This quick diner is part of an age-old dying breed of lunch spots that never left the 1970s. And for a place called the Patio, I was surprised that it actually didn’t have any outdoor seating. Décor aside, they are quick and the food is deliciously priced. For 7 bucks, you can get this massive open-face Italian sub piled high with different savory meats that easily can be eaten for 3 meals. The grilled chicken sandwich is a savory, shredded chicken mess of yumminess. To top if off, they have soft-serve ice cream with an old school sprinkle machine that carefully rotates around your ice cream and evenly distributes sprinkles. I’m pretty sure the owner was just as excited to use the sprinkle machine as I was to watch it in action.
