I was looking for a place with an outdoor patio where I could bring my sister and her dog. I don’t remember how Braccia got on my list of new restaurants to check out, but pizza sounded good that night so we decided to give it a try. The restaurant is dog friendly and had a water bowl out on the patio. The waiter was even nice enough to fill it with fresh water for our picky dog. Immediately after we sat down, the waiter brought a basket of flatbread crisps, which we were told is the same as the pizza crust. It was a great snack to start off with. I couldn’t convince my sister to try the brie with apricot pizza, so we went with half shiitake and half Canadian ham with mango chutney. They will do half and half pizzas, but you pay the price of the more expensive pizza. We also ordered a tropical salad. The salad was okay but nothing special. We were glad we ordered the dressing on the side because the honey mustard really didn’t seem to fit with the fruit. A lighter dressing like a vinigarette would have been more appropriate. The pizza on the other hand was excellent and I loved both variations that we ordered. I rarely eat plain pepperoni pizza because I prefer more interesting toppings and Braccia really came through with the flavors. The thin, light crust is great because you don’t fill up on dough, but it was also a bit messy to eat and we ended up using a knife and fork. If I’m craving a regular thin crust pizza, then Braccia probably won’t cut it, although it does still fill you up. But for a unique twist on pizza with interesting flavor combinations, then Braccia is the place to go. The specialty pizzas are a bit on the pricey side, but they’re big enough to share.

This was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had in an airport. Our servers, Ashley and Claudia, were amazing! Their service was fast and the food was great. And on top of all of that the girls even helped celebrate my sister’s birthday with free dessert. Love it!

Found the vibe to be excellent! Off morse blvd the décor makes it simply exquisite! I enjoyed the staff member who was nothing other then amiable. Other the raving about server and ambiance I would like to say the wine was full in flavour and from a boutique vineyard in Chile. Something I would have to say is quite enjoyable. With all put out In my review the only thing not stated was my pepperoni pizza which paired perfectly with my Cabrnet Sauvignon. Love!

Awesome new place! The pizza was delicious and unique. Very thin crust so you can eat a whole pie and not even blink! But re bruschetta was my favorite. It’s a must as an appetizer for the table. South American wines pair surprisingly well with the Italian-inspired food. Great service and beautiful atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Food, service and ambiance was amazing! Totally recommend it. :) Btw, they have great taste for decoration and music. From what I understood there is live music every Friday and Saturday from 7:00 until 10:00. You won’t regret stopping by!

I am a local that went on the scenic boat tour and after the ride wanted some lunch. We stumbled across the restaurant and liked the great seating area out on the patio. We placed our order for the four of us. We ordered the cheese pizza, pasta with mushrooms and chicken and the salmon. Server came to our table with the food in a reasonable amount of time. The pasta dish did not have chicken which we had asked for. The salmon was WAYUNDERCOOKED. The server came to check on us and the food… I pointed to the salmon. It then took them 25 minutes to bring out the replacement. It was cooked to temp but it was saturated in grease. We took a gamble on deserts. Strawberry ice cream and fresh churro. Not sure what made them think we did not want to eat our deserts all together. The ice cream came out first then 10 – 15 minutes later the churro was on the table. Got the bill and was shocked they did not comp the salmon. I will never go back not will I recommend this hole in a wall. I wish I could give them 0 stars. Take your $ 115.00 for lunch and go anywhere else in winter park.

Went to Braccia with my partner and a friend on a Sunday night. The restaurant was not busy and we were greeted and taken to a table inside immediately. The space is fairly small, but decorated and styled in a way to make it feel larger and airy. There was some beautiful art on the walls that was available for sale. My partner and I shared the Brie with Apricot Pizza(under the specialty pizzas). Our friend had a pasta dish with shrimp. The server wasn’t particularly friendly and asked us to repeat what we had ordered as if she was unfamiliar with the items on the menu. My partner ordered a beer, I had iced tea and our friend had water. This is where the train starts to go off the rails… my iced tea was instant. I can almost forgive that, but for $ 3.10 I was expecting something that wasn’t powder swirled around in a glass. Our entrees arrived and they were all just OK. Our pizza wasn’t particularly tasty considering it had two of my favorite things on it… brie and apricot jam. It was just sort-of blah. I did like the thin, crispy crust, so maybe a different pizza or topping would be a better choice. Our friend’s pasta with shrimp was the size of an appetizer with 4 shrimp arranged around it. The server asked if I’d like more tea, even though I was disappointed, I said yes. Once we were done we were offered dessert which we declined and asked for our check. My partner and I on one check and our friend on one by himself. When she brought the checks we had multiple surprises. Our friends pasta with shrimp had an $ 8 add-on for 4 small, basic shrimp. They were not remarkable or special in any way. My instant tea was $ 3.10 and she charged me an additional $ 3.10 for my second glass of crappy instant tea. $ 6.20 for two sub-standard glasses of tea is pretty unforgivable in my book. Looking at our tab, the math didn’t add up either. We had about $ 32 worth of food, but our check was for $ 52. I asked her to come back over and she said it was correct. I said there’s no way a $ 21.50 pizza, a $ 5 beer and 2 $ 3.10 teas add up to $ 52. She seemed irritated that we’d challenged her on it, but went away and came back with a corrected total. Was she trying to scam us for an additional $ 20? No way to know for sure. There are some good reviews for this restaurant, so maybe it’d be worth trying. If you dare… don’t order the instant tea, get something other than the Brie/Apricot pizza, expect to still be hungry after a pasta dish and make sure your check is accurate. Not sure we’ll be back.

