I went to Greek Guys’ grill today. Not to my surprise, I was greeted with a smile. I am not a regular customer, but I was flattered when the cashier remembered my two favorite plates. She then proceeded to recommend the Turkey & Spinach Melt Sandwich, so this is what I ordered. Within 5 minutes my order was ready and fresh out of the grill. I recommend Greek Guys not only because of their genuine will to satisfy their customers, but because they succeed at this by offering variety of food made with fresh ingredients, and fast yet high quality service. I am a college student and I can tell you Greek Guys is always an option for lunch or dinner because they have fair prices as well!

Love this place. The call ahead and pick up window is super convenient. Their gyro is great as well as the chicken pita sandwich. Great salads and FRENCHFRIES! Never had any of the Mexican or Italian themes menu items unfortunately… They gyro is just too good to stray from.

I did not give it 5 stars only because this was my 1st visit. We went for the Gyros and we were not dissapointed! The Gyros is a combination of sliced lamb & beef in a pita with lettuce, tomato, and a tzatziki sauce which is the key ingredient. We were not dissapointed, it was amazing! My son had a chili cheeseburger which he loved. The strawberry shake was fresh, thick and creamy. The baklava was OK, it seemed frozen from the box and not fresh. The place has decent amount of seating, amble parking and the pictures around remind you of how beautiful Greece is. They have a big menu of pitas, sandwiches, burritos, pasta, salads and of course Greek plates. We will be back!

Stopped in while I was in the area and grabbed a gyro for lunch. It was done well. Liked that the tomatoes and lettuce were chopped and the right amount of dressing. Actually could eat it while on the go. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Ehh… it was ok. My fries were soggy. My pita with chicken was good but ask for feta chesse because it doesn’t come on standard. The chesse was $ 1.01 extra.

Look out Grecian Corner! There’s a contender in Winston-Salem The tzatziki is a tad garlicky, but this isn’t a drawback for me. Soulvaki is tasty and tender. The gyro is fantastic. Wait staff is friendly and speedy. They have a drive thru window if you call your order in ahead. Convenient, well lit location too. I wish they were open on Sundays, but you can’t have everything I guess.

I ventured today to experience their breakfast menu and I am so happy I did! I had the sausage and egg burrito, but it was a very pleasant surprise! It was made to order with eggs, sausage, cheese, home fries and salsa! Every bite was better than the last! It was big enough to share yet the same price as other places. The home fries are inside the burrito, which was nice because I didn’t need to order them as a side! Now having exceptional breakfast, lunch and dinner has made this a must for me! The service is fast and friendly as well. The one thing I noticed was the drive thru is more for calling in your order vs ordering there because if not, you order at the window. Since they make it to order, I don’t mind the wait at all!

Although the food order was wrong, it was good. Ordered a gyro pita without the cucumber sauce. Got the chicken pita with sauce. Please listen when people place their order.

First thing you notice is the cleanliness of the restaurant and the very friendly staff. Pleasant environment. They do have a drive thru which appeared to be popular. I had the gryo plate which was good, not great. Everything was hot and fresh but the gryo plate did not come with lettuce, onions, etc. If you don’t order the side salad($ 1.50) all you get is meat, sauce, and a pita. I chose fries as a side(included) which were good. The whole meal, with drink, came to $ 12(optional salad included). They do have a varied menu with burgers, melts, and even burritos for those who are not up for Greek food. Overall, I’d come back and considered it a good value.

Visited GGG on a Friday for lunch. They had a nice little crowd. You order at the counter and then they bring your food to you. Both women who I interacted with at the counter were.. . curt. Certainly not friendly nor welcoming. I ordered the All Three and Greek Salad. The food came out relatively quickly. The meal included the following: Greek Salad: dressing was good but I don’t care for a shredded lettuce salad. Lots of feta which I appreciate. Pork & Chicken Souvlaki: very juicy with great flavor Tzatziki sauce: just kinda plopped on the plate. Not terribly attractive. Tasted good with the pita and with the souvlaki Spanakopita: what I was most looking forward to; major let down. phyllo was too soft and the bottom was squishy like it had been reheated in a microwave. Flavor was ok but texture was off to me. I would return and get the souvlaki and might try some of the other items on the menu.

My first encounter with Greek Guy’s Grill was quite delectable. I ordered the Gyro with a side of the potato salad, to go. The order came up within less than 5 minutes even though they had a restaurant full of people. Everyone was very friendly and personable. The price of the menu items are unbeatable for legitimate Greek food. The have a wide array of menu items and I will definitely have to try something new next time. They have the option to call in your food and pick it up at the drive-thru. I will most likely do that since I have to go back to work with my food anyways. I will definitely be back to visit Greek Guy’s Grill!

I picked up a gyro to go while I was in the area. Service was fast. The gyro was ok. It had a lot of sauce on it. The sauce was ok. They also use green onions which were different but I like red ones better since they offer more of a crunch. I was saddened to see that meat was not sliced off of a spit but pre sliced meat was used. I think it was the frozen kind you can buy at the store. In a pinch it was ok but I would go else were in WInston for a real gyro.

Maybe something happened upon my visit that isn’t typical of this establishment because this place has good reviews. Either way, my visit on Labor Day 2014 was horrible. Upon entering, the restaurant was blazing hot but clean and orderly. I ordered and went to sit down to wait on my food and realized a thermostat was on the wall. I then allowed curiosity to get the better of me and walked over to check the temperature. The staff has it set at 76 degrees! With a small kitchen in a small space that easily makes the temperature unbearable. I would have normally adjusted the temperature myself but it’s on a lock and key!(Oh well., why should a customer be comfortable?!?) I ordered a chicken souvlaki platter and waited to be served. The chicken was small and super salty.(Not what I am used to from Mad Greek in GSO) I was up charged to substitute a Greek salad for onion rings;(which I was told I could do) however, the menu lists a Greek salad at a higher value than onion rings!!!(How odd) The onion rings weren’t good and tasted as if they had been frozen when I know they were made there. Maybe it was the freshness that had been compromised? All in all the experience I had at this location wasn’t reflective of the good reviews listed by fellow Unilocalsters. Since I’m rarely ever in this area I probably won’t return.

I have had both Breakfast and Lunch here and both are great! Service was friendly, and fairly fast, which is good at lunch. The Gyro I had was good, just wish it was freshly shaven off a Gyro Spit. Chicken Slovakia was good as well.

Food was fresh and tasty! Family owned and the family takes pride in what they serve. Onions rings were homemade and not greasy, very light and crispy. Traditional greek fare

New place. So they still have a few things left to take care of like adding the desserts they have on the menu. So far they only have Baklava. The Lemonade on the Menu is really Pink Lemonade, and that is just run of the mill. I had the Cod Sandwich which wasn’t bad, Potato Salad was like taking 1 part of mildly spicy pimento cheese and adding 2 parts of diced potatoes and mixing well. Different. As was the Spanakopita and that was pretty much on par with Athena’s maybe not quite as good but a different flavor just a bit more exotic tasting. It was served lukewarm and I think it would have been better hot. They have a LOT of other things on the menu including a large selection of American dishes. And speaking of dishes they use real ceramic plates. I thought that was a nice touch. To be honest I was hoping to find excellence here but so far I haven’t.
