The absolute best experience at a Latin establishment I’ve ever had. The food is extremely fresh, and the service is great. Our server was very pleasant. But seriously, when I say the food is good, believe me! I’ve been to numerous places in Orlando(including Lechonera), and I have to say this is far better only because the food is fresh and tastes homemade. This is the first time I’ve ate at a place where they serve your more meat than rice! I love it! Can’t wait to come back.

Immaculate clean spanish diner that serves very good latino food. Ordered the penil, white rice, black beans, rice and beans, platanos, chicken empanada, beef empanada, flan, café con leche and fresh orange juice. Everything thing was fresh and yummy, a bit pricier than I’m use to for this type of meal, but everything was on point. Service was great, family atmosphere and place to get a home cooked meal, large portions for sure so bring your appetite. This will definitely be my new favorite spot for my spanish cravings, can’t wait to explore the menu more.

Amazing. Delicious sandwiches, appetizers, and coffee. Super friendly and helpful staff. Boyfriend says it is the best sandwich(of all sandwiches) he’s ever had.

Went on the recommendation of my cousin and her Cuban boyfriend. This place did not disappoint. Hailing from Tampa where the original, sorry Miami, Cuban sandwich was born in Ybor city, I know a good Cuban sandwich when I taste one. I’d been searching for months, moved up to UCF as a grad student, and felt homesick not finding my favorite sandwich. But no more. Authentic bread, flavorful sandwich, and served piping hot. Will come again. ((Served traditionally with mustard, but they will add mayo upon request if that’s your fancy))

Great Cuban food. Went for lunch on a weekday. It is a very small place with maybe 10 – 15 tables. Staff was friendly and bilingual. There’s roughly ten parking spots. Latin music playing in the background. There was a small TV on the wall but it was turned off. The quarter chicken was seasoned nicely with crispy skin. Rice wasn’t dry or wet and the black beans were perfect. My enormous lunch was $ 6.99(it may have been the lunch special. I just pick the first thing that looks good) and included a soda from the cooler. They have a large selection of sodas including many South American/Caribbean drinks. You put your own plates away next to the trash, exactly like Panera. Don’t know if the bathrooms are accessible to guests. They probably are, but I didn’t see any signs. Kind of a strange policy — but she told us to pay for our food after we ate. So don’t forget to pay before you leave! They take Visa/Mastercard, but I didn’t see an Amex Accepted sticker anywhere. Small businesses like this prefer cash anyway. Now, BEVERYCAREFULWHENPULLINGOUTOFTHISPLACE. It’s located on a blind corner with traffic going about 35mph. If turning right, be prepared to get honked at by grumpy drivers who have to slam on their breaks. Not sure what else you’re supposed to do since there’s really no way to know if traffic is coming. That’s really the only downside to this place. Otherwise its very good.

This place was awesome, Lots of home cooked Cuban goodness. Huge portions! Good prices, clean and friendly service. We are from out of town and we want to come here again before we leave to go back home. If you like authentic home cooked Cuban, this is the place.

I used to live down the street from here when I lived in Orlando. When I flew back from Oregon this fall for a friend’s wedding, this was a MUST stop place to eat. SOOOOGOOD!

I come here for lunch and breakfast. Always good food, good service and good prices. I’ve lived in Miami and have eaten some of the best Cuban food you can get without actually going to Cuba and this place is right up at the top of my list of favorite Cuban food.

If you’re wanting a good home cooked Cuban meal. this is the place to visit in Orlando, FL! There’s not many good local Cuban places here so when you find one, you have to make it known. The food is all traditional Cuban food cooked daily. I’ve had them cater my Noche Buena dinners(Christmas Eve) and some weddings/events I’ve planned. They’re only open for Breakfast & Lunch every week day and some Saturdays. If you’re a student at Full Sail University next door or at UCF down the street missing some of your grandmothers home cooking, go visit Rincon! You’ll be very satisfied!