Have you ever tried Brazilian pizza? Me either. Well that is until we visited Braccia Pizzeria & Ristorante, one of Park Avenue’s newest restaurants. We recently tasted all that Braccia has to offer from savory and sweet pizzas to hand-made pastas and other Brazilian-Italian fusion dishes. A relatively small space, but one that’s filled with charm and authenticity. This cross-cultural fusion is certainly one of a kind in town and a spot worth visiting if you’re looking for something different for dinner. Here’s a wide range of what we sampled and recommend if you’re craving some international flavor. Beef Carpaccio: Paper thin beef slices with mixed greens, caper sauce with homemade pizza crisps. Speciality Pizzas — Portuguese, Chicken with Catupiry, Brie with Apricot and Canadian Ham with Mango Chutney: A menu flooded with pizzas served on a flaky crust akin to a delicate cracker. Vastly different than America’s version, this pizza is made with a thin crust, a light pomodoro sauce and toppings with nods to both Brazil and Italy. Fish en Croite: Fresh Cod in a chestnut crust accompanied by a Sicilian risotto. A mild and flaky fish infused with flavor thanks to it’s chestnut exterior. Paired with the creamy risotto, this dish is sure to make you a fan of Brazilian-Italian cuisine. Tucked right behind Park Avenue, Braccia Pizzeria & Ristorante is sure to mix up your palate!

Really wanted to like this place but just can’t. Perhaps it was an off day, Sunday. Ordered the pizza Parma, had evough ‘stuff’ on top but the cracker crust just crumbled and seperated from the top of the pizza. Tried the pasta puttanesca… a bigger disappointment… way over cooked pasta, no flavor at all… puttanesca is a little spicy when it is done right… just chunky tomatoes, capers and whose tasteless back olives… not sure why they think they are Italian… maybe Brazilian menu is their real intent here.

We eat on Park Ave weekly. Lots of great places. Braccia is unique. Small, friendly and a great Italian/Brazilian take on pizza and pasta. My wife has to eat gluten free– likens G-free pasta to cardboard. This was completely different. She raved about her pasta dish. The pizza is ultra thin crust– more true Italian. Growing up in NY, I am a pizza snob. This is one of the better pizzas I have had in Orlando. Small wine list, but nice. Great service– trying hard to stick in Winter Park. Highly recommend.

There is no other Italian restaurant on Park Ave like Braccia Pizzeria. You gotta have to try this new place! A beautiful environment with great architecture. Very charming, great music. They brought a totally different concept of pizza with a lots of different ingredients. Very thin crust and very light, it makes us wanna have more and more. Pasta is delicious. Well cooked and very fresh. The Pasta with Gorgonzola was my favorite. They also have a full menu with tasteful entrees. Make sure to leave room for the delicious dessert. We have to come back to try all the other items on the menu. Totally recommend.

I recently visited Braccia, an Italian pizzeria and restaurant with a subtle Brazilian influence on certain menu items… very unique! It’s tucked away off of Park Ave and has such a nice environment inside. I love what they’ve done with the décor. Even the music had a relaxing Brazilian/Portuguese theme to it. Full wine and beer list, pizzas, salads, pastas, sweet pizzas and more are available on the menu. The waitress quickly explained that their pizzas have very thin crusts that are crispy, and may need to be eaten with some plastic disposable gloves(available in a box on the table) because they can be a bit messy. The kid in me got very excited. We were interested in trying the Chicken with Catipury pizza($ 16.50) and the Penne with Parma($ 11.90). The pizza was very creamy, had small amounts of pulled chicken, and was one of the least greasiest pizzas I’ve ever had. You want to eat the crusts, which reminded me of a giant tostada: almost cracker-thin. I started using a glove but later went bare handed. My mess was minimal. Or at least I thought so. :) The penne was perfectly cooked! And the pesto sauce wasn’t just drizzled on… it was cooked or simmered in the sauce, as the noodles took on the color and flavor well, with the prosciutto giving it a nice boost in saltiness. Nice presentation on the pasta. For dessert we ordered the Soft Ice Cream Cheese with Guava($ 6.90). We ordered it to share, and the waitress let us know it was very small. Because of the price, we decided to just order one. It was very good!!! Ice cream cheese is exactly as it sounds, and the guava had little bits of hazelnut. Delicious! Overall I enjoyed this restaurant. I want to try more items… and hope to see a bit more Brazilian influence into the meats and other items in the future.(I love Brazilian and Italian… so the fusion Possibilities gets me excited!) I’m glad they are starting conservative though… as it helps introduce people to the ingredients. I am excited this place is unique from all the other Italian restaurants on Park Ave. It’s certainly not just«another Italian restaurant.» Check it out next time you’re near Park Ave.
