We received our order: boneless sweet & spicy chicken wings and a 3 piece chicken tender with a biscuit. First, they forgot the biscuit. Second, 2 out of 3 of the chicken tenders were like HARDRUBBER. He bit into it and it was hard, felt like biting into octopus. What the hell is that? Will never order chicken from there again, if ANYTHING.

I’ve been coming to this Church’s Chicken ever since I moved into the neighborhood(Roscoe /Winnetka is where I’m at) and have thoroughly enjoyed everything they offer for sale. The chicken sandwiches(the spicy ones!) are my favorite and you can’t go wrong with the buffalo bites. The value menu is pretty good too, affordable and cheap and delicious… …That being said, there are almost never more than 2 or 3 people working at a time it seems(as far as I can tell) and so the service is so slow! It’s unbelievable. I had to wait 15 minutes once for a pretty simple order, and I overheard that the workers actually messed the order up, so that’s why it took so long. The lady gave me an extra biscuit to make up for it, which I appreciated, but honestly all I wanted was my food on time! In short, great food, poor/slow service.

Food is ok. HORRIBLESTAFF! The lady the helped me was named Selena. Apparently this place does not honor any ads that come in the mail. Online coupons or Advertised prices as stated by Selena. Not only was she rude but she forgot to give me my change. After asking her for it she denied it and acted as is i was lying. After realizing her mistake she gave me MY money. My food came out and the strips were baby sized. They looked as of it was a kids meal. Will not be going back to this location. HORRIBLE! I should not have to deal with this attitude over a piece of fried chicken.

I was so excited to introduce my coworkers to Church’s. I really wish this wasn’t the one I took them to. When we walked in around 12:30ish, the place was empty & I could see in the distance trays filled with chicken. I thought ‘awesome! We’ll get in & outta here in no time!’ Well, that totally wasn’t the case. I guess they really wanted to make our food to order. Which, was weird. I think the staff was literally just the woman at the register & one cook in the back. Needless to say, for us 3, it took over 30 minutes for our orders to be ready and that’s just insane for what’s supposed to be a fast food place. My only solace was that our food would at least be fresh & tasty. Nope. Wasn’t the case. The breading was as crunchy & flaky as usual, but the chicken itself was flavorless & full of water. Definitely not the Church’s I’ve come to love. It really was bad. My french fries? Soggy and over salted. They also didn’t put in any sauces(or napkins for that matter) which I thought was really odd. And don’t even get my started on the deep fried cherry pie. That could’ve been the worst dessert I’ve ever had from a fast food joint. They put in way too much ice in my drink & then didn’t even fill it up all the way. After those salty fries, that drink really didn’t last long. They also charged an extra 50 cents for me using my debt card so after it was all said & done, I was paying over $ 10 for my meal which was crazy. Bottom line is that I like Church’s and I will continue to tell people to go there. But I will plead with them to not go to this location. I hate doing this, but it must be said: I wish you could give half stars on Unilocal because this is definitely a review that I would give ½ stars to if I could.

We live really close to this location, so on a night when I was being lazy and my boyfriend was hungry he decided to come here to get food. This was my first time going to a Church’s chicken. And I can confidently say, it’s going to be my last. We went through the drive-thru and had to repeat our order to the lady 5 – 6 times before she understood us. The boyfriend ordered the three piece chicken plate and I ordered some biscuits. The chicken was greasy, barely warmed up and super salty. And they accidentally added a piece of the spicy chicken into his combo. The biscuits were small, and also extremely oily… They were supposed to be honey butter biscuits but we’re definitely lacking in either flavor. Will not be going back.

I just went into this place with my boyfriend and they refused us service, saying they were closed even though they had their«We’re Open» signs on and they just helped some guy who was standing in front of us. At least the place smelled clean. Thanks for wasting our time though.

Wife picked up some Church’s chicken the other day and to our suprise they were out of spicy?! How can you run out of spicy lol… Well at last this time they didn’t burn the fried okra. The fried okra was nice and crispy! However the butter biscuits were stale and not very good this time. I guess for a fast food fried chicken place you can’t really expect everything to be good.