Nice little Cuban café on Forsyth rd near Winter Park. They offer all types of Cuban food and even a mini buffet were you can choose the meat(s) you want to eat and some sides. When I came i had the Cuban sandwich and it was pretty good and made fresh also the prices are decent and they offer Hispanic sodas or just regular soda. From the out side this business looks like a home or some shop that you would not know it was there unless you looked it up, in the inside it is tiny but yet never to busy that you cant sit and the people there are friendly and have never had a bad experience here. They do accept credit cards or cash and have cafecito Cubano(Cuban Coffee) Every time I come in here to eat I have a good meal and I leave happy.

If you have been searching for very good Cuban food, you’ve come to the right place. This restaurant is not fancy, and the a/c needs some work but don’t let that scare you away because the food is fantastic. The owners are obviously proud of their cuisine and rightfully so, it is simply and unequivocally delicious. Mascitas-fried pork chunks, Ropa Vieja, Grilled Chicken with Onions-please slather with mojo, rice and beans of all varieties, tostones, maduros, and the yucca is to die for. Everything I’ve had has been first rate. The portions are generous and we typically leave with a to-go box of closely guarded leftovers. Don’t forget to end your meal with a Cuban coffee, heaven in a tiny cup. It’s small, it’s tucked away but go forth and find this diamond in the rough, you will be glad you did.

Tiny store front, so it may be better to get your food to go. Good tilapia lunch special and very affordable.

I absolutely love this place, from the outside it really looks like nothing and I’ve got to admit, the name really turned me off at first too, anything with the word ‘cafeteria’ in the title is gonna really push me away. I finally was forced to go by my boss and wow what have I been missing. First I got the Media Noche, delicious, and the bread they use is unlike any bread I’ve had anywhere. But the REAL highlight was when I got the Ropa Vieja, it was so juicy and HOT, it was perfect and for that price, you really cannot go wrong. Now as for cons, its really not enough to drop this below 4 stars but enough to hold me back from giving 5. These are issues that usually crop up at mom and pop type places so I really can’t complain too much: the last time I went the drink machine was broken, so I had to get a can of soda which I felt was a tad overpriced, also they were all out of Yucca that day, which made me sad :(but again, mom and pop place, can’t complain too much. So if you’re on this side of town and want to try something genuinely different, I highly suggest this place!

Great little place to have lunch. Have not had breakfast there yet, but after lunch today, I’m looking forward to it! The restaurant has about 10 tables that seat 4 people each. There are a few TVs as well as music playing(can’t beat the 80’s music). The inside of the restaurant was very well kept and clean. Now for the food, I had Pollo Asado which consisted of rice with black beans, some tasty grilled chicken that had been marinated, and fried sweet plantains. For the price we paid, I was FULL by the time we left. Very nice staff, I believe its a family owned business, so all about supporting local businesses in lieu of chains. They are only open for breakfast and lunch but don’t let that keep you from coming, its well worth the trip.

I work at Full Sail and drive by Rincon each day going to and coming from work. It’s a small-ish place and looks a bit non-traditional for a restaurant. A group of us from work were trying to decide where to eat lunch and we decided to give Rincon a try. The restaurant is very nice and clean. When we walked in Maribel greeted us and was very sweet and charming. I had the Pollo Asado chicken with rice(nice mix of black beans and rice), fried plantains and potatoes. Food was really, really good and everyone working in the restaurant was very nice. Finished off lunch with a cafecito(small cup of strong, sweet cuban coffee) yum! The rest of my posse had cuban sandwiches and they all were very good. Would go back here again, and again, and again. As I mentioned the restaurant looks a bit non-traditional from the street. Don’t let this stop you from stopping in and enjoying breakfast or lunch. You’ll be very happy you did!

Went with a friend to get my mofongo fix and it was quite delicious. I had mine with an order of pernil which was dripping with mouth watering flavor. The mofongo had bits of pork and tasty enough to eat without the chicken broth but I had it anyways because I like the combination. It was definitely a wonderful meal. My friend ordered the mofongo but she got the beef with onions instead and the flavors were equally delicious. Her frozen parcha drink looked yummy. The restuarant is a smaller venue with about 8 tables and has a very cozy feeling to it. If you need a mofongo fix, I’d recommend calling ahead to ensure they have enough onhand. Apparently they go pretty quickly.
