There are two great Mexican Restaurants in Winchester. This is one of them. Our server was very sweet and helpful, and the prices were very reasonable. The ambiance wasn’t fancy at all, it was definitely kind of a dive, but sometimes the dives have the best food and this is no exception. We loved all of the tacos(we tried them all), they have amazing soups and good guacomole. We will be returning regularly.

Bland food. Amateur service. Waste of time

Im from SoCal myself and this is a poor excuse for authentic Mexican food by my standards. I ordered fish tacos, my husband ordered carne asada burrito. Fish tacos were just ok. Carne Asada burrito had about 2 pieces of meat in it! Chips were hard and old. The nail in the coffin was the Mexi-techo music blasting! I prefer Mariachi please :)

Having grown up in So. California, I know good Mexican food. This isn’t great but its very good and the best in Winchester. I’d highly recommend it to anyone. Simple: Get a torta. More complex: Get a nice plate of carnitas. Best dish: Chicken soup! Also ask for the spicier salsa!

Want the real deal? This is it. Winchester’s very own hole-in-the-wall where the Latin crowd congregates for delicious, authentic food. Always fresh, always delicious. The sopa de pollo is gargantuan and picante — and delicious. Fresh, delicious sandwiches(the avocado with frijoles on thick, fresh-baked bread is a meal!) and horchata are my personal faves. For down-home, south-of-the-Border cooking, you can’t beat this joint! It is, as they say, riquíisimo! :)
