As much as I love this Wilton restaurant, the service is incredibly hit or miss. I’ve gotten a free extra order of their fantastic rolls on some occasions for being nice while on others the staff has intentionally given away my pizzas to other customers.(I wasn’t even late!) Given the number of other takeaway pizza places in Wilton Center, go to one of those instead if you’re in a rush.

Gotta love Wilton pizza. It’s a neighborhood family favorite, and rightfully so. My favorite is their Jazz pizza — it’s one of their specialties and never disappoints. It’s topped with ricotta, mozzarella, roasted garlic, broccoli and spinach. It’s my go-to when I come here, but to be honest, if I’m ordering a more«basic» pizza(plain, pepperoni, spinach), there are other pizza spots in the area that I would go to before Wilton pizza. If you’re stopping in for lunch or for something a little lighter than pizza, I highly recommend the Ragtime Panini. My friend and I will go here specifically for this panini — homemade Italian bread, tomato, mozzarella, basil, and balsamic — you can’t go wrong! Wilton pizza is great for takeout but they have room to sit down as well. In the summers, they have an awesome outdoor seating area and sometimes a live jazz band that plays while you eat. It’s a great atmosphere, and good for any group – families, couples, friends – and a friendly staff.

This will be an odd review, because parts of it are very good and parts of it are very bad. Of the three pizza places I’ve tried in Wilton, this is the best for pizza quality. Furthermore, if you call them and talk to a manager/owner, they’re very nice and try to be helpful. OTOH, when I’ve ordered online there have been problems. They run their online ordering through OrderSnapp and it just doesn’t work very well. There are two other pizza parlors connected through the system and it’s easy to confuse one with the other. Despite the nano-second nature of the internet, the orders don’t seem to reach the pizza parlor quickly. If the internet system a restaurant uses doesn’t work well, drop it and try another. So, two stars, sadly. The pizza’s good and the owner seems like a good guy. But for ordering and delivery, deal direct by phone or use a different place.

I’ve taken the kids there a few times and usually had their paninis which are pretty good(chicken with grilled vegetables has a nice selection of veggies and chicken is flavorful) but last time was so hungry that I sneaked some of kids pizza — it was really really good. We’ve done take out from Latizia’s but definitely need to try Jazzeria! Service and ambiance are ok(why put a mirror on the eye level in the booth? who needs to see themselves chew? huh?) But go, you won’t be disappointed. And if you are planning on sitting at the booth, make sure you look your best.

Have to give it a solid five for a local Pizzaria that delivers! When we want something casual at home, we call Wilton Pizza … it’s wonderful! The ingredients are fresh, the crust is thin … the salads are fine. It is our go-to Pizza place in Wilton — I would definitely not hesitate to recommend this restaurant. We’ve never been disappointed!

We’ve been coming to Wilton Pizza for almost 20 years. Perhaps 100 times. Very good food, really friendly and attentive service. And a quaint ambiance that exudes small time charm. Anyone who loves Italian food and music will just love Wilton Pizza.

Have been coming here with my cousin for many years. We come more bc it’s «our spot» versus coming for amazing food. The pizza here is tasty and there are lots of different varieties and toppings to choose from. Every pizza can be made gluten free, which is great! The gluten free crust is obviously not as delicious as their«real» pizza, but it is pleasantly crunchy unlike most sad floppy gluten free crusts I have encountered at other places. Salad was fresh but the gorgonzola was cubed, not crumbled, which struck me as odd. Cute little outdoor dining area. The coffee was disgusting… way too strong and not fresh. Adding a ton of milk didnt even lighten the color, pretty much undrinkable. Granted it was 2pm but if you are going to serve coffee you should just make a new pot instead of serving old sludge. We will still always come back here though for the nostalgia and yummy gluten free pizza. Have never been here for their famous live music evenings, but I hear it gets very crowded and lively.

All I can say is that this is the best pizza place in Wilton. It’s not that Wilton Pizza is so good but the others are terrible. I would stick with the pizza, the pasta dishes are mediocre at best.

This pizza is really good! Nice fresh ingredients. The place is nice with a really nice vibe. Love to sit outside and enjoy the food and weather. Great music played all day. Friendly service with a smile. But at the end of the day it’s the pizza, and eclectic sandwiches and amazing table bread that will make you want to return.

I really like their pies but I was very disappointed in the pasta dish I decided to try. It was the«Miles Davis» which sounded good on paper but I think fell flat. The sauce was way too watery. I was expecting a pesto like consistency and maybe more flavor in a denser sauce. I think the whole garlic cloves didn’t work either. The pies however are excellent. I haven’t been let down by the pies yet!