Good chicken at cheap prices. I usually buy it mild and the taste is comparable to Popeyes. The biscuits are yummy with drizzled honey on top and their apple pie is deep fried amazingness. I haven’t had bad service so far. Usually the people here are mellow or are just trying to do their job. No fake energy which is fine by me. This place attracts weird people time to time, indoor and in the drive thru. I got pestered by an old lady for money one time, and hit on by some pervy teenager the next. It’s located in a somewhat shady area so it’s not really unexpected. Just keep your expectations low and come here for the food and always order to go.

The chicken is very good if you like crispy/less salty chicken(than KFC and Popeye’s) but can seem plain tasting if you are used to the others. The spicy has a good kick and is spicy but you can get sick of it pretty fast so I either get all original or half and half. The cole slaw is average. The mashed potato and gravy is awesome. The biscuits unremarkable. Service… ok to bad, so keep expectations low and remember you are there for the chicken, not for the service. Tuesday special can’t be beat.

Only went to the drive-thru — the chicken was really good, just a little too salty.

The only good thing that came out of this place, and that is still highly debatable at this point, is the mashed potatoes. Now for my list of negatives in their order: 1. I decided to go through the drive through since it seemed convenient, why they can’t calculate and tell me the total when I’m done placing my order and before I drive up to the window to pay is beyond me. 2. The girl at the window tells me my total is $ 10.22, then walks away as I try to Hand her my money, another high school kid comes up a minute later and informs me that she did not calculate my order right and the total is actually $ 11.04 … Seriously? Do they calculate this by hand??? Whatever. 3. I get my meal and my soda which comes with one of those«peel to play» prize stickers on the cup… Who the hell peeled my game sticker??? Hope it was a «you win nothing please play again»! Sh*theads. 4. The first piece of chicken was great, that perfect amount of grease you expect from a fried chicken drumstick… In my second piece I pulled out the tip of a feather… And then a second one. At this point I lost my appetite and threw my food away. How does this happen? Gross! 5. Here comes the big one… Less than an hour after enjoying my feather filled meal… Food poisoning! Thank god I had nothing planned the rest if my day, because I spent a good 4 hours running back and forth to the bathroom. Overall, if I could give negative stars I sure as hell would! The only good part like I said was mashed potatoes, but then again, never know if that added to my pain filled evening. Never going to this place again!

I don’t think the photos do it justice. Actually I don’t think the decoration does it justice. It’s in a pretty questionable side of the valley(heck at least it isn’t panorama city lol). Either way, just stopped by this afternoon, the drive-through was pretty slow but was understandable as they were making my order fresh. I would rather wait and eat fresh than eat the dried and old chicken served at the local KFC. The drive through person gave me a couple extra treats for waiting. I read one of the reviews said sauce is extra– I’ve stopped by this place twice before and I’m never charged extra– so they must have asked for a lot of extra sauces. If you’re going to walk-in, which I highly recommend after ordering on drive-through, you would prefer ordering to-go as I have heard there have been several reported thefts in the area. The inside of the restaurant looks somewhat abandoned and their color choice really doesn’t help them much. I think the prices are definitely better than KFC and local fried chicken places, I love their creamy jalapeño sauce! I actually find this chicken tastier since it’s a LOT less greasy. Though, I’m not a big fan of their fries. Customer service is great, contrary to many posted reviews. Maybe I’ve been lucky the times I’ve stopped by or maybe the reviewers below me have been unlucky, or maybe personnel has changed? Who knows just saying A+ in service from me.

Church’s Chicken has got to be the most bland-tasting chicken that I have ever experienced. I understand it’s a fast food joint but so are Popeye’s and KFC and both are highly superior choices. Legs, things, strips, I’ve tried everything here. Everything is bland as bland can get. The fries are decent but once again, much better options are available without having to look very far. The only redeeming quality of Church’s is the biscuits. They are pretty divine — but not divine enough for another visit. Comparatively, in terms of prices, they are probably the best but that just stresses you get what you pay for. You’re better off buying the same thing at Popeye’s for just half a dollar or so more. I’ll try a different branch but not much more else to say about this one.

Personally not such a big fan. Would have to rate it. Popeyes first, then KFC then Churches. Too Bland. Not enough spices. On the Upside, they give the best prices for chicken.
