Amazing vineyard. Really small, impressive and special winery. It’s in the Chalk HIll area and the views around amazing. My group and I were renting their guest house for the week and were stunned by the beauty of the landscape, the amazing property and the wonderful quality of wines. If you go, make sure you give Molly (sweetheart of a dog) a big hello.

A new vineyard and off-​site winery in Chalk Hill. Beautiful vineyards with panoramic views overlooking Russian River Valley and Alexander Valley. The wines are very impressive considering the youth of the vineyard. Bordeaux-​style with elegance, bold fruit, good acidity and tannic grip. I tasted the 2007 Windrift, 2008 Calluna Vineyards Cuvée, and the 2008 Merlot Aux Raynald. All excellent and very fairly priced. You’ll need to contact ahead of time and ask for an appointment, but it is well worth it if you’re looking for something new and exciting.
