Great food! Finally was able to get take out as they are always busy. The biscuits with country ham and hoop cheese are phenomenal. A true taste of the south. The interior looked atrocious but the food speaks for itself!

I trusted the reviews on Unilocal and was not disappointed. I had the tenderloin egg and cheese biscuit. I am a cross country driver and I guarantee I will stop back in when I am in the Wilson area. I have shared my picture of my sandwich on FB and all my friends are envious. The staff was also very nice and made you feel welcome. I am a Yankee who appreciates the southern hospitality

I must be the only person in the Wilson area that does not care for Flo’s. As I sat in the over crowded drive thru I noticed the truck was being unloaded, while the one and only person putting away the refrigerated food was away, I noticed cases of eggs, cheese, meat just sitting outside, while the lady was standing there smoking a cigarette. The biscuits are just so greasy full of bacon and cheese. I admit people love that kind of thing, but enough fat and triglycerides for a month in one biscuit. I won’t be going back, not so much because of the food, but because of the nastiness on the outside.

Flo’s traffic was wrapped around the building and down the road for at least a mile. I guess I’ll try again during my next visit to Wilson.

Step back in time and visit Flo’s. A nostalgic experience justifies stopping when near Wilson. The biscuits are truly the size of a «cathead» and can be more than one person can eat depending on your selection. The bacon, egg and cheese could easily be split between two people. Sweet tea and Pepsi products are plentiful. There was a line at the drive up but those ladies can hustle you through while giving you their southern charm. This place could teach the big box fast food restaurants on how to manage a drive thru. It doesn’t look like much from the outside but there are truly biscuit artists working inside. Open 4am — 2pm most days. Give it a whirl!

Fantastic biscuits. Don’t be fooled by the line. There was a line for the hour we dined at Flo’s. This is an absolute gem in Wilson, NC. I will certainly return here for any breakfast I have in Wilson NC

This is a sweet treasure hid in a small building! Seating is very limited but squeezing in to feel the love and enjoy the experience is more than worth it! Their biscuits are beyond amazing and all our food was fabulous! Don’t miss out on this place!

Flo’s is something special, and it’s almost a rite of passage to dine at Flo’s when you live in Wilson. Their biscuits are truly unbelievably delicious. It’s Southern food in its truest form. Flo’s is the real deal. I can’t tell you what the menu is like anymore, but I remember the mornings of my childhood eating gooey cheese biscuits, biscuits with egg and cheese and sausage and cheese biscuits. I no longer eat meat, but these were very fond memories! It was always a treat to get a Flo’s biscuit. Trust me when I say, these biscuits are classic and a must. If you are in the area, already live there or have otherwise never tried a real Southern biscuit, this place is a must. It’s a business that has been going for decades, and it’s well-loved by the locals. The prices are still unbelievably cheap for the amount of food you get. The only warning I have is that you may feel sluggish and greasy after downing one of these… but it’s worth. You probably don’t want to make a habit out of it though.

Lawd Jesus please protect my arteries is the prayer I say before I walk into this Wilson institution, it’s always packed, especially on the weekends. I always get the Tenderloin Cheese Biscuit which comes on a handmade Cat Head sized Buscuit with enough Hoop Cheese to choke a donkey and a huge slab of Porky Pig. Wash it all down with a sweet tea and skip lunch. This puppies stuffed.

Looks like a used car lot, but OH what they hide INSIDE!!! Super-Huge Biscuits with Baked-in Cheddar«Hoop» Cheese. 8 different kinds of meats(maybe more). Enough to fill you up for the day! Open Tuesdays thru Saturdays. They have a FEW seats inside but the bulk of their business is drive-thru. Don’t be afraid of their low-tech Drive Thru service(a friendly worker comes around each vehicle with a notepad taking orders — no one needs a menu cuz of so much repeat business!!) It actually ends up being faster than McDonalds!!! You can also park behind the restaurant(they have overflow parking, 1 block away) and go inside the restuarant for a menu or a sit-down order. If you come inside, it is AMAZING how they can fit all of those women behind the counter. It is also fun to watch how well they work. They have their system down to a science! They also have a full Breakfast and Lunch menu, but are most famous for their biscuits.

This place is tiny and busy. I got the chicken and cheese biscuit, a soft buttery biscuit, with melty cheese and a nice sized piece of chicken for $ 2.75. I loved it, and it is greasy, but thats the whole personality of the little food joint. Greasy southern food. Point blank period.

I spotted Flo’s Kitchen the first day I started working in Wilson, out driving around during first lunch hour. If you have never been to this part of town, you probably wouldn’t be as curious as I was, seeing that blue house at the end of a three-way intersection, always with country kitchen aroma lingers for a mile. They called it the«cat head» biscuit, because it truly is large, no, giant biscuit. The ones I’ve seen most folks get are the tenderloin biscuits(I like mine with egg too) and the bacon, egg, and cheese biscuits. Normally I would do drive-thru, but if I have the time I would mostly stop and eat inside, that is if you can find a seat during busy hours. You get a good biscuit, a large sweet tea, with a side of home comfort and southern hospitality. Even the Tarheel Traveler has been here:

Horrible. I cannot believe that people like this place. Everything in here is dirty and gross. The local patrons are pretty scary as well. The biscuits are flat, not fluffy… the sausage was nasty. Nothing about this dive was appealing. Stay Away!

A quaint area and town, but in a word — NO! to this restaurant. The first clue should have been the necessity of dodging trucks and cars waiting at the drive-through in order to enter the front door. Inside is seating for perhaps 25, and the daily menu is posted on a white board at the entrance. Since pork chops had been mentioned before, I chose them, hush puppies, cole slaw, and apple slices. What they lack in quality they make up in volume, with two decent sized breaded chops. As far as I could tell, there was no seasoning in the breading; the slaw was OK, hush puppies were dry but OK, and apples were from a can with some cinnamon on top. The chops were dry(one was so overcooked I left it on the plate). All utensils, including the plates, are plastic, which in itself isn’t all bad, but added to the fairly poor quality of the meal, it adds to the 2 star rating. I won’t be coming back.
