My copper pipes froze and I couldn’t get a hold of a hvac company. Rotor rooter wanted $ 500 to replace 20′ of pipe plus another $ 500/​hr if the pipes had to be thawed. He wanted $ 160 for diagnosis when I already knew that the pipe had burst. I ended up paying for the diagnosis and did the work myself. Cut about 6″ of copper pipe and added 2 couplers. Less than $ 10 of material. Never will use rotor rooter again.
