When I was flying out of Hartford, I stopped by D’Angelo to pick up a lobster roll as my last meal in New England. Sadly, this lobster roll was not nearly as good as the other lobster rolls that I had in Connecticut. First of all, it was the mayo-drenched cold lobster salad lobster roll. It was also tiny(I literally finished it in 5 minutes — maybe 6 bites). The lobster was in tiny pieces, which is one of my biggest pet peeves. And the worst part is that it was very salty and left me very thirsty during my entire flight. The thing cost about $ 15 too. Yeah, I know, it’s airport food, what can I expect? The service was really bad too. The cashier was unfriendly and was arguing loudly with other staff members. So unprofessional. +1 star for serving a lobster roll to me at 7⁄8AM. +1 more star because the actual roll was tasty.

Awesome breakfast pockets, but the girl taking orders is super rude at this location! Her sarcastic tone was noticed by me and the other patrons. And her eye rolls arent appreciated at 9am when I’ve already missed my flight and have to wait around for 5 hours… just sayinggggg

Always friendly, fast, and convenient. Grab your coffee, water and food here. The employees are always a pleasure to deal with. Skip the dunkin donuts line!

$ 24 for a 6″ cold lobster roll and drink?! Was not very good. The cleanliness if the cooking/staging area was questionable. I will not be back.

D’Angelo is located inside of Bradley International Airport — post security. Ordered the Steak and Cheese bowl — basically their steak and cheese over lettuce and such. Easy to way to eliminate the carbs. The steak was kind of stringy and chewy — so it was hard to chew and eat. Not very satisfying. There is not much in the way of seating here — so we took our food to our gate and sat and ate at the gate.

I must admit I was pleasantly surprised how good the sandwiches are here. The staff working the afternoon of 6÷20÷14 was exceptional, very friendly and they made a great toasted Italian Sub exactly how I ordered it. You can expect to wait a few minutes while your order is prepared, they will call the number printed on your receipt when it’s ready. They are located left of the main security checkpoint if you go right you will run into the food court and miss out on a great food option definitely worth back tracking even if you’re flying out of gates 1 — 12.

Just stuffed my face with the chicken Asian teriyaki sandwich. Pretty tasty for a fast food sub place in the airport. My normal go to is the thanksgiving turkey sandwich with cranberry sauce and mashed potatoes but glad I switched it up today. The sandwich was super cheesy and the teriyaki was not too sweet. The only thing that I didn’t care for was that the manager was scolding the crew though they clearly had things under control. When there is a crowd, why embarrass people? Just my opinion!

The lobster roll wasn’t really a roll; it was lobster on top a sliced bread. There was a lot of lobster meat but I felt deceived because the menu said hot dog roll. Tasted decent for airport lobster but not worth $ 15.

Yeah I will go against the grain on this one. Violate my rule of never giving more than three stars for a chain. In fact I will create a list where this is #1. Best Airport Food in America! Used this airport to connect during a two week tour of New England, 9 states, tons and tons of seafood including lobster where presidents live and eat lobster galore. And I apologize as I know bacon isn’t supposed to be on a lobster roll as the New Englanders insist on mayo at a minimum to focus on the flavor of the lobster. I get it, I respect it. But damn this sandwich was excellent. If you look at my photos of the sign it looks like an in season only new thing that just started. 100% lobster. 100% Maine? I dunno wanna know! Crew said they just added it to the menu and son of a bitch! Was the best sandwich I have ever had at any airport. AAA+++! And I know a lot about tacos and sandwiches. This was the #1BESTSANDWICH I have ever eaten at any airport anywhere.

After a long morning of flying, I was ready for a nice hot breakfast. I was pleasantly surprised to see a few options here, major bonus points for their reasonable prices. I decided to go for the veggie, egg and cheese in a pita pocket. Standard sausage or bacon was also available, as well as steak, but that was a little pricier. Tortilla wrap was also avilable instead of pita. Veggies were a premixed sautéed peppers and onions, plus tomatoes added fresh. Huge«sandwich» for about $ 6 with a small coffee. Unlike one other reviewer, I didn’t find their coffee to be bad. Also the two staff members who were working there were both very polite and friendly. There was no line when I was ordering at 9 am. It did take about five minutes for my food, not bad at all. Overall, I was happy with my sandwich and would definitely recommend.

Didn’t even bother ordering after witnessing the behavior of the cashier interacting with another airport employee. If it wasn’t for the counter separating them it would have gotten physical. The insults and foul language being used was too much for me to even think about doing business with this establishment. Too bad, since I’ve been enjoying their sandwiches at other locations for years.

Good service. Crap coffee. Food is meh. Not good or bad, skip it and hit one of the three dunkins in the airport.

Actual visit 9÷20÷13. Cheese Steak was darn good. I think this was the best option at the airport.

Probably the quickest food you can get on your way to gates 20 – 30, other than candy /snack food. That said, be prepared to wait five or so minutes for your food(especially if you order a warm sandwich!) as sandwiches are made to order. I got the surf and turf(~4 inches of a lobster sandwich, and ~4in of a steak sandwich). The lobster isn’t anything special; just cold claw meat with mayo and shredded lettuce. It doesn’t skimp on the lobster though; you won’t be left with mayo and lettuce sandwich for your last few bites, which I greatly appreciate. The steak sandwich was similar; nothing special but pretty solid for a fast warm sandwich. The only option I was asked about was wheat/white bread, but the steak sandwich has onions, mushrooms, peppers and cheese mixed in). If you don’t like orange soda you won’t like the water; it comes out of the fountain machine an unmistakably gross yellow and tastes like unsweetened flat soda. Perhaps the fountain machine needs a cleaning? Service is professional. Napkins and other amenities are restocked pretty quickly. Pricing is on par with airport food; I wouldn’t normally spring for $ 13 for 8 inches of okay-level sandwich, but airports are airports. I’d probably stop by again if it’s convenient, but I won’t go out of my way to.

The food here is very good for an airport however if I was anywhere but in an airport I wouldnt think twice about this place. I enjoyed the animal style steak sandwich.

Needed to grab something quick on my way to Gate A26. D’Angelo’s was there, and there was a decent line of 2 – 3 folks waiting in line plus a handful of folks waiting for their orders. I mean, if so many other people are willing to eat their sandwiches, that’s a sign that it can’t be horrible, right? I got a Medium Vermonter with Sirloin Steak(Crispy Bacon, Lettuce, Tomato, White Vermont Cheddar Cheese and Honey Mustard). I probably could’ve survived with a Small, but my eyes are always hungrier than my stomach. The steak was good enough; the bacon was actually crispy, but I couldn’t taste any honey mustard. Overall, a halfway decent sandwich. But, $ 9? I guess that’s typical airport food prices.
