I love this salon. It’s gorgeous, relaxed, and they are even environmentally friendly. Celina is such an amazing stylist. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my color or cut. She knows what she’s doing and is passionate about her craft. If you’re looking for a new stylist, someone who knows what they’re doing, give this place a call.

Came here for the first time, and I already can’t wait to get my hair cut again.
Located in the heart of Hannibal Square, this eco-​friendly salon is surrounded by other high-​end salons. Aeffect Hair is modern and industrial, but not in a cold or standoff-​ish sort of way. The environment is cool and laid back. The fact that it is below street level was really exciting to me. Walking down the stairs, you are led into this new-​age salon by the sweet scent of high quality hair products (as weird as that sounds, that was a really great feeling).
The owner, Celina greeted me immediately, offering me something to drink while I waited. I chose fresh juice. I love the atmosphere at Aeffect. It’s laid back and comfortable, abs you can clearly tell you’re in a high-​end salon.
Celina made me feel comfortable in her chair. I came in with long brown hair, and left with a shoulder length textured cut. Celina added complimenting highlights by hand which turned out beautifully.
Overall I am extremely happy with my experience at Aeffect Hair. I can’t wait to go back again. Beautiful salon, great stylists.

The best experience I’ve ever had at a salon was today at Aeffect. The salon itself is industrial, minimalist and immaculately clean. It is a Davines salon and I was excited to witness that it really lives up to true eco-​friendly standards. Everyone who works there is pleasant– there are no bad vibes or condescending attitudes when you enter. Celina is so down to earth, patient, understanding, educated and just generally fun to be around. She listens and she cares, and best of all, she actually knows what she’s doing– she had really informative answers to all of our questions and constantly gave us tips and tricks for our individual hair types. She had no problem giving me exactly what I asked for, and the same for my boyfriend who has long hair as well. We both have had terrible hair cuts in the past and were nervous to sit in the chair again. Fortunately, we have our go-​to place for all of our hair needs in the future.

Came for the first time after a year-​long salon quest… and think I may have found my home. Love the vibe, the location, the treatment and… Oh, the results! :-D It is awesome that they use Davines products (amazing), and my hair clippings are sent to a company that recycles it for oil spills and refugee pillows?!? Whaaaaa??? They are speaking. to. my. soul.

I had a great experience here! The cut Celina gave me looked EXACTLY like the picture I brought in and she really took the time to teach me how to style it so I can maintain the same look. The salon has a really soothing vibe – like an underground oasis. Definitely my new favorite salon!

Well Aeffect Hair, where should I begin?! The quality, attention, and KNOWLEDGE given to me is superb. My hair has never looked better. I truly look forward to coming to my appointments because not only can my hair be serviced, but I get to pampered with scalp massages, local juices, and local coffees! Update: Went in for another root touch up and left feeling like a million bucks! Celina really works magic! I always get compliments after leaving her salon! And it’s a fun vibe inside, they’re always playing my favorite music jams!
This salon isn’t like others I’ve seen. It gives an edgy, industrial, minimalist, modern vibe. Straight from the get go walking down the stairs from street level you’re like ‘What’s this, am I still in Florida?’ Then even better it’s super Eco-​conscious and promotes recycling and has up-​cycled décor.
The staff aren’t uppity or pretentious but instead the opposite, warm, friendly and eager to beautify you all the while educating you on the local «what’s uppery» that keeps this town unique.
But I must admit my all time favorite thing about this salon is the owner, Celina! I have been following her for years as its only from her hands that my locks stay gorgeous AND healthy! From someone with a bright bold hair color, I know I must show my hair extra TLC and I get that from Celina. She’s also got me ADDICTED to all of the best Davines hair care products. Even if you don’t care about the health, texture or sexiness of your hair… You’ll want Davines because of all the smells it gives you. Just breathe it in. It’s like sunsets and puppies and love and happiness.

Aeffect is raising the bar for salons in Orlando. A welcoming, client-​focused atmosphere, combined with a business model centered around local, environmentally-​friendly, and sustainable products and décor. The stylists are experienced, and have training in some of the top education programs out there (Davines, Sassoon, Aveda, Paul Mitchell). Highly recommend!

Really cool industrial vibe, doesn’t feel like the normal boring salons in Winter Park. Almost feels like New York when you walk downstairs the brick building to the front entrance. Almost everything in the salon is recycled material and/​or eco friendly. All the wine, beer, juice, soaps and stuff are all local which I think is an amazing way to support local businesses.
It’s hard to find a good hair stylist that really listens to your needs & creates what you want with an artistic spin! Colin showed me that you can be blonde without having the old 90’s stripey head full of highlights. He used the Balayage technique on me and I’m absolutely obsessed with it. I’ve never had so many compliments on my hair color. If you don’t want to be blonde or have long hair he also does amazing really edgy cuts and colors. You can find his work on Facebook. Very fun, low-​key environment! I didn’t feel weird walking into this salon like most of the times I do. But there is no lack of attention to detail when it came to my hair. It was perfect. I’m going to tell everyone about this little secret tucked into Winter Park!