I often get takeout at Wilton Pizza. Last night I changed from a typical Meatball Parmesan on Panino to a «Frank Foster» on panino. Whoever Came up with this delicious concoction, thank you! Basically the sandwich is a chicken Parmesan on crunchy garlic bread With bacon, Wow! BB

Wilton Pizza is a town staple! Great for take out but very cozy inside(or outside in the summer) to enjoy a glass of wine with dinner. Service is very friendly and the food always arrives hot and in good sized portions. I always get their pastas — penne vodka and linguine bolognese are my favorites. Come in on a weekday for their dinner for 2 special — two apps, two entrees and a bottle of wine for $ 30! Try the zeppole for dessert(fried dough ball dusted in cinnamon and sugar).

We were on our way back from Danbury and were hungry for some lunch. Jazzeria Wilton Pizza fits my pizza craving since it’s on our way home. We ordered a 12″ pizza with 2 toppings; buffalo chicken and Jazzeria’s Special(meatball, sausage, mushroom, etc) and also a pasta dish, Penne Carbonara. Pizza was okay, I wasn’t wow by it. Buffalo chicken topping was decent, it had good flavor. If you ever had pizza at Colony grill, I think you would agree with me that pizza here is alright. However, pasta dish was great. It was very well seasoned and creamy. Bacon bits always make anything delicious! The restaurant is pretty small and very casual. It seems to be a very kids friendly place. I found a plastic gecco toy hidden inside the menu that was left by a kid from another table(and glad I didn’t jump thinking it was a real thing). There was also a screaming kid at another table while the parents tried to enjoy their lunch. This is definitely not the place to be bringing your pizza date(if you are looking for an intimate setting). :)

Nice quiet patio area to enjoy lunch/dinner on a beautiful day. Never had a bad experience here, food is always good. I have probably been here at least 10 times. As a fan of Jazz, I enjoy the Décor and music being played inside. Unilocalers, always remember that most people, by nature, are more inclined to dwell on the bad, not the good in their lives. For every 1 bad reviews, there are probably 100 people that loved the place. If you have had a good experience here, please Unilocal about it. This place deserves better than its current 3 stars.

I must preface that this is one of our favorite pizza joints, they have some really interesting and delicious creations… that said… I went there with my daughter for a quiet midweek lunch and had probably the worst Margherita pizza ever! it was a bit shocking actually. NOMOZZARELLA?!? NOSAUCE?!? just a plain ‘white’ cheese pie with about a fist full of chopped tomatoes and about two pinches of chopped basil… My two year old was starving was the only reason I didn’t have the patience to ask them to refire… Confused and Disappointed

Very good pizza and rolls. The sub I ordered once was surprisingly plain. Not that it was bad, but the bread just wasn’t the same quality as the rolls or the pizza dough. I’ve eaten there once and while the food was good, the service did leave a little something to be desired. It took quite a while to get our check and drink refills were also a little slow. Of all the times we’ve had takeout from here there are only a couple disappointments that come to mind: First, although the cookies in the counter by the register look good, I’d suggest keeping away as they were actually really disappointing(dry, crumbling). Second, there was one time I placed an order and it seemed(although no one came out and said this) that one of the items I ordered hadn’t been put in the oven with everything else so they had to hurry to make that, which slowed things down and the other food just sat there while we waited, but I’m going to give them the benefit of the doubt and assume that was just a fluke. In short, good for takeout, just don’t get the cookies.

Best local pizza hands down and I can’t complain about their $ 5 subs. My favorite is the eggplant parm which is on great bread and is enough to share with 2 people. You really can’t get a better deal anywhere and definitely not at subway. I recommend getting a large cheese thick crust pizza if you really want lots of special dough… Our family friends from out of town love it and always ask for it when they come to visit. Its so doughy and thick with lots of dough bubbles. I don’t order delivery as it may take too long. Been coming here regularly for years. Really can’t complain about anything. Its a local casual spot so don’t expect anything beyond that. If you come or order here, stick to the pizza or subs. I LOVE New Haven pizza but I actually order from here regularly more regularly. And I rarely give anything 5 stars!

I really liked the pizza we had here. It took such a long time for our pizza to come out, but the food was good enough that the wait didn’t matter as much. Now the pizza was good, but definitely not the best I’ve ever had. We ordered the Jazzeria Special with meatballs, mushrooms, onions, and peppers. The pizza came loaded with toppings, so loaded that we in fact could hardly pick up each slice. The cheese was good and gooey, while the sauce was slightly sweet and tangy. The sauce had nice chunks of tomato. The crust was thin and crispy with a nice puffiness, though not was chewy and puffy as a Neapolitan style pizza. I was very pleased with the food and would gladly come again, though the service definitely docked off some stars.
