enjoyable. The staff is nice and everyone always greets you with big smiles. Clean but gets a little packed at times. Overall I would eat here again.

Ok, never been before but decided to take a chance on Taco Tuesday… bad idea. It was crowded but moving, decided on a burrito. Loved the crushed ice and the queso with my chips. The chicken was bland just covered with hot sauce. My coworkers said the same about their chicken and steak in their meals. A little seasoning of the meat would do wonders.

When looking for a quick and fresh lunch TJ Flats is the best. The cheese dip and chips must have opium in them as they are so addictive! This location packs out so be prepared to a line and filled up tables, but the line goes quickly. The music makes it fun, but not great for an intimate conversation. Good for loud kids as the music will drown out their noise. Yummy cupcakes next door if you have a sweet tooth.

It is really hard to go wrong with Tijuana Flats. I mean, if for no other reason than Taco Tuesday! $ 5 for taco, chips and a drink? WIN!!! My go to items are the blackened chicken tacos, steak tacos or a salad. Their food is always fresh tasting and the quantity for what you pay is fantastic. I’m never left wanting more! I really enjoy their salsa & guac, and their chips are the best. Tijuana Flats is loud; so don’t go there expecting a relaxing, quiet evening. Even if there aren’t a lot of people there, the music is loud and the wall decoration is also loud(how can walls be loud? easily. crazy murals!!).

No idea this place can survive with chipotle on the market. The food tastes bad and got sick every time I’ve been. Never again.

Food is good, but Casselberry Tijuana Flats tastes much better! The only thing better at this location is the queso. Like all Tijuana Flats this location features the amazing tip jar at the counter. Leaving a tip here is not neccessary though. I’ve been here many times mostly because of the location, so trust me when I say the service at this Flats is near non existent. So no need to tip. If they do come to your table, it’s before the food is delivered. I just got my drink. hell no I don’t need a refill yet! Good luck getting a person to come to your table after you food arrives! You’ll find yourself looking around while 7 employees are behind the counter not paying any attention to your table all while you’re sitting bone dry on your beverage. Since nobody is coming to the table, and I’ve been sitting here not eating my food because you guys can’t run a refill station, I have to get up and go stand in line to get a refill, just to be ignored by a few, then finally get my drink with plenty of soda on the outside of the cup to get my hands all well sticky. This is all after I left a $ 4 tip in the F***ing jar! So I learned my lesson that day. Leave your tip at the end of the meal. Then you won’t be pissed off when you find yourself standing in line for a refill, because you know you kept that $ 4 in your wallet. Simple FIX: Just put out a drink machine already! You can’t seem to fulfill your business idea. It looks great on paper, but poor execution! Just let people get their own refills as they need them. You aren’t doing anyone a favor by making them stop eating their meal, to go get a refill, because you can’t train your staff to check tables consistently. You can also put out a trash can or two because it’s easy enough for people to discard of their trash. You guys make running a restaurant look difficult. Drink machine and 2 trash cans and your problems are solved!

The staff was great! The place had a different concept, it was a little dark inside which went with the theme. Even though this is not traditionally a place where you have a waiter, the staff came by several times to ask if they could get me anything else. Good experience.

Most well run TFlats in town. Even when the line is to the door(quite often on Tuesdays), the food is always fast to come out and the service is on point. We have 2 little ones and never hesitate to come here. Each time my wife and I dine at another location, the service is good, but it’s always great at the Lakemont location. They always go the extra mile and are very attentive. Our favorite entrees are the blackened chicken flautas & the steak quesadillas. Save room for dessert — the cookie dough flautas are sure to hit the spot. Enough to share too — or bribe the little ones.

This review based on comparison to other Mexican-inspired fast food places. As a concept, well-done with interesting salsa bar — something for everyone from mild to intensely hot and emergency care needed soon! Quick and friendly service(fast food, remember) and good tasting dishes. Enjoyed the somewhat random non-Mexican-inspired mural on the long wall. Covered outdoor and indoor seating available.

I have passed by a number of these establishments throughout the city and finally had the chance to dine here. At the door we were greeted and given a menu — she explained then menu and the specials. The bangin’ chicken salad caught my attention. I ordered that with jalapeños, olives and avocado ranch dressing. It was a very nice sized salad with an edible bowl — delish! A sample of the chicken chimichanga was very good as well. Overall the food and experience was very good — I can’t wait to test out the other menu items. I believe that I have just found my new favorite local fast food chain.

The vibe in this place is kinda rocker-chic. It definitely has a strong local following. The staff were all friendly and made us feel as if we were some of the«regulars». The place was clean and well maintained. You could tell the management is excellent. We each ordered something different. For appetizer we got the trio. The quest was amazing, and the salsa and guacamole were really good, too. The chips were fresh and crisp and perfectly salted. I could not stop eating them! My husband said the grilled mahi mahi fish tacos were excellent, and my chimichanga was pretty good. I got as assortment of the salsas from the salsa bar, and they added the perfect touch of flavor for my chimichanga. The kids got the quesadilla, and it was the most favorable chicken and cheese quesadilla I think I have ever tried. The other two adults in our party ordered dishes I can’t remember, but they said they were fantastic and everyone ate every crumb. Mondays are kids night and the lady making the balloon animals and doing the face painting is definitely the best I’ve ever come across! She was excellent! Anything my girls asked her to make, she did! 3 year old asked for an airplane hat, and the lady made it! 6 year old asked for a kitty cat hat, and the lady made it! Along with many others. Thank you Unilocal

I feel like they desperately need to clean their menus, its so gross! I try to minimally hold the best I can! Best to have sanitizer on hand or wash hands before eating! I tried their«Noritto» bowl. I wasn’t too impress, it was too much meat with less rice and beans. Definitely don’t like the rice they use either. I would suggest asking for extra rice and beans if you decide to get this item on the menu.

Of course Taco Tuesdaze is the best thing ever but this spot can be a usual before hitting up Costco or anything in Winter Park. I want to say the hot sauce bar isn’t as big as some of the other TF’s in the area BUT they have the buffalo chicken hot sauce which is pretty money. Get the Dos Tacos on soft wheat toritillas with Blackened Chicken and Powerlite cheese and sour cream. Salsa is mild but super tasty, spice it up with hot sauce from the bar. Queso is always delish.
