Went here with the family for breakfast, everything was great except for the steak in the steak & eggs plate. You should probably avoid that. If it wasn’t for that I’d rate them higher. But everything else was great. The hash browns were perfect, a crunchy layer on top and soft in the middle. Can’t ask for better hash browns than that. They served me some of the best grits I’ve ever had. Definitely going back for more of them. The waffles and eggs were PERFECT! Don’t shy away if you’re on the fence about this place, you won’t be sorry. Just be aware, this place gets packed quickly so be prepared to wait for a booth or your can sit at the counter if there is space.

I had not been to a Waffle House in many years, but I am glad I went to this one. The sunny side up eggs were cooked perfectly. The smothered and covered hash browns were excellent. It’s 4 in the afternoon and I want to go back for dinner. Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day, and I eat it any time of the day.

The first time I came here, I was 16 years old and on a date. I didn’t know better. I had no specific standards. I just thought it was cool to go to an ALLNIGHTRESTAURANT! ANDITWASOPENAT4AM! The eggs were fresh! The coffee was hot! The t-bone steak was juicy! Wow! Fast-forward 15 years and another boyfriend took me here, but it was to be ironic and not really go on a date. Bottom line, Waffle House is great for people watching, par breakfast food and line cooks who know their sh*t and take no sh*t while slinging hash(browns), eggs and flipping hot waffles in their irons. It’s a well-oiled machine here and very rarely is your order messed up. It seems that the two times I’ve been here the waitstaff were unsure of procedure and it took a while to get service. I really can’t speak to how great/awful the food is, because I’m crazy picky, and there are only two ways you’re going to get me in a Waffle House: it’s dark or I’m drunk; preferably both. But I’ve never had anything bad, but the service always borders on sh*tty. But what can you really expect from the«awful house»?

Needs work and some training of kitchen. Toast burned and smoked up entire restaurant. Coughing. Credit goes to exhaust system because it cleared quickly. Jasmine our server was only bright spot. Food took 30 minutes for first plates. Took another 10 minutes for rest of order. Restaurant was filthy. One cook slamming stuff and talking back to any server calling orders. Jasmine and the food gave them the second star.

Food was good, but service was lacking. We were not greeted when we walked in. We sat in a booth and waited. The customers that came in after us got waited on while our server ignored us cause she was messing on her phone. I almost got up and left. We had to ask for the menu. Could not find what I was looking for and was finally given the«full» menu. Server got our order wrong and I had to explain it to her several times. If I ever go back there I want a different server.

Have you been to Waffle House lately… Before the smoking ban for restaurants in NC, I seldom visited Waffle House, but a few months ago, I joined the Regulars Club on Waffle House’s website, and they sent me a free waffle coupon, and now I visit there for lunch about once every month or so. They now have a $ 5 menu, that comes with a drink, and it’s pretty good food. Yesterday, I had the double chili cheeseburger, with hashbrowns and an ice tea. Good lunch.

Any time you roll into a breakfast joint at 4AM, even a Waffle House, ya never know what your gonna get. What I got here was the usually great Waffle House Cheese n Eggs, with an equally good helping of service. I know from experience it can be tough to be cordial this early, but the small staff here was that and then some. After a 10 hour drive from Michigan, it was greatly appreciated.
