The Modernism Show takes place once a year at The Winnetka Community House in Winnetka, IL, usually the first weekend in November. The show opens Friday evening, November 6 and runs through Sunday, November 8, 2009. If you are a fan of modern art, Art Deco, furnishings, paintings, jewelry, this is a show not to be missed.
Their website provides more information about exhibitors, etc. There is an entry fee of around $ 15.00. Refreshments are available, too. The community house is a nicely arranged venue for the show, where you will find both local artists and dealers from other places like New York and Los Angeles. I’ve attended this show for the past three years and have never been disappointed.
