I was very fortunate to find Shear Perfection. I needed a haircut and was a walk in around a year and a half ago. Kim was available and I received the best haircut that i have ever received. Kim and Julie are true Professionals, very friendly and truly care about their clientele. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars.

I have been visiting Julie for my haircuts regularly for some time. She is always able to make time for my haircut whether it be staying a little late or getting in a little early. That dedication to her clients means a lot to me as I far too often find myself in need of a haircut when I had failed to adequately plan.
Now she has moved to a new location which elevates her space to be on par with the level of service she provides. Definitely looking to take advantage of some of the new services she will be able to offer in the much nicer location.
If you’re new to the area or just looking to try a new person cutting your hair, Julie is the last person you will need to try.

Julie is one of the nicest people I have ever known! She also gives a great hair cut. She actually listens to your requests about cutting your hair short or just a slight trim. I have tried Fantastic Sams and Hair Cuttery as well as Supercuts but none compare to her salon. Sure its a little bit more (just a tad more) but its worth it. Its also in a great location in Winchester near Ristorante Lucia and right near the Winchester Train station (A short walk). You can park in the Municipal Parking lot across from Town hall on mt Vernon St. and walk down the street. it will be on your left. Julie and Susan run a great store, and they were featured on WCVB Ch 5 show Chronicle in a show talking about stores, and businesses in the area that had the word perfection in them. Shear Perfection truly is all about perfection and it lives up to its name. If you’re looking for hair stylists who you will come to know and love, almost like family and get a quality hair cut.
