Best Teriyaki I’ve had in a long time. I got the white meat chicken plate, it was great in quality. No gristle or cartilage. Big portions, and so cheap. Lots of variety and quick service. Will definitely be back.

Sweet customer service when you order any of the boba slush, they give you the extra slush along with your original drink, sometimes they pass out sushi samples and they don’t make anything it until you order it. Very cute place and perfect for spontaneous casual bite. Plus i love the way the manager says«thank yooooOOUUUU»

This place has nothing Japanese. The sushi is not fresh. The teriyaki is so bland and plain. The lady at the cash register that looks like the owner can be rude and nice at the same time. Very disappointing. Wouldn’t come back. Prices are cheap but you get what you pay for.

Got the House Plate w chicken beef and shrimp over rice and two types of salads, potatoe and traditional lettuce. All is good and they even brought me a piece of tuna sushi as I was eating. Will be back!

This place used to be 5 star hole in the wall place, with the previous owners. The quality of the food has definitely changed and the overall cleanliness of the place has changed. I lived in Winnetka for about 10 years and had frequented this place quite often. Too bad, I used to love their California rolls and Yakisoba.

Shrimp good, chicken good. Beef has a taste that’s a bit strange for me. Lychee boba is good, and they even give you extra in a small cup.

Cute, very simple place. This is not the best, but I do find myself going back quite often. Not a fan of their California Rolls, but the main dishes aren’t too shabby. A– for effort.

This place is pretty good for a really affordable chicken teriyaki bowl. The chicken bowl is $ 3.99 and comes with rice, cabbage and grilled onions. Chicken was flavorful and tender with a nice char. The portion was a good size for the price, enough to fill you up but not over the top. They have plenty of tables to eat and enjoy your food. Staff was so so and the restaurant was clean. They do not have restrooms for customers however.

My brother and I love this small little Japanese Spot! Family owned place that serves friendly, yummy, quick Japanese Cuisine at super cheap prices. One of my favorite places to grab lunch from when I’m visiting home. The food is really good!!! My favorite is their chicken and shrimp bowl! Be sure to try it out if you’re in the area!

I’ve been coming here for at least 20 years and I hate to say this but since the new owners took over it has definitely changed. For starters the portions are way smaller. Im sure this place wasn’t cheap to purchase but that’s not where you cut corners. I also feel as if the recipes have slightly changed. Im probably tripping but then again all the cooks are different so who knows. It’s a shame because my family and I use too love this place. Hopefully they get the message and return to there old ways but I doubt it. I guess we’ll just have to find a new japanese teriyaki spot.

This place is walking distance from my parents’ house and they recently discovered this place and order from them frequently. It’s not the best, but it’s cheap and close by. I usually get the teriyaki chicken and California roll combo. The chicken is ok, the cali roll is ok. My daughter likes their shrimp plate. They have boba which is nice, but I ordered the Thai Tea once and it tasted off like they missed an ingredient or got the mix wrong.

Saw this place after shopping at food 4 less and decided to give it a try… I was pleasantly surprised I ordered the beef bowl(or also known as steak bowl) which was only $ 4.99!!! They have the option for the plate which is double the size but the bowl was a perfect size. The sauce was really good and the best part was the meat was really tender! Definitely recommend this place. Also while we were waiting for our order to go the lady gave me a free crunch roll that was amazing! They also serve a lot of different kinds of boba

I’ve had a hankering for teriyaki beef, and I’m always on the hunt for a good teriyaki place in the San Fernando Valley. I feel like all the really good ones are in the San Gabriel Valley. Good olé trusty Unilocal lead me to this place. All the reviews suggested it was cash only, that was not the case when I came here. They do accept credit card. I ordered two teriyaki steak plates to go. I really liked that it came with a small salad, yakisoba noodles, rice, and potato salad. Wow! All that for about $ 8. That was awesome. The reason I didn’t give this place a complete 5 star, was because the beef was a bit gristly, but overall the beef was cooked just right and the teriyaki sauce was flavorful. The owner was very sweet and friendly. I’m definitely coming back here.

Teriyaki Masuda Ya is just okay to me since I’m spoiled by the teriyaki places in the San Gabriel Valley. The place is not packed but they are fairly busy during lunch time. They have a decently large menu to select from. I ordered the beef and chicken plate. The portion was really small for the price. You can even get a better deal and better tasting food at Flame Broiler. The only nice thing is that they give you a salad on the side but the dressing is just okay. The service is good and the food comes out pretty quickly. The lady working the counter was super nice. Overall, I would say skip it and find a Flame Broiler or another teriyaki place.
