I nervously tried a «lash lift» and color this weekend and am so glad I did. The results were amazing! It made such a dramatic difference and I can’t stop staring at them. I look more awake and much younger, even without any makeup. Today I added just a tiny bit of mascara and now they really stand out. I am completely hooked and plan to see Gia(owner and my tech) as often as necessary to keep this great new look going.

This place has changed my beauty routine for the better! I went in skeptical about getting these done because I didn’t know if the cost would be worth it. To wake up every day and feel more beautiful because of your lashes is amazing! I do love how they look and feel. You wouldn’t even know you were wearing them. The owners, Annette and Gia, could not be more lovely woman. They have created such a clean and relaxing space. I often take a nap during my treatment because you are cozy and listening to relaxing music. It is expensive and a time commitment. I have three young children, so finding time to get fills isn’t always easy, but I love it in the end!

I am torn on writing this review because i dont like giving reviews that are at all negative but i do think my experience was strange enough that i should let people know. I’ll be honest too that I chose 60s lash in part because they are the least expensive«normal» looking place around(they charge $ 150 for a full set whereas everywhere else charges $ 250-$ 500+). That may have not been the best decision ever. When i first arrived i couldn’t figure out where the door they wanted you to enter was so i knocked on the one that was visible to the street because there was a lady at the desk and she never once looked up which was odd. So, it turns out you go through this door on the side that has a giant sign for a pediatrician so i kept walking by it thinking it led to a drs. office and not the eyelash place. Once i got inside the back door, the lady at the desk was texting on her phone and never looked up or greeted me. I had to say excuse me am i supposed to take my shoes off(there were shoes by the door so i assumed). She goes oh yea and then goes back to texting. So im walking in bare feet to the desk where im handed paper work and nothing much else is said. It was all really strange. Technician comes to get me and is very sweet. She asks me a couple of questions and i let her know i want a pretty natural look. I also asked if they had pictures so i could see what the different looks were like. She said yes but there was no point in showing them to me because everyone’s eyes are different. Ok fair enough i guess… although i wanted to see them lol. My guess is there weren’t any pictures. So, she starts and im trying to relax but someone’s cell phone(i think lady at the front) keeps dinging loudly(you know– the annoying Iphone text message noise). Then the technician next to us is talking super loud with their client during the whole appt. Oh, that is until they started to move furniture lol. They started trying to drag what i think was the chair/table you lay on around. My technician never said anything to me during the application. Total opposite of lady next to us lol. At one point one of my eyes started burning pretty badly so i let her know and she said it was probably just fumes but i dont think checked anything. When the girl finished and i looked in the mirror I was shocked. They werent natural looking at all like i had wanted and they were super long and clumped together in places. Not awful per se, but not what i was wanting. If this was natural I would be scared to see dramatic. I very nicely said i wasnt crazy about them but as nice as the lady was at first she didnt even want to listen to why i didnt like them. I was quickly ushered out, paid, and left as the next client was coming in. I ended up calling another local eyelash extensions place because no one at this place seemed interested in trying to help fix things and they were nice enough to fit me in same day to fix them. The other place actually did say the tech. at 60s lash did a fairly good application and all it really took to fix things was carefully combing out the clumps and rearranging just a few lashes. The only issue was that the tech at 60s lash did apparently get some glue at the base of my lower lashes/eye and that is likely what i was feeling was burning during the original appt. But in other words, it was a simple fix. But because i felt like i wasn’t being listened to and didnt feel like they were willing to even look at them, I wouldnt go back. Its too bad too because all it would have taken to keep a customer is just to listen for 5 minutes and not usher them out and immediately start doing the next person(when you have been told the last client wasn’t thrilled). Good news is I found somewhere else to go. They are more expensive but I felt like they listened and that is so important.

I just had a full set of eyelashes. They look georgeous! I feel so pretty and don’t even need eyeliner. Annette was so welcoming and was great to explain everything and answer my questions. Lana was amazing. The work is so delicate and she did a wonderful job. I am hooked. The shop is beautiful, white décor. You feel special walking in, in addition to Annette and Lana being so friendly and helpful.
