Mmmm I love Jakes pizza! I usually get the Western Special. This pizza features bacon, onion, and sausage with a BBQ sauce. I am really picky when it comes to BBQ sauce and I really like this sauce. However, some people I have tried to introduce it to have not liked it. It is a little sweet, but not smoky. I hate liquid smoke. See if they can give you a small sample of the sauce if you want to try it. If you are not into BBQ sauce, I assure you the pizza is good with the regular sauce. They do a good job with the thin crust. I haven’t tried other crusts. The product is consistant at other locations. Great stuffed pizza. Looks like it should be on every stuffed pizza menu and taste as good as it looks. The thin crust is alright. Delivery is super fast and usually get it 20mins before the time frame they give us and have never waited longer then an hour. Service is great. We used to be regulars and they knew us every time we ordered. No real complaints here.

Ordered here a bunch of times and cant complain. Probably the best stuffed pizza around the area. Thin crust is not bad. The cheese sticks are alright. Even had there beef and chicken sandwiches also and pretty good. Delivery is super quick. This is the place to go when you dont want to pick up at the pizza place down the block who doesnt deliver.

I’ve had Jake’s on a few occasions. It’s the eptiome of average in my book. Last time I went, I had the stuffed Pizza. It was slightly chewy, and very cheesy. The Sauce was definitely lacking; it seemed as if they used tomato sauce and just poured it on top of the za. Sauce is big for me when I’m having pizza, and honestly, it was the lowlight. As for the thin crust, I’d say it’s 3.5 star. Good cheese, and cooked well. I can’t speak for the buffet and bar, but they seem to draw a decent crowd. I probably will not return because my favorite pizza place is right down the road.

If you’re looking for a nice slice of hot pizza and a frosty cold beer to accompany the sporting event you want to watch, this is most definitely the place to go. The owners are very nice people and remember faces that have been there after a handful of times. The prices aren’t bad, considering they have great pizza and a good selection of beers. The pizza uses fresh ingredients and is noce and hot when you get it. If I may suggest a pizza and beer combination, I would go with the Hot Italian pizza and a Berghoff Red Ale on draft . It is family friendly place, as I’ve seen many after-soccer-game gatherings and has many«locals» almost all the time. Overall it is a fantastic place to sit down and enjoy pizza, beer, a game, as well as a friendly atmosphere.

Re-visited here last night for a nice refreshing beer while waiting for out to-go pizza. Grossed out by the man sitting at the bar who got up and took a piece of pizza off a dirty table and consumed it. Sad, I would love to see this place be awesome… If they delivered I think their popularity would improve.

Live nearby but had never gone in, but decided to give it a try one night. I’ve been hooked ever since. I think their pizza is great and their thick cut onion rings and homemade potato chips are great snacks. Have tried multiple other dishes like the chicken parm and everything has been very tasty with generous portions and inexpensive pricing. The owners are there almost every day and couldn’t be friendlier, always willing to change the channel on any one of the 7 plasma screens. Small game room for the kids that serves to keep them occupied and happy while you sit back with friends and enjoy! Glad Jakes is in the neighborhood and we think it’s the best pizza in our tiny town of Winfield bar none.

Best pizza in Winfield! Owners are very friendly and happy to turn the channels on any of the 7 flat panel tvs in the restaurant. Plenty of other menu items to choose from if you aren’t into pizza. Very kid friendly with a small game room to keep them occupied while. All in all a great place to eat!

This place is just good, solid, or any other«gets it done» word/phrase you can think of. My brother and I went for pickup, and the place was hopping on a Friday night. This is place good for families, and there is a bar. You could find the«locals» there as well. This stuffed pizza we ordered was solid. It had crust that was chewy, cheese that gooey, and the sauce was«eh». The sauce was lacking for sure. The 3 components of a great ‘za are sauce, cheese, and crust. This one had good ratios of the latter two, but the sauce was weak, and kind of tasted like spaghetti sauce! I will go back for thin or pan, but the sauce needs an upgrade!

Great pizza from this place. I go here all the time. The lunch buffet is fantastic. Never that crowded and very reasonably priced. I tend to stick to the usual cheese, pepperoni type pizzas, however I recommend you try their Western pizza. They have it on the lunch buffet. It is delicious and now I order it regularly. If you have a chance give this place a try!

We had carryout tonight and it really hit the spot! I got a cheese pizza for my kids, a bacon mushroom one for the grownups and a Caesar salad. The pizza was hot, the ingredients were fresh and it tasted great! Believe it or not, my kids were disappointed that the pizza was cut in squares and not the pie-shaped wedges. What is that about? Is that phobia along the same lines as the food can’t touch other food on the plate? Get a grip! My Caesar salad was great, but it already had the dressing on it which I’m not a big fan of. They always put too much on. This dressing had LOTS of anchovies in it, which is tasty, but a bit too much for me. It was a BIG salad though, taking up every inch of the styrofoam square container. The dine-in section of the restaurant wasn’t very big and half of the restaurant is the bar. I noticed Wednesday nights are $ 3 Coronas and Thursday night is cheap Amstel beer night. There are several tvs and a nice long bar. The menu here is varied with pizza, other italian items, sandwiches and salads. I think we will be getting this a lot during football season!
