I just had a large canvas made up from our wedding photos from last November Kevin helped me create a lasting memory, He was also my engagement shoot and wedding photographer. On the day his assistant Daniel actually helped me into my dress with a crochet hook of all things, (to many buttons) and Kevin had some quick instincts to be able to fix one of my bridesmaids bracelets. They even helped set up some of the food. Being a backyard wedding we did most of the set up ourselves. They definitely go above and beyond what you you’d expect a photographer to do. Oh and there photos are amazing. Simple and elegant capturing the true story of your wedding making lasting memories. I have referred and will continue to refer Kevin from Blue Iris Arts to every one who may need a photographer.

The work on our engagement and wedding photos was beyond what we could have expected. Just recently, I hired Dan (who was Kevin’s assistant at our wedding) to do some intimate shots for my husband… the shoot was amazing and he was just as kind and professional as I remembered. Thank you Kevin and Dan for your wonderful work and you wonderful attitudes!!! These guys are definitely our family photographers and I would recommend them highly to anyone asking :)

I have now received my wedding photos and I can’t say enough about how amazing they are!!! Kevin and Max got all of the special moments exactly perfect! Many of my guests commented on how professional and accommodating they were.

We got our engagement pics today. I could not be happier! Even in less-​than-​ideal conditions (like million mile an hour winds & heavy fog at the beach) Kevin got some amazing shots. He was easy and fun to work with, and made us look at ease and natural even when we felt awkward about taking pictures. He coaches you in a way that doesn’t feel overly done, and still brings your personality into the pictures. Kevin & Blue Iris are awesome.

We met Kevin late last year and really clicked with him. We liked how organized he is and definetely seemed to know his stuff. We met a few times at Starbucks and there were no pressure as to which package to choose.
When came time to do our engagement shoot he had great ideas on how to pose. He also made sure he pointed out if we we had a double chin going on cause nobody likes to have that in their picture. At times he had to remind my husband and I to pick ourselves up. I didn’t mind at all. I’d rather he point it out then not and end up with doubled chinned pics.
When our wedding day came he and his wife were on time! that is important on your big day. They were very professional and all of my guests loved him. They mentioned that he wasn’t one of those photographers that get in the way and are obnoxious. He caught all the right moments and that’s what really matters most.

Extraordinary! As a bride, I was most nervous about selecting the right photographer. My thought was that photographs are the lasting memories of your wedding that get looked at and displayed and shared for decades to come. I want them to be high quality and capture the moments and people that matter. I also knew I needed the price to be reasonable. And I wanted to have a photographer who I felt comfortable around and I knew to be confident and attentive.
Even though I was determined to be very picky, can you believe I only met with one photographer? – Blue Iris Arts. With a few recommendations from acquaintances, his website portfolio and our meeting together, I knew he was the right person for us. During our first meeting together, he picked up on the details and the personal touches that were important to us in our wedding. And I was pleased that his wedding packages were so reasonably priced.
When the big day arrived, Kevin and his assistant arrived right on time and just started capturing great shots of my friends and family as we prepared and went through that beautiful day. It was pouring down rain all day, so we had to come up with a new location in place of our outdoor shots, and even with the changes, we were able to stay on schedule (maybe even ahead of schedule)!
During the ceremony and reception, the photographers got some great shots without intruding on the ceremony or our guests. And Kevin easily found the most gorgeous parts of the church building for some special portrait-​type photos. The reception was no different. I’m so pleased that these memories were captured so gorgeously. I almost want to print them all and wallpaper our walls with our friends and families’ smiling faces.
He provided us with an online viewing gallery where we can use our photo credits (included in the package) and order as many prints as we want. And being a photograph-​aholic, we will definitely be taking advantage of the ability to buy a DVD of all the images.
