Closed at the location provided on Unilocal! No longer in business which is sad, looking for a good yarn selection in the Winston Salem area.

One of my go-to local shops. Decent selection of yarns and fabric — which is a plus since I both knit and sew! They carry a good variety of yarns from fingering weight to bulky. I love that they have Noro yarn. Because with their colorways, I always like to see in person what I’m buying instead of online. They also happen to carry a local(Charlotte, NC) hand-dyed yarn. It’s good to see one local small business supporting another. The fabric is what you would expect from a good quit shop — I noticed Moda and a few other familiar brands. I’ve purchased by-the-yard from them and had no issues with the measurement on what they cut for me. They do carry sewing notions and knitting supplies as well. The staff is friendly, approachable and willing to help with whatever project you may be working on at the time. I also noticed that they offer classes, but have not taken one(yet).

Pretty small — half fabric and half yarn. Nonetheless, pretty good selection of yarn in various weights. Selection leans towards the higher end. I know nothing about fabric, so I can’t comment on their selection of that. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I’d recommend swinging by and checking them out.

Their yarn selection was mediocre. The women followed me around the store like they wanted to catch me stealing. When I bought some yarn they treated me like they thought maybe I would not know what to do with the yarn when I got it home. A rather unpleasant experience.
